  I think the answer to your question is not you can't refine rear edge starting in CC2015.5, but you can always do, is have parallel installations of Photoshop on the same computer. Take a look at the link below to see how it's done.   Yes, that's right - the multisite license allows you to have yourself + three other participants - you can have a total of 7 - unless you use a form any MCU.

  The older edge MXP could do the full 7 (yourself and three others by video and audio 3 extra - as long as everything was in the throttling of 2304kbpds), but as you said, the Edge 95MXPs went to end of sale on May 14, 2013, so are no longer available.

  The Titler file goes to Video Track 2 above the video on the video 1 track.

  Blur the mask layer or use the tool to refine the edges. And you can read on how to do it 'the right way' using complete layers, of modes and layer masks rather than using the selections.
