  We have implemented a new environment of OBIEE (OBIEE 11.1.1.1.9) in a linux environment. I was faced with some problems in the editting BI Publisher reports that have migrated from 10g environment.

  OBIEE 11 G weblogic admin user can create new analysis

  1. login to obiee and add the URL with Managegroups ( http://localhost:9704/analytics/saw.dll?Managegroups)

  2. Select the "Presentation server administrators" group

  3. edit-> user to MSN search and add it to this group.

  I was able to retain the rights administrative everything on the new catalogue by doing the steps below

  1 run a fresh upgrade with destination as a separate folder (D:/dest) and not selecting "{BI_DOMAIN}... repository/bi_publisher /'."

  2 created a new catalog of presentation by specifying the path of the catalog in em ' in a new folder.

  3. copy the units OBI EE (file and files problemcs), upgraded in the shared folder in the folder newly created by Ms.

  4. go in BI Publisher 11 g-> Administration. Navigate to the directory of BI Publisher and point to the destination folder would be: / dest' and run 'Upload to the BI presentation catalog.

  5. now, all units are available in a shared folder with full rights for the user "weblogic" and I still have access to ( http://localhost:9704/analytics/saw.dll?Managegroups).

• Cannot identify or FTP by using the credentials of partners

  I lost access to my sites yesterday.

  When you try to FTP, I get:

  I have already moved on to the new Adobe credentials and FTP worked very well. Now, I get this error.

  I'm unable to contact support directly as my 'Admin' login does not work also.

  I can access the Admin login page and put in my credentials, but I wonder to check a box of new terms. I have this and choose the site I want to enter but clicking the button does nothing.

  Can someone let me contact with Adobe? Prerequisite Cloud he was a form if you couldn't connect at all, but now I can not find.

  Since I am unable to log into the Admin, I can't submit a case or get chat support. The link on the connection 'get help' just sent it to me in the knowledge base.

  Client connection seem to always work, but that does not give me access to the fi partner portal I login as a client.

  I did a few tests more and find that I can connect to client sites using the credentials client and get FTP to customer sites with their powers. But I am not able to connect or FTP using credentials from my partner.

  I wonder if the problem is that I can't go beyond the new Admin Login screen requiring the approval of the new terms. I check the box and click on submit, but nothing happens.

• Cannot read the CD after you have used the active file system

  I use the active file system in Vista to save my work on CD - R. I have often refer to these discs, and occasionally add other files. Once the disk is full, I start a new.

  After referencing files on a disc, I pushed the button as usual. The disc was not immediately ejected. A window on the toolbar open and told me to wait and finally ejected the disc.  When I tried to use the disc again, I could not access the data. I know that the data is still on the disk. In 'Computer' I see '327 MB 702 MB free space'.

  If I click on the drive or try to open it, I get a message "no answer." Finally, I get a window that says to "drag files to the disc to add data. Vista think it as a blank disc.

  Is it possible to access data on the disk, so I can save up to a new drive? Also, what hurts which has caused this problem? I don't want to do it again.

  Check the drive in another computer, better check in several. CD and DVD door, especially
  RW. If the question with a single disc? There are companies that may be able to recover the
  data if it is quite expensive.

  Very good idea to have redundant backups.

  The XMP file contains the changes that have been made so far in the file, but cannot contain suggestions for future changes.

  You don't have to do anything to associate the XMP file to the image, except by checking that the two files are in the same folder.
