Registration of multiple Thermocouples

Hello world

I'm watching 4 Thermocouples simultaneously using a cDAQ-9174 and the NI 9211 thermocouple module. I am very new to LabView. I found a VI which seems to do what I want on the forum (I'll hang), but I can't seem to operate beyond recognition the first data channel.

I think I missed something simple when it comes to select the analog inputs of the VI fort, in order to get the four channels to work.

I am also open to suggestions for a better example VI that can connect 4 thermocouple readings at the same time.

Thanks for your help!

You have to hit the ": 3" at the end of the round.  Select channel 0 from the list, and then add the ": 3" to it.  Who says DAQmx you want channels 0 to 3.  I have a slightly different material (a 9213 instead of 9211) but your VI read the 4 first thermocouples I connected and stacked the traces in the first four graphs.

I am using a chassis cRIO 4 to sample and record up to 64 thermocouples.  Right now I can only sample the whole 64 channel set, but my desired product is a program that can taste and record any subset of thermocouples, selected by the user from the front panel.  The best with what I came is using controls Boolean to enable the output of the unselected channels '0' and a series of LED next to the chart legend to indicate which channels record the true values and recording '0 '.  I want to use Boolean controls to avoid that the registration to all deselected channels program.  I have attached a few photos of my program.  The first is part of my function of data acquisition, which takes the value of each thermocouple and places it in a table to draw on the graph and save. PDM file.  The second is a part of the chain of function name, which combines the names in a table for the. TDMS file and sends each name to an indicator beside the chart legend.  The third shows the chart, with all channels unchecked and without name.  Does anyone have any ideas how I can do this more easily extensible program from the front panel?

I'd work with arrays and clusters instead of use explicitly each channel name, etc..

  • Control of data using multiple thermocouples via indicators and the waveform in real-time

I apologize in advance for this question is probably a bit simple but I'm all new to labview and the forum and could use some advice. I have a CompaqDAQ with two 9213 16 modules of track and I'm trying to read in 30 thermocouples in a waveform, but also display 30 indicators so I can mark each indicator with the thermocouple for real-time tracking. Each thermocouple corresponds to a specific location and it is essential that the interface has an accurate indication or a label for each of them. I wonder if there is an easy way to do this in addition to split the signal and have 30 thermometers on my diagram? Perhaps a table any? If I use a table to create 30 thermometers, the DAQ assistant automatically sorts the thermocouples according to ascending numerical order. For example, would be the indicators of first and second on my interface automatically assigned to channels a0 and a1 of the first module, or should I do it manually? Even for the waveform?  Thank you very much!

PS - Do not know if this message had need of more details, but let me know if more information is needed, and I'll give you!

I see that you use the DAQ Assistant to create your task.  Now I understand why you may have about labelling.  It is easy of the seller NOR spiel booting...  But in any case, you already have a task to the MAX instead of use the DAQ Assistant?  The interface is similar and there may be a step or two, but your end application will be more effective and you will have more options with your data and properties.  For example, I tried to update the names of physical channel in the DAQ Assistant installation program, that it let you do, but it propagates that change forward to waveform chart legend.  Also, I don't know any property for this dynamic data type node, although I never use it either.  I suggest the setting up of your task and channels, Max if you'd give it a go.

Since I thought I didn't really takes you all the way with you help, I wrote another one.  It uses a cluster, even if it's a bit barbaric.  I thought that there was a more eloquent way to do by changing labels, but I could not it works as I had expected.

  • Registration of multiple copies of images in different folders

I posted this in Photoshop Windows, but someone suggested that it was a problem of script...

I tried to simplify my workflow recently. I need to save six different copies (besides than the raw file) of each of my keepers: a PSD, a JPEG aRGB (for stock), a sRGB watermark JPEG (for printing online), a small JPEG watermark (for blog), a JPEG medium (for digital photo frame), and a medium framed a JPEG watermark (for criticism).

To do this, I created 7 actions: profile to convert an Image to mount two, sharpness, framing two and a watermark. I also take a snapshot of the image in two steps, so I can repeat different actions on the same State of the image (it seems faster than the duplication of the image). I record each JPEG with the same name but in different (one for each use) folders.

I was very pleased of this system, until I realized that I still had to muck on the Save dialog under each time I recorded a JPEG file. Ideally, I would like to ask nicely in the right folder and with the right type of selected file (JPEG, PSD not).

