recovery corrupted

Yesterday I burned my 6 recovery disks, today I find that I have corrupted files. Does this mean that my recovery disks are also corrupt? Because I didn't know I even had corrupted files until I ran something I found this sfc/scannow site (offline) this is how I discovered the corrupted files. So I ran DISM.exe and he said: everything is fixed. I restarted sfc/scannow, and then he said no violations found. What I have to do several recovery disks? If so I don't think that HP won't let me.

Hello

The recovery damaged or deleted partition?  If this is not the case, the disks should work perfectly.

These backup files contain the original operating system, drivers and software shipped with the computer.

I hope someone has ideas about how the file may be damaged, and if there is anything else I could do to get it back.

You need more of a reading of PSD program if the order of byte in the file is damaged. A data recovery tool can be worth a try. I used Phoenix PSD repair successfully in the past. Unfortunately, it is a commercial product and not free-autour $ 40, so it really depends on how much value place you on the damaged file. There is a download test and memory, it allows the file to be recovered, but not saved, so that you know it will work up to a certain point before you buy. I must say though that with the corrupted PSD files sound usually a question of recovery layers because there will always be some corrupted this layer.

  • Pavilion G7 - 1117cl: laptop recovery corrupted.

My wife has an HP laptop that apparently has been invaded by a virus.

I ran a full recovery of the system of the system to recover.

"Everything" be okay except that it will install is no longer in many Windows updates.

Some go in the good, too to fails.

I guess the virus got into the part of resumption of training.

If I buy recovery discs system master HP and completely reset and restore this remove any virus hidden in the disc and fix Windows 7 update?

It is perhaps simply an update of Windows ordering process. I recently did a cover on a portable 4 years old, which means a lot of Windows updates. In a first time, many did not - some were installing. I think that what is happening is that some are mandatory before others will install actually - but WU is not smart enough to put them in good condition. It took about a week to WU before all seemed to start to work. I had the laptop placed to get updates on a daily basis and left that it powered, but I checked manually updates a few times over a few days speed up the process. I was almost ready to throw in the towel when everyone finally click.

On the question of recovery disks-, it is always better to have them onhand. You never know when a hard disk will fail and must be replaced. In this case they are certainly needed. They also help to correct problems in the event of a bad virus infection.

If you can't make your game using HP Recovery Manager I would order them.

I've been advised to reinstall my operating system, due to problems. I used the Partion of recovery through the HP Recovery Manager. I had problems on the day of resettlement (two blue screens with a lot of writing, as well as problems of MS Updater).

1 could the recovery corrupted Partion and cause problems? I have recovery disks.

    2. If I delete the (presumed corrupt) recovery Partition, a new recovery Partition will be re - created when I use the recovery discs?

    3. I think that if I have recovery discs that I don't have a recovery Partion. True? Or is the recovery Partition needed for the restoration and the SFC Points, etc.?

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

When you perform a factory restore of recovery media, which erases the entire disc and recreates the original scores, including the recovery partition.

But yes, if you restore discs, you really don't need the recovery partition.

No, recovering files is read-only. The only time I've seen is file recovery corrupted if HP issues a patch that is capable of writing to them_which rarely occurs.

    Hello

Except if you have already created your set of recovery disks, order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below.  With the help of these discs to reinstall the operating system will also recreate the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

If you have a problem with this link, order them directly from HP.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

  • Cushion REPLACEMENT-C78C Drive Encryption Reset HP Elite

    Hello

I have a HP Elite model Pad REPLACEMENT-C78C and I'm having a problem with the HP drive encryption.

I activated somehow it while trying to tackle another issue.

Long story short, I ended up by making the tablet.

Trying to get into the operating system, he asked me the password I entered and it said it was inaccurate, I was puzzled because after several attempts always said my password was incorrect.

So I used the spare key and correctly answered personal question and I have been authorized to access the operating system.

While in the window 8.1, I tried disabling the HP drive encryption, but ended up changing the spare keys information and clicked to RESTART later. Well, although always try the HP Drive Encryption Devil ended up restarting the tablet.

Entered the password required, denied said incorrect password.

Used the spare key and entered personal information requested, information REJECT said incorrect. I know that I have entered the information correctly.

NOW I'M STUCK on the ENCRYPTION SCREEN is there a way I can reset this?

Jlh4431 OK, the error "error 0 x 1005: unable to copy the file from source to destination" seems to point to a recovery corrupted disk, or possible hard disk corruption. Hard drive corruption is more likely, given that you got the error during formatting. It may be fixable, but you must connect your hard drive to a computer that can analyze the disk for errors. If you do not have this ability in the best way to get up and running is to replace the drive and perform a recovery of HP to restore it to factory settings.

I found the error in the section "the other errors occur during the recovery process" in this document: solving the problems of recovery system (Windows Vista)

Let me know what you can do.

  • Photoshop questions color bands appear in the PSD files?

