Redistribute a W7 image in Virtualbox

Hello.

I have a VirtualBox image that has Windows 7 Professional 64 bit English enabled. In this image, we develop our own ASP-based application that requires some effort to install IIS, SQL Express etc. This image is used to develop our application.

We want to distribute this image (can be installed on a VirtualBox) environment.

I guess that I can't use the same W7 license key I.

How can I fix this problem on the client site when I install the VM image. Is it possible to pay a new license and record the W7 in the VM client.

Best regards, Juaan

You buy the retail package and use the product key from the packaging.

Where can I still get Windows 7?

Full version-

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

I have trouble downloading the image to virtualbox SampleAppv309R2 because my download manager does not know how to accept the license agreement.

    Here is what I tried:

    (1) go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/obiee-samples-167534.html

    (2) to accept the license agreement

    (3) drag the first file to download to the Download Manager. I use Free Download Manager because it seems that it is an Oracle recommends.

    (4) it will fail with the error below:

    Sorry!

In order to download products from Oracle Technology Network, you must accept the OTN license terms.

So exactly how you guys were able to download files not corrupted for this? I've tried just downloading each of zip files without using a download manager, but they failed to extract, which lead me to try to use a download manager.

I figured this out. What ended up working for me was:

    (1) in firefox, go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/obiee-samples-167534.html

    (2) do not connect to Oracle again (disconnect if you are already connected)

    (3) accept the license agreement.

    (4) download the file with Download Manager

    (5) she invites you login, which now you should do.

    (6) in the URL, you will see that it adds a "Auth =" token and the download works correctly

How can I get these two commands to work?
Why the these commands are not available in the installation on this instance VIRTUALBOX?

    Thank you
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

In TSAM 11 g and later, all the TSAM configuration is now done via the console TSAM. It was to avoid that the TSAM Manager and monitor systems get out of sync in what concerns the strategies for monitoring and alerts. So in the TSAM console, you can set up policies and alert definitions monitoring and when you activate them, the definitions are pushed to the monitored system of Tuxedo.

  • ISO image of Windows

Someone has explicit instructions on how to do it and is it essential? Thanks for your help.

iso is a copy of an optical disc, you can read more of his https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_image e

If you do not need to run 3d games is a lot less hassel to install xp on a virtual machine like oracles free virtualbox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Mac%20OS%20X%20build%20instructions it you have to worry not special drivers for the mac mini for stuff to work

I just need these to help users on the fourms with these devices.

  • Get the width/height of the current image / information of KING of user input

    Hello

    I have two problems:

    First of all:

Y at - it an option to get the width and height of the image to use for calculations or set a return on investment for the right settings?

    Second (more complicated):

I have used Labview 8.5 custom interface (see the interface.jpg attachment).

I am trying to get the return on investment of the Interface and use it in my app Builder of Vision, but I don't see the return on investment or its size or position or something...

Is it possible to get this information from the Interface?

    Information:

    I use Vision Builder 2009 SP1, LabVIEW 8.5

    Thanks for your replies!

    Hello

I missed that when I tested it... the display image control must have been larger than the size of the image and the property node returned the value that I expected.

A restriction of the VI to Interface custom that you create in LabVIEW, is that it cannot have any dependencies (call any subgroup screws), other than the methods and the nodes property of the objects you put on. Therefore, I can't just call IMAQ GetImageSize her. So it does not seem possible at this point for the VI of custom Interface return the size of the image.

The solution, at this stage, to get the size of the image of the Interior Vision Builder AI, is to use a step in LabVIEW Run, calling a simple VI that takes an image as input, called IMAQ GetImageSize and return res X and Y.

Note that for purposes of distribution, when you call a VI using a LabVIEW execution step, you must save it as a source distribution in a Bachelor's degree in LAW and you must redistribute this llb with your inspection. See using setup step run LabVIEW for more details.

Sorry there is no better way to do this now.

    Best regards

Original title: Digital Image 2006 Windows?

My operating system is Windows XP SP3.  I have installed Windows Digital Image 2006 but when I clicked on "create a new project" he has opened with a page containing a red X, calendar, frog and a butterfly, and I was unable to go further.  It is a good editing software, but I would like to be able to use all the facilities.