The problem is, I can't not to automate completely the process because I have to make judgments about the opacity of tattoo and position, as well as the choice of the color of the frame (black or white), and, besides, I'm not sure I can automate the location and format for recording.

Can anyone suggest a way to facilitate the registration of different copies in the right folders?

Download the Services of Mr. Brown. You can save your six images in two innings of the Dr Browns 1-2-3 process.  Each run will save three files of images for you.  Its easy to use and install. Does most of what you want to do using the settings dialog box.  You can also add you own action for each type processed pictures.  If tou want to enter scripts you could modify the script to record up to six image files in a single run. • Registration of multiple layers

Recently, I tried to edit gif images, put a cover layer to make neater gif. However to save each image has become very repetitive. So my question is simple, is it possible to save several distinct layers as .png images?

Or is there a quicker way that I know?

I use several items 14, and any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Yes just use:

    File > save as

This will create a new file - choose Gif from the format of the file list.

Normally layers are used only with gifs to create an animation.

I am currently set up with 1 NI USB-TC01 (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/208177), and everything works fine.  My question is, can Labview control multiple TC01s simultaneously or I have to buy the NI USB-9211 has (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/201881#) to manage multiple thermocouple measures at the same time?

    Thank you

    Ben,

I didn't know we even had this device but I think that all of the information you want are in the link below.

If you use the built in program, it is four devices, if you are using LabVIEW, you are limited to 127 devices.  I don't know if several windows built-in software should be used if you use a LabVIEW.

  • How to return a multiple registration with Oracle Native Web Service?

    Hi all

I would like to know the native web service oracle can return multiple records of customer or not?

I have successfully developed the native oracle web service to return only one record, but the next challenge is to develop the web service to return a multiple record (such as database on each department employees)

    Thank you and best regards,
    Zenoni

I have successfully developed the native oracle web service to return only one record, but the next challenge is to develop the web service to return a multiple record (such as database on each department employees)

You may return a list (multiple values/records) in XML (using CLOB or XMLType), CSV or JSON format or whatever.

function get_employees (p_department_id in number) return clob
    as
    begin
      return 'your_xml_string_here';
    end get_employees;

It would be up to the customer (the caller of the web service) to extract the values of any format you decide, of course.

  • validation against multiple records (section multiple registration)

How can I validate the records in a record Multiple point (3 files) against multiple records in a database? In other words, if they have previously registered (and is committed to the database) 'A', 'B' and 'C' and then try to enter "C", "D" and "E", a trigger failure will occur because 'C' is recognized as being already in the database. I'm already having control of duplicate records of subject "during a session" via the form, but does not prevent a user to re - enter and update a different record with the same value as one of the other documents submitted previously. Does make sense? I guess I could control it at the database level, making the the user_id AND primary keys of point value, but I want to control it until the user selects the button "Update".

This should check the records that are unique to that user only. Does make sense?

    Mark,
You have a post request (PQ) trigger adding or modifying data when a record is being questioned? The when-validate-Item trigger (WVI) will run only when the State of the item is NEW or CHANGED. When you fill out your form with EXECUTE_QUERY(), the ITEM_STATUS should be query.

If you use a trigger of PQ, would be to reset the record and status of the article once you set your value in the trigger of PQ. For example:

       SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('MY_BLOCK.MY_ITEM', ITEM_IS_VALID, PROPERTY_TRUE);

Another option would be to set the status of all return to the QUERY.

      SET_RECORD_PROPERTY(:SYSTEM.trigger_record, STATUS, QUERY_STATUS);

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 scanning of multiple documents and registration

    Hello

I want to scan a stack of documents (say 20) and then save it maybe 3 in a single file 4 as another 1 as another... etc.

    See you soon

    Hi chrisymc,

I'm afraid that you can't save all 20 documents at once and then save as a separate file, however what you can do is to insert only the target number that you wish to save it as a single to the ADF file / flat and then trigger the scan to complete the scan. and move on to the next batch of pages scanner to another file.

    I hope that helps

  • My iTunes library creates multiple listings for the same artist (spelled identically)

I use iTunes for years and thought I knew how to do everything that I need in there and solve any problem that I've run across.  But in the last 10-14 days, he began to behave strangely, and I'm completely stumped.  I don't know if it's a problem with a new version, if maybe my library file has become corrupted, or if I'm missing something obvious, but as someone who spends hours meticulously entering all the right data to my iTunes library, that drives me crazy.

