• I deleted the iTune movies, but the memory said 355 GB of movies was still in memory. Erased from the music/ITune... rebooted Media/Movies...emptied bin... now it says the 355 identical Go is 'other' files. How to recover this 355 GB of memory?

  If the administrator account is not corrupted, it is available in XP Home restarting the computer in Mode safe.  In XP Pro, you can get on behalf of administrator mode without failure or by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the 'Welcome' screen.

• Satellite Pro A210 - recover the HARD internal disk

  Happy new year guys – love the active forum community!

  My Satellite Pro A210 dead spectacular a few months back and being out of warranty, I did my best to fix it - diagnosis I think has a faulty motherboard (No bios loading, no start-up through external boot disks/drives) and if I do regular backups, there are always a few files that get missed so connected the HARD drive to another PC to find the HARD drive died in that it is not even turn.

  Is it possible, even bother to try to change the circuit printed out the HARD drive, like-for-like, or is the circuit "listens" on the disc (even if it could lead to another Board blown) or what are my options to get the HARD drive looked at and repaired, at what price?

  This means you want to replace the Control Board on the underside of the HARD drive itself?

  Well, theoretically it of possible, but note: you can only replace it with a Board of 100% same HARD drive. If you use it from another HARD disk you can destroy the HARD drive and everything on it always makes not readable so it s sensitive technique.
  So before of you exchange it make sure that the model numbers of the two HARD drives are 100% identical.

  I've never done this on 2.5 portable hard drives but a few years ago I did it on my drive HARD 3.5 from desktop and it worked and so I was able to recover my data. The reason was that t wasn't HDD spinning up more (totally dead) and the problem was the faulty Control Board.

  If you can open OE, then go to file | Identities and setup a new identity. This will give you a store own message and a clean settings registry hive.   Then go to file | Import | Messages and import from the old identity.  If it works fine, so beware of interference antivirus (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) and add your e-mail account to the new identity.  Then make a backup if you don't have it already.

• Lost access to the IDENTITY of the USER when connecting... Went to unknown user

  I worked last night for a few hours and installed two products ASHAMPOO (their Photo and Office Automation) and everything worked very well after that restart and I made sure that everything was fine and was working properly with the new program and those that exist as well.

  I woke up this morning and turned on the computer and an error came up saying it couldn't find the USER regular (or standard), but there was no name of the user and it is then open to an empty office.  I did a system restore to yesterday but STILL NOTHING.  I went to the USER ACCOUNTS from the control panel and don't see any other than comments and administrator designated account, but both are empty files and folders and items on the desktop. I see again all MY programs and files that I used when I look in Windows Explorer, but have no way to import to a new identity (or user) I created for all.  I checked to see if the files and folders had any rhyme or reason, but it seems that the USER account I am looking for is not able to be accessed by all means.  I see a folder on the C: drive, which seems to have my correct links to the office and I see as "Program Files" as well as with my programs (with the exception of Outlook Express (which is ALSO urgent). Now, I can also see on four accounts of user unknown (only through Windows Explorer - not in the field of user accounts) that I don't recognize, and all are empty of one of my articles information or office.  I desperately need to find a way to get the computer to use my USER account, so I can get my desktop computer, programs and send them.

  This is much like a corrupt user profile.  It shouldn't be too hard to recover from this.  Try this Microsoft article:

  I found following problem and can not solve.

  I installed two ACS 5.3.0.40 cluster (internal Build ID: B.839) hardware appliances.

  I created the identity store sequence in this way:

  • List of authentication method - based password
  • Authentication and recovery research list of attributes:
    • First server providing the SMS authentication (via the Radius Protocol)
    • Secondly, in the order is RSA Authentication Manager (SecurID token twofactor authentication)

  • List of recovering additional attribute - internal users

  • Advanced options:

    • If the current identity store access failed - store continue to the following identity in the sequence

    • For the recovery of the attribute only: option Checked - if internal user/host not found or disabled then out of sequence and treats them like "User Not Found".

  My idea is this - user will try authneticate, sequence identity will be initiated - if the user does not exist on the SMS server, then it should be authneticated through RSA AM. On the end of additional attributes should be taken account in the ACS internal database (it is used for authorization).

  Problem is that if authentication agains first store sequence identity server will fail, second sequence server is never contacted. If the user exists on the first server auth. connection will pass without problem.

  I'm tempted to change the order of the sequences, but if RSA AM is first and SMS Server second situation is always the same, as before, the only user on RSA AM going.

  Newspaper I see that only the first server is mentioned in the item store of identity (authentication summary).

  Event session saying (if the SMS server is the first) - Radius for the USER authentication failed: breskmic MAC: AUTHTYPE: failed authentication Radius

  Authentication dedails: Access Policy - selected Indetity stores - both servers are properly mentioned

  Steps to follow:

  • 24613 authenticate to the RADIUS server in token failed.
  • 22057 advanced option that is configured for an application from the failure of authentication is used.
  • 22061 the option 'Refuse' Advanced is set in the case of a request for authentication has failed.
  • 11003 returned RADIUS Access-Reject
  • It comes to the end of the log - server RSA if AM is the first in the order, then the result is the same.

  Can someone help me with this problem, I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug in ACS?