If someone familiar with this program, please indicate what could be the problem and how I might be able to correct even.

    Thank you.

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
    Use the following steps:
    (1) right click on the program
    2) click Properties
    3) click on the Compatibility tab
    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows

If compatibility is not successful, then try and run the program compatibility problems:

If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.

If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other 3rd party software virtualization and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

  • Slow Windows 7 performance; Fast in VirtualBox with Ubuntu

I have a very strange problem on my Sony Vaio VPCF232FX/B.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit with all updates installed. I installed clean with a retail disc and tried to run with the factory OEM image. Any method instalez, Windows 7 runs pretty slow. It isn't horrible, but it's boring at the same time. For example, I click on something, open directory, double click on a file, etc. and it will take 3-4 seconds for the same register that I took this action. Sometimes, the mouse will also stutter (he'll stop moving for a second then disappear and reappear (jump) a certain number of pixels in the direction I moved it).

Here's the strange part: I also have Ubuntu installed in a dual-boot configuration. If I install Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit through Ubuntu in VirtualBox and use my key to retail, Windows runs as expected. No hangs and everything is very fast.

Until someone asks: Yes, when I install Windows, I erase the entire disk and delete the Ubuntu partition to make sure that the window is installed by itself. Even then, I feel the same delays, crashes and stuttering mouse casual. I even tried to wipe the disc completely using own dispart order everything to make sure that no viruses exist on disk system hard.

Is there a reason why 64-bit Windows 7 would be better in a virtual environment in Ubuntu it would directly using all the system resources? This seems very strange to me.

I swapped the 500 GB drive with my 250 GB of spare drive. Both the same speed to 7200 RPM and both Advanced Format drives. The 250 GB drive showed a noticeable performance improvement and looked like what I remember being as out of the box. I have my hard drive replaced under warranty through Sony.

Thanks again for all the help.

  • Windows Update fails in Windows 8, Windows 8 running on VM VirtualBox

Original title: Windows Update failed in Windows 8

Windows 8 Pro is installed on it; no antivirus, no 3rd party service.  I got the download of Windows 8 students of the MS upgrade because the license I had was for XP OEM.  Their online store said I couldn't go directly to 8.1.  In order to get the cleanest system, that I could get, I reinstalled XP Pro from scratch.  The MS store forces installation of the upgrade of Windows 8 to help them ensure the Download Manager.  Yes, steps up to now:

    (1) install XP OEM

    (2) install all the XP updates

    (3) download and install the upgrade to win 8 using the secure download manager

    (4) apply Windows 8 updates so I can finally get to the 8.1

It may also be important to note that this facility is running in a VirtualBox VM.  I bought XP OEM disc when I got the laptop (Lenovo T520), but have always run Ubuntu Linux on the host computer.  So my reading on the Windows license is that I have no problem there.  The steps above take the largest part of a full day; so I'm a bit reluctant to reinstall again from scratch.

Finally, the Windows process update Gets an update to KB2785094 which fails.  I got a few different errors and passed through all stages troubleshooting recommended in the KB and this forum that I could find.  Errors include 80073712 and 8024afff.

    Troubleshooting steps tried:

    (1) run the file system, by http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957310 Checker

It wasn't anything to turn off except the app tray Virtualbox Guest Additions, since it is essentially a new installation

    (11) see the same mistakes over and over again.  8024afff seems to have disappeared, but 80073712 keeps recurring.

A problem I noticed with the application of the DISM is that article that says: "If your Windows Update client is already broken, use a Windows installation running as the source of the repair, or use a file side-by-side Windows from a network share or removable media, such as the Windows DVD, such as source files. To do this, run the following command instead:

    "DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth/source: C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess.

Unfortunately, due to the screwy way, Microsoft provides the installation files during the upgrade as I did, I'm not aware of having any source of repair.  If anyone knows where the secure download manager puts installation files that could serve as a source for execution of DISM?  Other other ideas that made the exact same installation and expect a different result (one definition of insanity)?

    Thank you
