Your question assumes that the T2 user is in a different database than the T1 user.   Is this correct?  Or are you just assuming that you need a link to db for a user to access the user another tables?

If T1 and T2 are in the same database, no connection is required.  You simply grant T1 to T2 tables necessary access privileges.

If T1 and T2 are really in different databases... Well, think about it a little.  If you are logged in as T1 in database D1, how a link in D2 would give nothing?  How D1 and use it?  That suggests the description in CREATE DATABASE LINK ?

A database link is nothing else that a mechanism that allows a data base (D1) to act as a client to another database (D2).  D1 is the customer, D1 to the link to tell him how to connect to the D2.  LDAP (like sqlplus) would be like any other customer.  And beyond the definition of link itself, the actual connection mechanism is exactly the same as would be used by any other client program running on the same server as D1.

  • link reg: Return

    Hey,.

    I migrated two reports

one of the reports is to have a custom 'back' link for navigation reports dating back just an earlier report, but when I did a migration of these reports, these reports doesnot show a link back instead to show the link 'back' regular and going back also in place a report goes to the first page.

is it possible to change the name and functionality of the link «back»

    Thank you

    Hello
Your case better use custom link.try back to URL GO--> option for guided navigation report.
    Reference:
    https://forums.Oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=943842 and http://bintelligencegroup.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/button-for-return-to-previous-screen/

    Link back:

  • Satellite A500/02J: Unable to get link REGZA/HDMI to work

I have a laptop A500/02J Satellite with hdmi output, and I have a pre-installed toshiba hdmi control program.
Recently, I bought a color LCD toshiba REGZA 32AV500A TV and have my computer works through the tv via hdmi.

However, my tv has regza link and I can say that my computer supports regza/hdmi control however I can't get the link to work.

I have a windows meda remote Center that I can use to put the computer to sleep, then wake him up to the top.

However, one remote is better than two, also I need to be able to boot the computer from stop just by turning on the TV. Under control hdmi I can turn the computer off when the TV is off, but I don't know how to make the start-up since the closure of the computer simply by turning on the tv.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

The manual says the connected TV remote to operate the computer functions that are:
-Use the TV remote control to exit the screen of the computer on the TV screen
-using the remote control of the TV to launch exploit and close applications on your computer
-Turn on the TV when the HDMI output is selected using the FN + F5 key
-Connect the video output (HDMI or LCD) when execution of some desktop icons
Toggle link REGA on the computer function

But you should also check your settings and laptops BIOS settings.
I don't very well if HDMI REGZA option is available in the BIOS but it s m worth a check

which) and methods to protect the system.

Check with your system manufacturer support, their drivers and documentation online and ask for their
Forums (if any). The system can be restored to the rear out of the box state that eliminates course
all programs and data so data first. Each manufacturer has its own methods, although it is
    usually not a complx process.

  • "the 495 ordinal not found in the dynamic link library urlmon.dll" produces 10 times every reboot

I am running MS Vista on my laptop. Recently when I start up I get the message "the 495 ordinal not found in the dynamic link library urlmon.dll" in a popup box and must cancel 10 times before I can move forward.

I thought somehow it may relate to a recent update that has been accepted for Skype on my system.  So I uninstalled Skype.  Attempts to reinstall Skype have failed.  the installed app, but I cannot arrive at a login screen.  Instead of the normal Skype window, I have just the bottom of loading in a web browser.

I found a similar one but transposed ordinal error discussed 459 in the KB and I tried following many of its steps (+ my results):

    "Method 1:

To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

    a. Quit all programs that are running.

    b. Click Start and then click Run.

    c. type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.

    d. When you receive the message "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded," click OK.

    ('DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll' received successful)

If this does not resolve the issue, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the names of files below):

    ·         Shdocvw.dll (failed)

    ·         Actxprxy.dll (failed)

    ·         Oleaut32.dll (failed)

    ·         Mshtml.dll (received no response)

    ·         Browseui.dll (failed)

    ·         Shell32.dll (managed)

    Method (step 2):

I suggest you to start in safe mode and test the question.

    Safe boot mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method (step 3):

I suggest you perform a SFC Scan and check if it helps.

The tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker scans missing or system corrupted files and repairs them.

First of all lets run a startup repair.

