• Scanner only works on some computers

  I recently bought a Canon LiDE 220 scanner which is supported by El Capitan according to apple of supported scanners page, but whenever I try to scan on my computer it says "Scanner reported an error. Cannot communicate with scanner ". I installed the Canon software before you try to analyze, and I wonder if that's a problem because it works on two MacBook Pro (Non-retina display) without the Canon software. I restored my computer from a time machine backup I made before I installed the software, and I still had no luck. Any ideas?

  So in summary:

  Does not work on MacBook Pro (Retina Display) OS X El Captain with or without software and drivers from Canon.

  Does it work on MacBook Pro OS X El Captian without Canon software.

  I tried to use a snippet, page printers and preferences system, Capture of Image Scanners and scanner Canon proprietary application all to nothing done.

  Has anyone run into this or know why it works on some computers, but not mine? I love a fix or work around.

  Looks like one of your MacBook Pro has a communication problem with your scanner, and you have tested the device with multiple applications and drivers.  If you haven't already done so, try to run through the printer General troubleshooting tips in the article below.

  If you have another question of impression

  These steps may resolve with no other obvious cause printing problems:

  1. Open the Printers & Scanners System Preferencespane, then select your printer and click the minus (-) to remove the printer from the list.
  2. Follow the steps described in the previous section to add your printer.
  3. If the problem persists, reset the printing system, then follow the steps in the previous section once more.

  If the issue is not resolved, these final measures to avoid that any currently installed printer drivers:

  1. Reset the printing system again.
  2. Rename the file to/Library/Printers:
     • From the Finder, choose go > go to folder. Then type /Library and then click OK.
     • Click once on the back of the printer to select, and then press ENTER to start to rename the folder. Type Printers-old , and then press ENTER to save the new name.
  3. Follow the steps in the previous section once more.

  sound only works on some programs able to get on wmv, audio mp3, all sound tests but still unable to hear any sound on all links. The problem started when the sound volume icon disappeared from the taskbar, also the expander to the taskbar control disappeared at the same time.   Do you mean that you have no web sounds? If so, make sure "Play web pages" or similar is verified in any browser you use.
  What did you win by dating the ATA drivers?
  You must identify your audio driver and the update.
  Go to the website of your computer manufacturer and obtain the correct drivers from there. If you PC, then go to the MB manufacturers website and get the drivers from there.
  Code 31: you managed to corrupt your audio drivers. Do as above.

• Form with active user rights only works on some machines.

  I created a pdf file that contains video media. For this I have attached an acrobat form created with extended user rights. When send a certain number of respondents, some are able to open and fill out the form, and then return the form (in pdf format) while others experience a message "this operation is not allowed.

  The pdf of media is created in Acrobat 9 pro on the Windows XP platform and the form in Acrobat as well. The form has three drop-down menus and the three fields to fill.

  If the form is sent on its own, everyone is able to access.  It is only when the form is sent as an attachment to the pdf of video media that this is a known issue. The pdf file must be retro-compatible with Acro7.

  My problem is that I do not understand why it works with some and not others. (These are not coprorates but people.)

• Wi-fi/lan connection only works on some devices

  Hello... I have problem with wi-fi/lan connection. I work in a school with about 100 children. The problem is that some computers/phones/laptops can connect normally to a connection wi-fi/lan but some cant. The internet icon actually shows normal connection, but you cannot browse the internet. When this happen the only thing I can do to help temporarily change the mac address of the device with software changing Mac and which usually resolves it. So maybe the problem is that too many devices are connected at the same time or mac addreses interfere with each other or something. I have tried almost everytnig, reseting routers, change the settings of the router, changing channels, etc. of mac filtering... It was working fine before. Maybe you can help. P.S. • sharing is only working for some websites of Internet connection

  Wi - Fi my laptop is steady as a rock, but the wireless adapter I have for my office to cancel very often, so I decided to connect both via an ethernet cable and use internet connection sharing so that the Office can enjoy wireless laptop. Both computers have Windows 7 Home Premium installed.

  I use PPR to set the attribute read-only a bean of messageTextInput in an advancedTable through the value of a checkbox (PaySite) on the same report of the VO.  This check box is selected PPR.  The VO has an EO attribute supported for the checkbox, as well as a transitional attribute named ReadOnlyPaySiteCBRNum.  The bean messageTextInput declaratively bound to the transient VO attribute with "${oa." XxmclApSuppliersVO1.ReadOnlyPaySiteCBRNum} "assigned to its read-only attribute.

