(Redirected) Dell Inspiron 5000 [contactless] with Windows 10

I'm sorry but I do not know where to ask this question >

I want to buy a laptop 'Inspiron 17 5000 series No-Touch', but I would buy it with the next Microsoft Windows 10.

Anyone happen to know the approximate date when this may be available and what impact this may have on the cost of the unit?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You will first need to go to the website of manufacturers for your model computer and first find out if there are native drivers in Windows 7. A large number of computers that are preloaded with Windows 10 do not pilot have native support for Windows 7 by the manufacturer. If there is no native driver, you will need to consider returning the machine and buying a machine preloaded with Windows 10 Pro with downgrade rights to Windows 7 Professional. Or look through the catalogue of manufacturers for systems already preloaded with Windows 7, usually the business sector will have these options.

  • Dell Inspiron 700 m with Windows XP is slow

I searched the Internet and discovered that you can reinstall using winnt32.exe. I tried and installed on another partition on my drive hard (I dunno really what I do.) The newly installed XP on a different partition has one problem: he can't connect to internet because I think it doesn't have the drivers and I do not have the CD for the drivers. So in my computer, it has 2 hard drives: disk Local (c) and (d), (c) one is the original. So I want to start Windows XP by using the C: drive, but it starts by using the D: drive. I tried disk management, but it is said: the RPC server is unavailable. Any help? Thank you!

Sorry, but I think I lost it :( I live in the Philippines and I don't think that we have a center of Dell here. Is there another way?

Online. Go to the Dell website, enter the number of your computer and you should be able to order a replacement CD. If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you!

  • The microphone volume is very low on a Dell inspiron 13 7348 with Windows 10

On my new Dell inspiron 13 7348 the microphone volume so low that my Skype partners can barely hear me. I checked all the settings in Skype and software audio dell and I updated all drivers... without success

Connect a microphone extermal solves the problem, however, I prefer to not always have an additional microphone with me!

Has anyone found a way to increase the volume of the microphone?

Since an external device works well I'm afraid that the build-in microphone is actually of minor quality... what a disappointment

So far, nothing has changed. I continue to go all my encounters with my laptop and this webcam with microphone build - in which I used the last in 2005... It's ridiculous... Don't know how many times I have had to explain to my colleagues why I use this external microphone... BTW, their Skype works well on non Dell computers with Windows 10 so I guess it's a problem that only affects users of Dell...

As I said before, it's a big disappointment, and in the future I will avoid Dell products.

  • Dell Inspiron 5000 Series (is it ok to let trendy or not because the battery is intact and cannot be deleted)

    Hello

This dell inspiron 5000 series for use with batteries that can not be delete. Once its full do I have unplugged and just plugged in a time vacuum or simply leave it plugged? I want that its battery to last longer.

    Thank you ~!

don't know what type of battery you have. but, I spent time to research on my machine before you purchase it. and according to a bunch of Web sites, the most recent (not sure how much newer) lithium cell batteries have a much longer lifetime, unlike those of 4 or 5 years ago. and the Dell machines are made so you can leave plugged in as much as you want. because as soon as the battery is recharged, the battery is not circumvented, therefore no wear on them when it is plugged.

hope that it will be quite simple.

  • Why many DELL notebooks still come with Windows 7?

    Hello

I think to buy a DELL, probably the series Inspiron laptop.

I see a lot of DELL notebooks still come with Windows 7 and it's even a filter criterion when you browse laptops at DELL.com

There is 'Windows 7' and 'Windows 8 ' filters.

DELL is not confident in Windows 8 or what is the reason?

Also, if I buy a laptop today, would you advise me to choose Windows 7 Windows 8 and reasoning why?

    Thank you.

Windows 8 has no XP mode and does not have a start menu and is not compatible with many other things. So no I don't see things at my disposal at any time.

  • I have a Dell computer that came with Windows XP Home edition. When I start my computer the monitoring of ERROR appears: RUNDLL error loading \3\DLBUtime.dll

    Error loading \3\DLBUtime.dll

I have a Dell computer that came with Windows XP Home edition.  When I start my computer the monitoring of ERROR appears: RUNDLL error loading specified not found \3\DLBUtime.dll module

I just click 'ok' and he goes, but, as for what it stop popping up everytime I start my computer.

Can someone help me with this?

    Aprilm,

You are LuLu5119, who posted a question last August?

If this isn't the case, you should have started your own thread.  If so (and even if not), you should have responded to questions about Dell printers.

Assuming that you complain of a "Error loading \3\DLBUtime.dll" message that appears when you start your computer, you should know that the DLBUtime.dll file probably has something to do with the software from Dell which has been partially deleted, but could also be indicative of malware as well as partially withdrawn.

In both cases, the best way for start you to prevent the message at windows is to download Autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Install the Autoruns and let it complete the scan of your computer.  Then click on the "Connection" tab and uncheck the following entry:

Look for an entry that has 'DLBUCATS' in the first column.  If you do not see that, look for "rundll32 \3\dlbutime.dll" in the last column ("path of the Image).

Uncheck that entry, close Autoruns and restart your computer.  You should get is no longer the message.

If for any reason, you find later that you need dlbutime.dll running, run Autoruns and check the box. If you decide that you need never again, run Autoruns, right-click on the entry and select Delete.

