Red spots in LR 2.6 watch one imported RAW Photos

I've been a happy user of Lightroom from the beginning, but my allegience it erodes quickly since the upgrade to version 2.6 64 bit.  I noticed immediately that the function of automatic development, which in the past has worked very well and often not required no tweaking from me, just not very good more.  It doesn't seem to do much, it causes the picture to be over-exposed many or I need to change the photo myself.  Another problem is that some photos have huge red spots in some areas, mainly on the white or othe slightly color boxes.  These tasks do not appear on the converted images, but they obviously shouldn't be there when I'm processing in LR and it's very distracting.

Speaking of the conversion to other formats, the only complaint for a long time, I had with LR that I would like to know if there is an option to disable the opening of records to show pictures of converts.  I don't feel as if I have to see every single photo in Windows Explorer every time that I convert it into another format.  I'm perfectly able to open Windows Explorer myself if I want.  What's worse, is that if you ignore it, it opens a new instance of the Explorer for each converted file.

Auto-ton has never worked for me. I would just ignore it. If you know the tools, it's much faster and more reliable for all this by yourself.

Red spots: you probably have the indication burst enabled clipping. In your histogram in the top right, there is a small triangle pointing upward. Click to disable the warning of overexposure. There is a similar indicator for connect the shadows on the upper left of the histogram. Alternatively, you can press 'J' to switch between modes

Your last question is on export, I guess? You never convert anything in Lightroom as you never overwrite the original file. In the export Panel, there is an option on the bottom of the list called "post processing". If you don't want to open Explorer, simply set this 'status quo' and save it as an export of new presets.

  • Red spots on the photo of the sunset

I was taking pictures of the sunset at a recent wedding with the sunset on my Nikon D7100.  The images have a reflective red spot in them.  How is the best way to remove or decrease, it?  clone/healing tool will not work because of the detail behind the place.

    byb01.jpg

It's flare - internal reflections between the lens elements. Zooms are particularly prone to this because of the number of lenses.

The best way to deal with these things (apart from the shooting with lenses preferred when possible), is to make a couple of adjustment layers that will fix the most extreme area entirely. Then you hide and invert the mask, so that the adjustment is hidden. You can do this on different layers, or group them and hide the group.

The idea is now little by little the paint in the adjustment with a soft brush to a low opacity. The great advantage of this is that you simply press X to reverse if you overdo. This way you can go back until it's right.

Oh BTW, your file is ProPhoto RGB, never a good choice for web content. Convert to sRGB before posting.

  • Why red spots appear on my photo when I import a RAW image in the RAW dialog box?

I just downloaded 13 items.  When I import a RAW image in the RAW dialog box, large red spots appear on the image, before you do anything.  I can't get rid of them, and restart the program has no effect.  I did not have this problem with 11 elements.  Thanks for any input.

You probably have the highlight clipping warning

Press O on the keyboard or click the triangle shown in the screenshot below to turn it off.

  • Why don't I have red spots on my photos?

    Like that.

    http://I0.Kym-CDN.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/001/384/Atrapitis.gif

The reason why I asked because there is no red spots on the photo you have posted and I thought you were trying to illustrate the problem. Red spots show that you have your highlight clipping indicator enabled so that reflections that are cut can be identified. I have both light and shadow, indicators of clipping turned on all the time so that I can adjust these areas and eliminate cutting insofar as possible.

    Hello Tallydupp, welcome.

Do you by chance have Google Desktop? Some users have reported interference problems in Winodws 7 while using an older version of Google Desktop.
Try to uninstall it if it exists.

  • Cannot remove one of my photo folders

Hello. I'm trying to find a way to remove one of my photo folders.  I have several photo folders, but this other issue seems to have a problem.  He seems to have a video clip in it (I have to store my photos and my videos that all under photos & other files with videos work very well).  When I try to click on it, I can't see it.  I can't delete the file also.  When I try to delete the folder it just freezes up my screen and says "not responding" and will stay like that, unless I Cancel.  When I right click on the folder, it says that it contains 1 file, 0 folders, the read-only check box is marked, without sharing and I am the admin.  Also, once I clicked on this issue, then I'm impossible to open one of my other records photo without having to log out and log back in.  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium.  I hope I gave enough information.  If anyone has an answer I would really appreciate it.  In addition, please let me know if you need any additional information.  Thank you.

Hi, restart in Mode safe and try to delete the photo.

Reboot and the "F8" key which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu". Use the arrows on your keyboard to move to "Safe Mode" and press your enter key.

Then use Unlocker to unlock file: http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html

  • Is it possible to import Raw files into the LR catalog...... including all changes in an external file raw editor such as Capture One?

Is it possible to import Raw files into the LR catalog...... including all changes in an external file raw editor such as Capture One?

I can import the Raw file successfully, but can't see all the changes that have been applied in Capture One. IM assuming not, but just to check.

Your assumption is correct, Capture One, Lightroom and other third party raw processors have their own exclusive process and profiles to render the raw data.

They do not make permanent changes to the raw data and save changes to a .xmp file or to a Lightroom catalog file.

When im connected to my computer laptop hd tv with hdmi cable when watching films, there is a red line that appear in different places all the time the film is going.

Also the film for a s-2 slows down randomly or going fast as if it were a documentery and not a movie.

Same goes with the vga output only that I don't have the red lines on the screen.
And why quelquesUne my lap top don't get recognized by 2 / 3 output from the HDMI to your TV.

BTW I checked it 2 TV so is not the problem of the tv and it is not the problem of cable as well since the ps3 connection and play does give me no problem as I mentioned above.

I am running windows 7 64 bit with all the drivers updated.

Hope some of you had this problem and would be able to help me.

Have you noticed the same sense on s to laptop screen?

I think you should check the different HDMI cables and should check the HDMI settings and the different ports of the TV, even if the HDMI cable works very well with the PS3.
The fact is that these lines does not appear on the TV using the VGA port and VGA cable so it has something to do with port HDMI, TV or the cable.

In addition, you should check if this issue would be reading different movies from different sources (HDD, DVD, etc.)

Last but not Lea I would recommend updating the graphics card driver.