I hope I can get help with a problem I've had with Photoshop or my PC.   I use Photoshop to make the illustration work.  My problem is that some of the work files I've saved get magenta or green strips through them when I reopen it.  This has happened more recently.  They are not a few strips of color, it's like a bunch of a part of the illustration is projected onto another area, and this band discolour the part of the illustration it is superimposed on.    Files of closing and reopening will not fix the image, or don't restart PS, but restarting the computer succeeded in restoring the images, however, corruption continues happening randomly with other files.   Anyone know what is the cause and what can I do about it?    I tried to disable the graphics processor and change the drawing to basic mode, etc.   I don't know if the problem is from photoshop, my pc or my graphics card. So far, only to restart my PC will correct the image, but I really want to solve this problem, so he continued to occur.

Thank you very much for your time!

  • Recovery disc breaks down due to corrupt elements

    Hi all

My laptop for some strange reason has decided to stop working. The login screen has not appeared and she says something on which there is a visualization of connection error - anyway this error message appears instead of the login screen. It wouldn't disappear.

So I thought I'd just use the recovery discs? But two-thirds of the way along the process, she grinds to stop with the computer saying that it is impossible to recover either the 4th or 5th partition probably because of corrupted elements (CRS or something similar). Of course now the hard disk of the computer has been cleared.

I have several recovery disks that I have tried and none of them does not seem to work. Can anyone suggest something to help?

    See you soon,.

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Important information, that I miss in your ad... What model of laptop you have exactly?

And I m wondering why you have several recovery discs. Normally, you need a single recovery disk for each laptop.

In any case, what happens if you install Windows on a drive of Microsoft? Maybe your recovery disc is scratched

  • Corrupted files and queries on the Installation/recovery media

    Hey guys.

So I've had my laptop for about 2-3 years now, it is a Toshiba model of course. I really need help. Basically, I foolishly managed to download some malware on my laptop. It was a mistake that I never knew. I used MalwareBytes to rid the cell of the malware. However. I noticed that my Windows store did not at all.

So I went to the Microsoft Windows support to answer Tech to talk with someone about the issue. They found that the malware must have obtained in the system and so the file may have been corrupted. I've also upgraded to Windows 8.1 via an automatic update. I noticed that the PC settings and the store did not work at all as the files were corrupted.

Someone from the Office of response team said that I needed to have my PC manufacturer installation media - if I didn't pay for their extra support - and reset the Toshiba operating system.

Is there a way to get it? What does mean by "install media"? Can I reset my Toshiba OS to its factory condition?

    Let me know! Thank you.

    > Is it possible to achieve this? What does mean by "install media"? Can I reset my Toshiba OS to its factory condition?
Each new Toshiba notebook comes with the pre-installed operating system, what we called recovery image. This recovery image is a software which contains the Windows, all necessary drivers, tools/utilities Toshiba specific operating system and some additional software.
This recovery image is saved on the HARD drive and laptop user is able to reinstall the recovery image if there is a serious problem.
In General, this can be done using HARD recovery disk image installation. Of course, for some reason, this image of HARD drive recovery is not possible. To avoid this situation Toshiba recommend creation of recovery media. Recovery media is DVD or USB created as bootable media and can be used for recovery image installation. This media can be created to use preinstalled Toshiba recovery media creator. All this is described in the document s user manuals.

Please note: when you buy the notebook this installation disc is NOT a part of the package. You must create one.
After reading your ad, I agree that the best option for you is clean OS reinstallation. How it works under Win8 you can read on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htm
Please note: after a successful updated Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows some of HARD drive recovery options are no longer available.

If there is a problem with the installation of disk recovery HARD clean there is another option: you can order the original installation disc of recovery on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

Please, check the option for installation of recovery and post comments please.

  • Product recovery does not work on Equim L40 - corrupted files

I was wondering if someone can help me.

I've had this laptop for a few months and wanted to do a clean install of the system today and after that on several occasions now she crosses the CD and gets Strawberry where he deals with the new facility and after all away three-quarters through her comes to us in fact say "error: complete failure due to corrupt files.»

I don't understand how this can be if she tries to re - install the system from the recovery CD.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello

Maybe is the default of restore CD. I think that your neotebook is still under warranty. Go to a Toshiba ASP allow to check the recovery media and if it is fault they replace.

I have a Toshiba 2450-101 but 2 2 CD is corrupt. Where can I go to download this file to obtain a replacement CD.

Wow you are an owner of Sat 2450-101?
I put t know exactly how old this laptop but it s certainly an oldie.

To be honest I don t believe you can order a new disc of recovery for this series.
As mentioned this is an old and I believe that the recovery discs are not longer available.

You last chance would be a facility operating system to use the original disc of MS Windows.
The necessary drivers are available on the page of the Toshiba driver due to age for laptop, you will need to search the Archives for pilots.
