Registration with BBM

I try to incorporate BBM surveys for the first time in a WebWorks app and I'll have a blocking problem. I can't register. I have this code:

Register: function () {}
blackberry.event.addEventListener ('onaccesschanged', {function (accessible, status)})
If (status = 'no') {}
BlackBerry.BBM.Platform.Register ({}
UUID: '739ff5c5-20db-4f6a-849a-1572fc32cc1f '.
});
} ElseIf (status = 'authorized') {}
BBM. Registered = accessible;
}
(}, false);
}

When I call it, nothing happens. I noticed that it adds an event listener to the event "onaccesschanged". But when in the world did this fire? I've added an alert to the inside and I never get to see when you call bbm.register (), so no wonder it doesn't work.

What Miss me?

I use the code here:

https://github.com/BlackBerry/BB10-WebWorks-samples/BLOB/master/BBM/js/BBM.js

He fixed the. Code was correct, I called it's bad.

    Assuming that it is a direct copy of your code, I see a typo in that could be the cause of error.  You 'blackberry.event.addEventListner' when it should be "blackberry.event.addEventListener" - missing an 'e' in the listening port.

    You are subscribed to the blackberry service... If your answer is Yes

    So are you sure that you are connected to the blackberry network...

    How can I check if I connected to blackberry?

    Check the network on the phone with the network it will show you the 3 G, EDGE or GPRS capital...!

    And if so, try to ask for the services again... How?  go to Options > then peripheral > Advance system settings > then open host Routing Table > subsequently, click on the blackberry menu button > select Register...

    Hard reset (remove the battery and put it again) & see...

    I would like to know how it goes...

    Stand by. You have a problem with registration only or you aren't able to watch television at all?

    I did some experiments with Qosmio G30 and WMC and I was able to record all programs available. Because of this, I would like to know if you are able to watch the TV or not.

  • Z10 Z10 Contact with BBM blackBerry problem

    I recently updated my Z10 via BB link to the version of the 10.2.0.424 software and since then something strange happens with my contacts. I search for a name using the APP contact and dial the number of the office. After the call, the contact name is always displayed in my contacts list, but when I open the contacts to view the details, the name has been replaced with a BBM PIN code #. The PIN is also appearing in the list of calls instead of the name. The name is still in the list of contacts. Here's the weird thing in a case the BBM PIN # is for the BlackBerry phone staff people and not used for his work (the number in which I called him) he does not use his personal phone for business or work email. How did you personally BB PIN # end up on my phone?

    Hello Dale65

    Welcome to http://supportforums.blackberry.com/

    Follow the instructions to reload the BlackBerry OS link

    Plug into your BB10 and BBLink
    Then go to preferences and press on the optional software reloads

    Let the process do all your work, and then you begin to define your BB
    And load your backup.

    And let us know if your problem is persistence.

    You must have the latest version of the BlackBerry link installed

    Today updated the link for BlackBerry to version 1.2.0.32

    Download of BlackBerry link v1.2.1.31 (Windows OS)

    Download of BlackBerry link v1.1.1.39 (Mac OS)

    Stay on your side if you want again to 10.2

    Kind regards.

  • Beginning with BBM

    Hi guys, I am completely new to the Blackberry development and I am now trying to understand works on the last BB10 BBM. I looked through a lot of documentation (webcasts as well) and I noticed that you can do impressive things. A first attempt, I began to focus on a simple task such as the sharing of a link inside my application with peers BBM, but I ran into a couple of issues/concerns.

    My reference SDK is Webworks and, as far as I understand it, the first step is to register the app in the platform... Unfortunately, as soon as it happens, the app will slow down showing the spinner. The code that I have implemented is exactly the same, you can find in the API in Webworks documentation examples:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/BlackBerry.BBM.platform.html

    Another point is that I could not find a hook to the API that allows a user to share a link with his contacts, as my original design was designed...

    I am tryng to achieve something which is not provided? What is really when you call "shareContent" as described here: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/apis/blackberry.bbm.platform.users.html#.shareContent

    ??

    Thank you very much for your time

    See you soon

    -marco

    What behavior you see when you open the customer of the BBM itself say?  Here is a link to a sample of BBM SP for WebWorks.

    Note that you don't have to register first if you use any of the API BBM SP.  However, if you use the framework of the call to call the BBM Client, import into your application as a card that you don't have to register.

  • Problem with BBM when

    Hello

    I am facing a problem while developing my BBM app.

    I use BBMPlatformSession to send invitation.

    UserA sends the request to UserB. UserB is attached to it and we have a session in the list and each other.

    UserA-> UserB

    UserB-> UserA

    Now, If UserB sends request to UserC UserC joins, and each user is to have 2 members in the list of contacts of their session. , His work as expected.

    UserA-> UserB, UserC

    UserB-> UserA, UserC

    UserC-> UserA, the UserB

    But, the problem comes when inverter happends, i.e. UserC sends the request to UserB. In this case, each user can see only another user in their contact list.

    UserA-> UserB

    UserB-> UserC

    -> UserB UserC

    I do not know this is the way THAT BBM works or miss what either.

    Thank you

    Sumit.

    Hi Sumit,

    This looks like a problem with the session handling in your application. You can check to see if a session is already established with UserB before allowing the UserB join another session with UserC, or ask us for UserC to join your existing session. TicTacToe sample shows a logic similar to the former, it blocks the second user tries to join and sends a message if a game is already in progress.

    Kind regards

  • Need help with bbm blackBerry Smartphones

    Hey everyone, so I have a little problem with blackberry messenger.