As General precautionary measure, in case your entry dlbutime.dll was related to malicious software, rather than the Dell printing software, download the following free scanners:

    MalwareBytes Anti-Malware: http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware Portable: http://superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html

For MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, download, install, update and run.
For Portable SAS, follow the instructions on the Web page (note that the instructions assume that you use a different computer to download; if you're not, just make a note of the name of the file).

  • External monitors Dell Inspiron 15 (7537) with Nvidia GT750M.

I am literally pulling my hair!  I can't find specs tell me what types of resolutions and refresh of the monitor are supported.

The laptop has only a HDMI port (no DisplayPort - I did not notice it before placing my order mid-2014) and now I'm stuck with HDMI.

This weekend I tried hang my laptop to a 4 K TV - it made the TV - but only if the internal display was given - and, even in this case, the refresh rate was really bad... I'm only a casual viewer video - but I found the jerks of unacceptable frame rates.  This suggests strongly that the laptop is not HDMI 2.0. I know now that I must look at lower resolutions 3840 x 2160

I want to know... If I buy a WQHD monitor and connect it to HDMI, it displays in 2560 x 1440 while also driving the internal 1080 p monitor... or what I have to go down up to 1920 x 1200?

All this is * very * frustrating.  I hope someone can tell me what my laptop will support (to the native resolution and native refresh rate.)

I am pleased to announce that... Fortunately for me... the post above to 1920 x 1200 being the maximum external resolution is flat.

I read the response a few minutes after I had placed an order (after carefully checking the return policy) for a monitor Samsung WQHD (a S27D850T).  I have it plugged into my Dell Inspiron 15 7537 (with graphics GeForce GT750M and weird HDMI Intel connection as the only option for an external monitor) it ensures * BRILLIANTLY *-no configuration issues; 60 Hz refresh rate; 2560 x 1440 resolution.  It extends from my internal display.  Perfect performance, as far as I can tell!  No quality no questions at all.

I can also confirm that my Dell Inspiron 7537 * may * lead a 4 K TV over HDMI... I tested this weekend... It is not clear if it's the fault of the TV 4 K, the Dell or a combination of both... but only, I could get 30 Hz refresh and the rendering of images in movement at UHD resolution was not acceptable - it felt 10-15 fps.  I tried 3 different sets of 4K (because I could not find all the monitors 4K!) Two does not have an image to 4 K - the third, only when I turned off the clean laptop screen.  Perhaps I might have gotten a 4K screen work... but I am very happy with my purchase WQHD.

I can recommend the WQHD Samsung S27D850T for the Dell 15 7537 port HDMI Intel with chipset Nvidia GeForce GT750M.  I can not, however, recommend Dell on its documentation, or support.

  • New Dell Inspiron 1764: Problems with signal low connection to wireless networks.

I have a new laptop Dell Inspiron 1764 I received on 25 June. It is "replace" a Dell Inspiron 9100, who has learned to be too slow and too bulky for my needs. For the purposes of support, the two laptops are running on Windows 7.

Overall, I love my new Inspiron 1764. However, I noticed the connection/signal strength seriously degraded, with wireless (Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini card) card, compared to my Inspiron 9100 (Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN Mini-PCI card).

In areas of my home that my 9100 can obtain the power of the complete signal (5 bars), my new 1764 bars 2 or less. This behavior is not as limited to only my house as I have tested in my work and in an area of less than 10 feet away from the wireless router, I have 'Internet connectivity problems.

I tried twice this morning talk with Dell technical support. The first person I talked to tried to be helpful and initiated at least a DellConnect session with me so that he can check out some of my settings and such (However, why they went twice in my sharing settings I could not determine as they have absolutely nothing to do with the intensity of the signal).

Unfortunately, I was disconnected from the session when I went to a place that had less signal than just next to my wireless router.

I then go on the chat support with Dell and received another technician to speak with. I explained my problem, told them that I was in a DellConnect session with the other technician, and they looked to the top of my support contract.

They then told me that my warranty does not cover software issues and referred me to the software Department and said it would be a supplement. I told them that I did not believe that it is a problem of software in any way, shape, or form. They told me that it must be a matter of adjustment. I spent several hours scouring the internet forums on Dell and other sites check those who have had similar problems. Some of their questions were certainly the software settings, but I still don't yet to find anything that tells me I have an incorrect setting of software.

So far, I'm standing in my kitchen, tapping on my Inspiron 9100 with a full 5 bars, while my Inspiron 1764 is sitting next to me with a skinny 2 bars, and I am literally standing 7 feet above the room which houses my Linksys WRTU54G-TM router.

Personally, I suspect a faulty wireless card, but how to convince Dell to hear my case and replace it instead of trying to bilk me for support of useless software?

I hope Dell Tech Support bed actually this post, or people with the same problem can Dell refer to my previous post describing the problem and the fix.

It IS a PROBLEM of MATERIAL WITH the ANTENNA, AND VERY PROBABLY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN a DECK CONNECTION at the ANTENNA of the PLATE, from connections TAPE FOIL INDIVIDUAL at the ANTENNA of the PLATE, THAT DELL MUST HAVE RESPONSE BETWEEN WHAT MINE PORTABLE has BEEN CARRIED OUT AND THE SPARE ROOM WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOFTWARE, PROVIDER OR ROUTER, IT IS THE PLASTIC WITH THE ANTENNA CASE!

Dell is in fact losing more money with the hours of technical support through software patches and sending technicians with new wireless cards that does not solve the problem. They need to send and replace the plastic case behind the LCD screen with the updating of antenna and connections.

    Good luck!
