• Windows Fax and Scan, invalid Handle

  The blue screen of death, then could not start on Windows, finally had to start the Vista disk and run ChkDsk, which fixed the problem. But now when I try to send a fax using WFS, I get an Error Message cannot be sent. The handle is not valid.

  I removed the modem and re installed, re, I loaded the original drivers while in Safe Mode, I tried a lot of different things, but its still a problem. The modem works as I can interview him and get a response and that it can open the phone line.

  An upgrade may not work, search and you will see what Microsoft has to say about the upgrade if your current operating system is corrupt. A clean install is better or you can try a repair.   I have at my disposal a Windows 7, 64-bit, laptop and a Windows Server 2008, 32-bit.

  My suite Adobe CC is installed on the laptop, but the server needs to stay as stripped down as possible.

  There are help files built into some software (on the server) I want to convert to PDF format rather than print them. As with many printers, I thought that I could share the PDF driver installed by Acrobat Pro software, and then just send the coil on the server. I fell initially on missing driver problems, so I google a solution where there are additional drivers contained in program files (x 86). However, there were several enigmatic named "* .inf" any files that showed up some certificates of 6 driver that all had the same name. Talk about directions being useless, even if they were right. In all cases, the first installation of the driver came with promising results, but no final file. I thought I could just update the shared, 32-bit driver, but will understand that the option to refresh the secondary driver was not found. The recognized common dialogue clearly, I installed one, but an option to update or manual removal is not provided.

  I'm at a point where I'd like Adobe to just show me some love and throw the 32-bit Setup program Adobe PDF Converter that would have been incorporated into earlier versions of Adobe Acrobat. If anyone could lead me in the right direction to solve my problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Acrobat is not approved for use on the server. If you can print PostScript on the server, you can take the postscript file and distill them on your version of Distiller.

  Does anyone know how the analog input voltage 6008 invalid handles?  Specifically, what happens if the circumstantial channel is configured for a 0 - 10 range v and a voltage negaitve, (-19.0) volts is placed on the analog input?

  I use the library, C/C++, OR-DAQMx library.  The call that I use to set up the port of AtoD is:

  What will happen if any illegal input voltage is applied.  I know that everything is a wide range, so I don't talk about something like -60 to + 60 volts.

  And no, there is no error generated when the input is out of reach.  Scaling the proper entry so that this doesn't happen. or if this is the case, your software recognizes that is higher than expected.

  If, on the contrary, in the onTargetDetected(), I put a State, whose another thread to work then, check and the worker thread does the connector opened and read, I get the following error:

  There is no available in the debugger stack trace.

  Connector.open () seems to return a good NDEFTagConnection.

  I get the exception when you try to do the reading on the NDEFTagConnection.

  I tried to add a block of getEventLock(), where there was a problem with the event thread locking, but it has no effect.

  I do not know this "not valid" indicates, but the debugger, it seems that the connection has a _connectionHandle = 33554892... which is similar to the values I see when it works (on the event thread).

  Any ideas?

  It is essentially caused by a race condition:

  Treatment by a call to onTargetDetected must be completed on the thread main event (unlike other types of connection). We therefore recommend that this treatment completed as soon as possible (certainly less than one second). The reason of the error experienced, is that on the return of the synchronous onTargetDetected, the closed system the connection call so that the other thread hits an error when it tries to read. This isn't a defect; It is a constraint to use.

  Some of the downloads fail to OK, some download, but even those who download fail to install.

  As you can read in the help, you do not use the name of constant control in this function; Instead, you must call GetCtrlArrayFromResourceID to obtain the handle to be used in the following functions on this component.

• KB3011780 breaks my network of Retrospect on my HP 6300 system backups

  I installed KB3011780 on a system HP 6300 (Windows 7 Pro SP1 64 bit with all the other patches published to date).  We use Retrospect 7.7 on this system to make backups to a hard drive connected locally, on the network to an Iomega StorCenter ix2 - 200 NAS (now supported by Lenovo).  The backups worked without any problems for a long time.  The ix2-200 has Firmware Version 2.1.44.30050 which is updated.

  Over this last weekend, Retrospect tried to re-create the backups ("recycle") one of the network, but failed half way through the process.  I restarted the backup, and it has not yet.  I rebooted the NAS and backup Windows system, restarted and there still fail.  I stopped the Windows system and did a thorough relocation of the entire network and cable USB, just on the off chance that I was getting an intermittent failure, but the backup has failed yet after that I did the reboot.

  Here is a typical error log showing the messages of Retrospect when a failure occurs (with more compressed white space):

  Since these backups had worked well in the past, I decided to see if the recent patch for KB3011780 could cause problems.  I removed the patch and restarted the Retrospect backup.  He ran to the end without any problem.  To confirm that the patch was probably the cause of the breakdowns, I restarted the recycling backup early, which causes the entire contents of my drive (c :)) system, a process that takes several hours of IO intensive network backup.  It finished without any problems.

  I don't know enough about the technicalities of Retrospect how its I/O across the network to the StorCenter NAS but I guess it's using normal file system operations any.  He does know that it is a device in a network, and not a local device.  But obviously, the network i/o fails and removed KB3011780 (and do anything else that the reboot of the system required and then by restarting the program backup) fact errors disappear.

  I removed the patch from two other systems that make backups on my NAS and hidden on each of them.  So far, I saw no problems with it on any of our other Windows 7 systems.

  Reported problems with this update, it is not impacting each user win7

  Since this is a secondary drive chkdsk/r can be run without having to reboot.   Close all the programs that can access training and and when you run chkdsk say yes to "remove this volume first...". ».  This will cause no harm.  Although not strictly necessary, I recommend you to reboot once completed the disk check.   This will solve any problem related to the file handles.