    I am currently overseas and left my sim to my phone and active inside the option of mobile connection power off and left only wireless on. My blackberry messenger worked perfectly on wifi.

    However, I've been corresponding with my phone provider and tell them to pass my number back to front I'll be a stranger for a few months. That took place this morning and I leave around the same time, blackberry Messenger works as well.

    I am able to navigate using the bb browser, but the messages are not delivered (a check mark appears, but no sign of D (elivered)) and I get no messages either.

    Now I do not understand how them my sim for prepaid switching makes a difference? It's not as if I'm on homelessness or even using the phone for the mobile network option. I checked the host routing table and the staff are present. This is what it looks like:

    TO GPRS (505) [5050030]

    A Wi - Fi connection [60]

    TO GPRS (505) [5050030]

    TO GPRS (505) [5050030]

    TO GPRS (505) [5050030]

    I don't understand what is the question. Someone here could help me with this please?

    Thank you

    Hey,.

    Don't sweat! things are complex all around! your blackberry data plan is related to you in two ways. one through your operator and two through your PIN on your bb. so when you initially could receive messages BBM PIN was still active for the BB data plan but after that you flew it through the phone call your PIN has been disabled for any data plan. hope that helps!

I decided to back up my contacts, delete and re install the app but realized after the reboot, I can download is no longer bbm as he shows me app World, bbm is already installed, but can't find anywhere in my phone. Please help I need my bbm back

    Hello presh007

    Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

    If you already verified and that you are unable to locate your BBM icon, then you should try reinstalling the BlackBerry Messenger application, it may be useful.

    To do it from your home screen to go to Options > device > Application Management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

    KB10040 : How to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone

    Deleted once perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a min. and then reinsert this return.

    Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available. After installation, restart your device once more, connecting with your BlackBerry ID and check if you are able to send BBM to one of these devices.

    Please try it and let us know of your progress.

  • Issue with BBM blackBerry Smartphones to add a new contact

    I just bought a BlackBerry for a parent especially to be able to use BBM with him, knowing that he will soon be abroad;

    The problem is that I can not add him to my contacts: scanning the bar code don't work, for what is to type the PIN code or text. I even tried to send him an email. There, for example, can add me, and none of the latter work neither.

    I downloaded the latest updates and tried to charge our devices several times, but it was useless...

    Any idea what could be the problem?

    Thank you in advance!

    Laura, of course try it.

    Rakboyz, please read this thread and follow the suggestions.

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry with BBM groups if some members are not put to the last version of Messenger

    I have a BBM group with 10 friends in there.  A few days after that I've upgraded to the newest Messenger, one of the members of the group cannot see me in the chat.  I can see it, everyone can see the two of us, but I am appear too small on her screen group.  We can BBM each other normally... just not within the group.  Has anyone encountered this?  Is it possible that the problem is that our versions of Messenger no longer compatible for groups?

    Note: it has to upgrade its Messenger to the current version... and everything is back to normal!  Just in case someone else falls on this same problem!

    Hello Spindocter,

    The screenshots you're referring to App World comes from a device to screen touch (9800) they would not appear on a "BOLD", the same options are available on the "BOLD" by pressing the button on your menu.

    See you soon.

  • Traveling with BBM blackBerry smartphones

    I live in Toronto, and I got a lot of data with Rogers. I am currently in Florida, and I have problems sending messages BBM contacts. My mobile network is supported by AT & T-Rogers. I get emails, just not BBM messages. Is there something I need to achieve to the top/turn on my phone? I'm also going to Europe in the summer, so if there is something different, I have to do to allow me to use bbm in Europe, that the information is useful as well.

    Thank you!

    OK, well, then your international data include the PIN messaging, which would include BBMessenger as well.

    If a user attempts to send you a BBMessage, you can receive?

    I know late yesterday, I saw a few users are the United States, complaining about some BBM delays. I don't know if they are affected now.

    You can always try a reboot simple:

    With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Often, in this way a reboot will restore all network connections.

  • Issues with BBM blackBerry Smartphones 2

    Hi, first I have a Bold 9700 and my contract covers everything (internet/email/bbm, etc.). (Edit: and I am on Orange, to the United Kingdom, if it makes a difference.)

    But whenever I've been on BBM it has not looked like all the manuals of the user here say it should - I don't see the display picture of anyone, and I can't add my own. When I looked at the online books and tried to follow the instructions, the layout / interface was different textbooks suggest it should - and I tried a number of different versions of more textbooks, is not that I am looking at the wrong version.

    However, I did check and noticed that I was on a version 4 something BBM. I had the link to update sent to my phone and updated. However, now the BBM icon has disappeared from my home page and I can't find anywhere to get back. I had been able to always get him well "switch application", but I restarted my phone and now I can not even find BBM through the application of switch option either.

    I noticed something here on the RIM, I guess that's the issue, but I don't know why it would be. I did not add anything like that to my phone, but as I say, the complete package of my service provider, so I could not see any reason why I wouldn't be able to upgrade my BBM on my device.

    Any help to recover the icon would be massively appreciated (while I want the display pic problem to work, I'm more interested in being able to get on BBM himself first!)

    Thanks in advance for any help, greatly appreciated!

    I would say this: use your BlackBerry Messenger feature to back up your contacts, you have now, and also, do a full backup using the Desktop Manager.

    Then go into Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the Messenger app and do not click it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

    Now, do a restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

    After installation and reboot if necessary, check your instant messaging, or downloads of the application folder.

    You can restore your contacts from the application of v.5 BBM or from Office Manager > Backup/Restore > advanced.