For some reason any recently, iTunes has begun to create several artist registrations for a handful of artists in my library (in only general I have a LOT of material for.)  Thus, for example, when I scroll my iTunes under 'Artists' library I noticed that Bruce Springsteen four times:

Bruce Springsteen (12 albums, songs of 234)

Bruce Springsteen (16 albums, 201 songs)

Bruce Springsteen (2 albums, 22 songs)

Bruce Springsteen (2 albums, 41 song)

It would be only incredibly annoying, but it actually divides some albums through multiple "artists" so that securities 1,4,6,7 will be an artist under a listing and the rest on another.

I created a smart playlist with the criteria ' artist contains 'bruce' "selected all titles of springsteen and changed the artist on EACH of them to ensure that there is no variation in spelling or spacing.  It does not exist. (Springsteen is the worst offender, having four entries of artist, but there's another 3-4 artists who do the same thing)

It drives me crazy because there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, and it is debilitating to my efforts to clean and organize my library.  I try to avoid manually recharge all my music in iTunes I have dozens of playlists I've spent hours creating and would not have to start over on those.

    Any suggestions?

You have already tried the first method, so try the other here:

  • How to save on multiple audio tracks?

I'm going by Apple Logic help to try and learn how to use it.  I am currently in the recording section, learn how to record on multiple tracks at once.  Here's what helps:

Save on multiple audio tracks at once

    1. Do one of the following:
      • Choose file > Audio recordings overlap > Cycle Mode on > create titles and silent.
      • Choose file > Project Settings > save, then choose the Cycle > create titles and Mute from the pop-up menu, overlapping Audio recordings.
      • CTRL-click on the Record button in the control bar, choose Save settings from the context menu, and then choose Cycle > create titles and Mute from the pop-up menu, overlapping Audio recordings.
    2. Set the input source instrument or microphone for each track you want to record.
    3. Click on the button Activate in the track header of each track you want to record.
    4. Move the playhead to the point in the rule where you want to begin recording.
    5. Logic Pro includes a metronome, which plays a steady beat to help you play in time while recording. You can disable this active or disabled using the metronome button in the control bar.
    6. Click the Count button in the control bar so that the metronome play a preset count-in before the start of the recording. Note: For initial configuration, choose registration > plug-in software component count, and select a measure.
    7. Click on the record button in the bar control (or press R) to start recording.
    8. Start to sing or play your instrument. A new audio region appears on each of the active record tracks.
    9. Click on the Stop button in the bar control (or press the space bar) to stop recording.

I did, but it does not work.  I created two tracks.  I go to a track and click the button Save, then go the other way and click on save, but when I click on the button Save on the Panel at the top, it records only to the last track, I selected the folder it does not save to the other channel.  It seems that as soon as I go to another track and arm to save, it disables the recording on the previous track.  Apparently, help left something in the process.  If anyone can solve this?

    Hello

You must assign different entries for each track:

    Input 1 > track 1

    Input 2 > track 2 etc.

  • Reach registration number OR

I am Setup extended to the acquisition of multiple discs, number of records, set to 50 for 8 channels of 50000 samples. I want to know after 50 triggers received by scope will be stop acquisition or it will start to crush the Chronogram of 0.

I ask this question because everything in extraction of waveforms, I'm more than 100 records, acquisition of data and the scope does not have 50 after triggers, it is waiting for the next release I stop it manually.

    Hi Somu26,

    What digitizer/oscilloscope do you use?

«I want to know after 50 triggers received by scope will be stop acquisition or it will start to crush the chronogram 0.»

The short answer is that the acquisition stops.

The behavior of the driver NOR-SCOPE is defined and described by the following of Acquisition Envine diagram States-transitions.  This documentation can be found in the help file under the heading devices > state diagrams.  It is also documented online here: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370592W-01/digitizers/5122_state_model/

In general, an acquisition ends when all configured samples were acquired.  By default, there is only one folder, then when all the samples in the record is acquired, the acquisition to the 'Full record' State transistions, then to the State 'Done '.  In a multi-record acquisition setting, the unit will continue to acquire data until all records have been acquired.  Once there is no more registration acqure (she has acquired every 50), it will then be transiition as 'Done '.

Note that the Green States that are the only countries in which the data is written in the on-board memory, when an acquisition is completed, no additional data is written to on-board memory, so no chance for the data to be overwritten.

I hope this helps answer your question.  I strongly recommend you and any study of customer digitizer/oscilloscope, as this picture of the State, like most of the questions about the behavior of the device (acquisition, trigger, timouts, etc.) can be answered in it.

    Kind regards

    Nathan P.