  • How to save a notebook entry in a .reg file

I'm using windows vista 32-bit operating system on a Dell laptop inspiron 1525. Update widows stope work after an update of security for windows vista sp2 has been harnessed downloaded and installed

Have tried to solve a Vista 32 bit windows update problem using tips provided in the answer to the question of the "lack of windows, vista sp2 64-bit installation, service cannot update anything".  I can copy provided a registry for Notepad but Notepad file offers only "txt file and all files ' recording options.  I tried to save him by using the two options, but get a "aren't of registry files."  response when you try to import the file into the regedit program.

    Hello

To create the .reg file, use Regedit.exe to export the registry key that you want to delete, and then use Notepad to edit the .reg file and insert the hyphen.

I suggest you to see the following link for more information:

How to add, change or remove subkeys in registry and values by using a registration entries (.reg) file
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310516

Note: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article: back up the registry in Windows Vista

  • For some reason a cant open my "documents" link in the right-hand corner under my avatar. This is the error code 0 x 80070057 settings are incorrect

    Original title: Start menu

    Hello

I have a problem with my Start menu in vista.
For some reason a cant open my "documents" link in the right-hand corner under my avatar.
His explains the configuration (I tried to start the copy and stick to the desktop screen) operation because there is an unexpected error of cant.
This is the error code 0 x 80070057 settings are incorrect
and then the registry of reg key change for key documents.

Well... How can I get my link back to work again?
Because if I click right mouse on the link and the properties of its white screen bit the properties of documents.
One thing that I remember is that the path to the documents is c:/user/documents instead of the documents.
But the name of the map itself I've already renamed as 'documents' even on C: / as on the windows user, but the cushion that him is a "docu".
And if I want to configure target to DOCUMENTS it says incorrect "whether it is the right path to the target."
And if it is resolved in its ready to use again, I guess?

    Thank you already!
    My best regards,
    Kenneth

  • What are all the REG # files on my C drive

On my laptop, using Windows Vista, there are 150 + REG #. files from a few years ago.  What are these files?  Can I remove in order to save disk space?

Thanks in advance for your help...

I recently made of full scans with my antivirus program as well as the scans with TDSSKiller from Kapersky... return clean all came.

I am suspicious that my use NTBackup from Windows in my laptop Windows Vista generates the REG0 *. * files.  I came across this Article from Microsoft (link... ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257534 ) This indicates that NTBackup has a "bug" that generates temporary files in systems other than Windows XP and do not remove when he in fact.
From this message, I have not materialized with recommendation of article (REG0 DEL *. * files after you run NTBackup), but I have a plan too once, I have a system in place that would allow me to recover in the event of a deletion hurt something.
I did a search in the world (hidden and system files) and the REG0 *. * located in several directories and to account for the large amount of disk space.
Any comments on the Microsoft Support article would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • help with speech reg.

Start speech reg. get popup that says the recognizer language must match the language of the user cannot change the language of the recognizer in the reg speech interface.please. Panel under Advanced options. I tried to go there but not luck.  Thank you in advance please help.

Thanks for reply.those two suggestions have given to me.both does not work.really flustrated.if, you have any suggestions I'd be happy to try them.thank to see again you.

    Here:

DIFFICULTY 1: Using the voice recognition settings

    1. open Control Panel and click on speech recognition icon. Click now on "speech advanced options" link given in the left sidebar.

2 it will open a new window. Make sure that the language is set to the correct location and 'review documents' option is unchecked.

3 apply changes and reboot your system.

SOLUTION 2: Add ctfmon.exe at startup

    1. type regedit in RUN or start menu Searchbox and press ENTER. It will open the registry editor.

2 now go to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

3 in the right pane, create a new string value with the name ctfmon and set its value to ctfmon.exe

4 close the registry editor and restart your system. After the reboot, you shouldn't get the error message and speech recognition should start without any problems.

If none of the above suggestions work, you could do a system restore to a time where the WSR worked on your computer. The last suggestion if neither of those work, watch Dragon NaturallySpeaking recognition voice quality.

  • Links will not open or read online .wmv files

IE8 will not play video files WMV links

With IE8, under Windows7 RC, in a Web page there is a link such as: http://.../file.wmv
If I click on it, an error page appears immediately, saying: Internet explorer cannot display this webpage.
A more detailed description of the error is on 'lost internet connectivity' or 'error in the link' etc...
But if I just right click on the LINKet "save under", the wmv downloads file be saved and opens and play flawlessly in default WMP.
The system has just WMP as a player, configured with the default settings, I rechecked.
I have the same problem on another machine with IE8 on Vista with Divx and VLC Player (but all by default WMP) installed

I found reports of similar problems on the internet, but really no identification of true and the solution of this problem (just the usual platoon 'use firefox!' or 'download winamp!' comments..)