  In the VORowImpl method of setPaySite for the box does the following to set the transient attribute associated with the attribute read-only the messageTextInput bean.

  When the page is run it automatically displays the records.  Any document that does not have the enabled check box also indicates the field of messageTextInput updated as expected.   If I check the Site pay the VO setPaySite method is executed, and the messageTextInput field becomes read-only.  If I uncheck the box Site pay the setPaySite method is run again and the setReadOnlyPaySiteCBRNum (Boolean.FALSE) is called, but the messageTextInput field does not have to be updated as expected.  If I update the data after you apply this change, given that the value of the checkbox is now disabled, the messageTextInput field is updatable.  PPR is partially working in this case, and I don't know hwy it does not completely work.

  I found a work around.  I added the code in bold and italic , and it works.  BTW, I'm on R12.1.3.

• Create Bluetooth earpiece function only works in some cases

  The function create a listener Bluetooth generates an ID of listener that lets wait for an incoming connection of Bluetooth. Because every time that you run a VI that contains this function, it must create a new listener ID, otherwise the block following that wait on the listener will crash.

  I found that for the listener to create function work properly the entry that the Service Description must be connected to a control element. If its connected to a constant run only once, then creating a new id of the listener, but she keep this id indefinitely. In this case, you will need to close all the screws and reopen to be able to run the function again.

  I could reproduce the error. I presented a report to R & D. I'll let you know when I get a response from them.

• Problems with Firefox 13. Cannot see the drive of audio files online. Video only works on some sites. Everything works OK or update Flash. No change

  The problems started when Firefox updated 13. tried to download the latest version of Flash 11.2.202.235. No change.

  Video works sometimes on YouTube, not at all on most of the other sites.

  Audio player not working do not at all. Not yet visible or Real Player downloads against playing within the application like Amazon.

  Tried to turn Add ons to find the culprit. No luck.

  Just as there should be in Internet Explorer.

  On my WordPress site has MP3 audio files and uses a flashplayer to view and play music files. With flash player on, nothing appears, (Bank space where audio player would normally displayed)

  If I turn off the flash of the shock wave, a text link that Downloads MP3 in a new window (quick player), also video does not work on any Web site. If I turn off the Flash and quicktime, text link to downloads of audio file in realplayer.

  Thank you. I uninstalled Flash 11.3 and installed the old version, 10.3. Everything works fine now. I don't know if it is a problem of Mozilla or Adobe, but it seems strange that either would such a problem of incompatibility to exist.

• DateTime liquid switch only works on some browser form input fields

  I have a form of agreement where I would like to have the current date is displayed only (readonly) in the form of entry.  This will display the date perfectly well a range of browsers and OS but my client always reports that the form field displays the date + time (22-June-2015-12:00). Apparently, it still shows 12:00 for the time. I was unable to reproduce it in any of my tests with several browsers and operating systems.

  Generally, if your Mac works correctly in Mode safe, but not normally, then you have a third-party software that runs at the start of the origin of the problem.

  Safe mode disables most of the extensions of third-party startup and some Apple hardware, so it could be another problem for Apple, but I have never heard of your problem.

• Multimedia file sharing only works if the two devices are connected using the same protocol

  So I'm frustrated!

  I spent an hour trying to get my Windows 7 computer to share my music with my XBox 360. I have two machines on my network, one connected by Ethernet to the router and the other connected by WiFi. I tried everything I could find online to get the WiFi connected machine appears in the "Music Player" on my XBox system - follow all sharing, make sure that my router has UPnP, restarted a bouquet of services, etc..
  Nothing! During this time, my machine connected to Ethernet was watching me in the face. He has appeared on the XBox without problem. I started to compare the settings on both machines and found no difference.
  Then I remembered, boredom, I had setting up WiFi sync for Windows Phone my wife. In fact, it was this session of troubleshooting that lead me to put this machine on the WiFi in the first place! Seems to set up WiFi sync, Windows Phone and the target of the machine must be, not only connected to the same network (obviously), but for some reason any the $ @$ crazy, both connected by WiFi. I just connected this computer by WiFi - not happy, a faster speed with my wired connection - and immediately fixed the problem itself.
  Then, remembering that, I moved my XBox WiFi network and - presto - my second machine appears without a problem.
  My question is... WTF! ???
  This is ridiculous - this is the same network! Why things must be connected using the same protocol?
