Recovery mode v 1.03?

Probably screwed up my player on...

This all started when my player is stuck on 'updating of the database' screen. (still don't know which file was, but I guess I will deal with that later).

Anyway Ive spent the day of formatting and setting a mode of recovery and others - firmware update which took time to understand. Well, I actually had the player to work again at some point in there, but when I downloaded the songs, titles show no spaces in the names of the song. I realized that it was probably an old version of firmware and stupidly decided that I should try to get as many firmware updates before you load any music more.

Well, somewhere along the line I think I'm done with the firmware for V2 (and I'm pretty sure that my version is a V1). So now that I have the firmware 1,0301 G V2 works... only problem is MSC mode no longer works because my computer has this problem where it cannot recognize the new hardware and update apparently does think it as new hardware. So I thought that "ok, bad downgrade to the old version using recovery mode» Nope... Good recovery mode does not work in v 1.03 equally apparently, or maybe it's just because I mixed versions...

Anyone know if there is something to do? / any way to get in recovery mode now?

EDIT: this is a player e270

You have the Lil' Monsta splash screen?  I would like to replace the firmware with the standard firmware from 1.02.18 or 1.02.24.

There is a little problem, however, the files must be renamed in order overwrute the beta firmware.

Check out this last post.

Note that the beta firmware is a buggy Monster.  Too bad, because I love the lil' monsta screen...

  • iPhone stuck in Recovery Mode 6s

I have updated to iOS 10. When I came back to my phone, it's in recovery mode. I kept restarting. Still stuck. It takes forever to restore on my computer, it ALWAYS does. I don't know if this has to do with the fact that my phone has had betas out there, but now I turn here: what's next?

    Hello malcolm229,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

Looks like you were previously running iOS 10 beta and now have problems updating your iPhone to the public version of iOS 10. We can see you iPhone seems to be in both recovery mode and you cannot move forward.

We know that unexpected situations, as are not optimal, but we are here for you!

At this point, if you have not already done so, you will need to follow the steps described in the article below to restore your iPhone and run the public version of iOS 10.

Any software beta iOS - Apple Support

Back to the current version of the iOS

If you want to come back to the current version of the iOS using iOS beta, follow these steps:

    1. Make sure you use the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Put your device in mode recovery and restore it. If you enable find my iPhone, enter your Apple ID and password after restoring to activate your device.
    3. If you are unable to finish the restoration, get help.
    4. Once the restore is complete, you can configure your device to your backup archived. This backup must be from an earlier version of iOS.

If your device is equipped with a version beta of iOS and you return the device to a previous version of iOS, that you can not restore your backup. This can happen if the backup is from a later version of the iOS. For example, if you restore your device to the current version of the iOS and try to use a backup that you created using a beta version of iOS.

We realize that your iPhone is already showing connect to iTunes chart on the screen, but the work through the steps as described here to try to resolve the problem.

    Have a nice day

  • Recovery mode

We tried to make the update iOS 10, but he went into recovery mode. As we are away, we have no access to iTunes. Any ideas on how we can restore?

Unfortunately, you will need a computer to get out of Recovery Mode. If you do not have access to one, you can try to go to an Apple Store or a library. You will need to see if the library allows to iTunes on the computer. You need the latest version.

  • can't get into recovery mode

My ipad2 nonstop, first. When I press on and press and hold the power button on the top, slide stops seeing never does. Finally I connect to computer via USB and itunes. When I try to turn off hard, it just won't work. I try to get back in now theHOME and button / stop, but I never get further than the white Apple Logo.

    Just to be sure:

Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes.

When your device is connected, force restart it: press and hold the sleep/wake and home for at least 10 seconds, and only release when you see the Apple logo.

Keep now until see you the recovery mode screen and wait that he eat.

You may need to do the above, more than once as recovery mode is difficult to enter.

Restore first as New and test. Then restore backup if you wish. If the backup is corrupt it will probably bring back the question.

  • iPhone stuck on recovery mode.

Alright. So I have an iPhone 5s, I bought it June 16. What makes almost 3 months.
I bought then returned, but there has never been any problem.
He obtained weat like 2 months ago, but after a night that I put it in rice, it was perfect again!

A few days ago it started having problems. First, the home button did not work. I restarted my iphone and it worked. a few hours later, I had the same problem. I rebooted, nothing happened, so I just turned it off one night and it worked again. Now, today. It has stopped working. Nothing is done, however, footprint does not work.
Now, I used the EasyTouch or how it's not called. The thing is, after a few hours, it got stuck on recovery mode. He's after a few hours. It happened a few times, and now it won't go down. It wont let me update and I can't lose all my data! I have not saved. Never. I NEVER even thought that something might happen to her. I always keep it if course, I don't know what to do. If I have to go somewhere to fix it, I'll have to save for a few months. Which means that I won't have a phone. I need REALLY help and fast! Please, I beg you!
    Thanks, Tamar

If it is in recovery mode (showing the screen USB cable and iTunes logo), then your data has already been lost. Your only option is to restore the iOS through iTunes.
