  Why add and remove program does NOT work on some programs. These are programs on a computer that was created using a process of the image. Like ghost?

  If you have a third party app that will not uninstall, I think I might check the support page for this application and see what they have to say about it.

  I see that just goes through Add/Remove programs too, but there is an option "what happens if it does not work" too (or post in the forums).

• Form with active user rights only works on some machines.

  I created a pdf file that contains video media. For this I have attached an acrobat form created with extended user rights. When send a certain number of respondents, some are able to open and fill out the form, and then return the form (in pdf format) while others experience a message "this operation is not allowed.

  The pdf of media is created in Acrobat 9 pro on the Windows XP platform and the form in Acrobat as well. The form has three drop-down menus and the three fields to fill.

  If the form is sent on its own, everyone is able to access.  It is only when the form is sent as an attachment to the pdf of video media that this is a known issue. The pdf file must be retro-compatible with Acro7.

  My problem is that I do not understand why it works with some and not others. (These are not coprorates but people.)

• Scanner only works on some computers

  I recently bought a Canon LiDE 220 scanner which is supported by El Capitan according to apple of supported scanners page, but whenever I try to scan on my computer it says "Scanner reported an error. Cannot communicate with scanner ". I installed the Canon software before you try to analyze, and I wonder if that's a problem because it works on two MacBook Pro (Non-retina display) without the Canon software. I restored my computer from a time machine backup I made before I installed the software, and I still had no luck. Any ideas?

  Does not work on MacBook Pro (Retina Display) OS X El Captain with or without software and drivers from Canon.

  Does it work on MacBook Pro OS X El Captian without Canon software.

  I tried to use a snippet, page printers and preferences system, Capture of Image Scanners and scanner Canon proprietary application all to nothing done.

  Has anyone run into this or know why it works on some computers, but not mine? I love a fix or work around.

  Looks like one of your MacBook Pro has a communication problem with your scanner, and you have tested the device with multiple applications and drivers.  If you haven't already done so, try to run through the printer General troubleshooting tips in the article below.

  If you have another question of impression

  These steps may resolve with no other obvious cause printing problems:

  1. Open the Printers & Scanners System Preferencespane, then select your printer and click the minus (-) to remove the printer from the list.
  2. Follow the steps described in the previous section to add your printer.
  3. If the problem persists, reset the printing system, then follow the steps in the previous section once more.

  If the issue is not resolved, these final measures to avoid that any currently installed printer drivers:

  1. Reset the printing system again.
  2. Rename the file to/Library/Printers:
     • From the Finder, choose go > go to folder. Then type /Library and then click OK.
     • Click once on the back of the printer to select, and then press ENTER to start to rename the folder. Type Printers-old , and then press ENTER to save the new name.
  3. Follow the steps in the previous section once more.

• HP Envy Touch: Sound only works for about 1 hour after I restart. Then suddenly stops.

  When I restart my computer, my sound works for an hour or two and then suddenyl turns off. It does this with or without a helmet. It works again as soon as I restart the computer, but I would really do not have to restart my computer every hour just to get the sound to work.

  Also-download of Windows 8 is not an option because a large part of my work is incompatiable with windows 8

  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

  After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  Recovery Manager - Windows 8.

  If the pesists of the problem, right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select playback devices.  Right click 'Speakers and headphones' (or speakers/HP), and then select Properties.  Select the Advanced tab, and then remove the check box "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device."  Click apply and then click Ok to save this change.

  Restart the laptop.

  The sound on this Dell Inspiron One 19 t works only if I jiggle the volume control constantly.  The drivers are up to date and the only thing I can add is that this problem started when I reinstalled Windows 7 after a BSOD.  I tried to use Puppy Linux using a live CD, and even who could understand the question sound, even if it has detected the sound architecture right and everything is configured.  Just always had this problem.  So now I'm using Windows 7 and have installed all the updates and still I can't hear sound if I move the slider volume up and down.  It is therefore completely useless without good audio playback.

  I searched and searched on the internet and it doesn't seem to be a very common problem, and nobody is mentioning the same problem with the conexant smartaudio driver windows 7.  In any case... I'm a little sick of these computer things now... just full of bugs provided by companies billions of dollar, which tends to support you unless you pay them $ more.

  Please do not answer in an audio format or I won't be able to hear it :)

  The currently installed driver may be reported as the latest version, but he could have become corrupt and therefore not working properly.

  So, even if the driver is updated, you might find that download and install the driver from the Dell support site will fix the problem.

• Wi-fi/lan connection only works on some devices

  Hello... I have problem with wi-fi/lan connection. I work in a school with about 100 children. The problem is that some computers/phones/laptops can connect normally to a connection wi-fi/lan but some cant. The internet icon actually shows normal connection, but you cannot browse the internet. When this happen the only thing I can do to help temporarily change the mac address of the device with software changing Mac and which usually resolves it. So maybe the problem is that too many devices are connected at the same time or mac addreses interfere with each other or something. I have tried almost everytnig, reseting routers, change the settings of the router, changing channels, etc. of mac filtering... It was working fine before. Maybe you can help. P.S. • Strange blue tint only seen in some programs - Windows 7

  My computer running Windows 7.  My laptop is only 2 years.

  About a week or two ago, I noticed that some of my image-art-photo consultation programs (Photo Viewer Windows, Windows Photo Gallery [uninstall] and Adobe Photoshop Elements 10) on my computer all of a sudden had a sort of strange blue-tint (Blues are more dark green have a bluish tint to them) to the images?  This strange hue is NOT seen in the preview of images images (as well you view them from the folder), is not apparent on Microsoft Paint, Power Point, Word, or even on the internet.  He is also seen if I open programs on a second monitor.  The hue appears on my laptop.  In all other programs, EXCEPT these two, the images looked exactly like how they had looked at a few weeks before this change suddenly.  When I open the Windows Photo Viewer, the hue is apparent.  When I open 10 EPA, the hue is apparent.  I know that's not the programs, because I have not changed anything with them.

  To summarize, this strange colour blue did not appear before a week or two ago.  I have not changed anything on Windows or EPA 10 Photo Viewer.  The hue appears on my laptop screen and only on the images themselves (not whole screen).  When I opened these programs on a separate monitor, the colors are fine.

  I have to run even though some Windows updates.  Unfortunately, I fell a little on my computer was updated, so I got a few months (end of October 2012) value of updates to do.  I looked at everything just uninstall all updates and see if the problem that will be resolved, but I wanted to see if there was a simpler solution first.

  I did a swf file that records your microphone and allows you to read.  I load the soundBytes in a float and re-read the float.  It works fine on the computer, that I developed it on (in IE, Chrome and Firefox).  It does not work on my second laptop.  And a few people in some forums have said that is not no longer works.

• Tecra M5 - sound only works if Win XP SP2 has been loaded

  I have a sound problem that just started. I can hear the windows play music startup, but at the time where my system sound is no longer working.
  When I go into the properties of sound under control panel everything is greyed out and he said no. Audio Device.

  What about the other sound settings in Control Panel-> sound and audio devices control

  Please check what default device has been set in the audio tab.

  However, if all the settings are correctly defined the it could be a software problem. In this case, you can try to recover the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
  I know it's a radical solution, but it would help to solve this problem.

• DateTime liquid switch only works on some browser form input fields

  I have a form of agreement where I would like to have the current date is displayed only (readonly) in the form of entry.  This will display the date perfectly well a range of browsers and OS but my client always reports that the form field displays the date + time (22-June-2015-12:00). Apparently, it still shows 12:00 for the time. I was unable to reproduce it in any of my tests with several browsers and operating systems.
