  In my opinion, you should contact Toshiba service to verify your TV.

  I am rewriting code of LV7 LabView with the 2009 version.  The old code has a vi called "IA waveform scan.vi" and it allows the user to specify the DAQ hardware and also select channels by simply enumerating as numbers (0,1,2,5,6 etc.) in a channel of the front input box.  I understood how to create something similar to 2009 using daqmx channel, but I list the channels like this: dev1\ai1, dev1\ai2, etc.  Is it possible to choose a figure like LV7?  From what I've read, I think it is, but I have been unable to make it work.  Thank you.

  I understand your question, but I don't understand why a list with ai1, ai2, ai0, etc., is so difficult to understand. In any case, its easy to convert numeric values Plains actual channel names.   as long as you have the AdvancedAnalysisLibrary there are three related functions for nonlinear curve fit:

  NonLinearFit (-);

  NonLinearFitWithMaxIters (, 100);

  NonLinearFitWithWeight (, 100);

  the last two offer more options than the first.

  If you do not have this library (i.e. the full version of the CVI instead of the basic version), you can use the following implementation of Levenberg-Marquardt:http://www.ics.forth.gr/~lourakis/levmar/

  Hi Sara,.

  I guess you want to interactively reduction. First select the DIAdem ANALYSIS. To create a new weather channel choose channel functions > Generate digital channel and enter the start value, end value and 60,000 for the number of values. To resample your existing y channel choose Curve Fitting > linear mapping and enter your 'old' x and y channel and your new channel time (LinearGenerated) as the channel of the interpolation.

• NiDAQmx limits the maximum number of analog samples which can be read / buffer?

  I try all the time on a USB-6363 to 1000 Hz 2 channels analog samples.  Everything works until I have started to increase the number of samples to read only once in DAQmxReadAnalogF64().

  I have set up the buffer in DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming() like twice the amount of samples, I want to read at some point.

  Up to about 8000 samples (128 000 bytes: sizeof (double) x 8000 x 2ch) it works and read call returns without delay once all about 8 seconds.  Increasing the number of samples other than that, I can no longer read the data (the DAQmxReadAnalogF64() always holler times).

  Question: am I running in a limit on the maximum number of samples that can be read or buffered... maybe a DMA limit any?  What determines how big you can make the buffer in DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming()?

  Maybe it's not obvious, according to the documentation, but if you look at the output value of the parameter samples per channel function DAQmxReadAnalogF64 reading, you'll see that when it times out, he reads what was available when it has expired. So if you're always calling this function, and your timeout value is too short, then you'll always be timeout, but you will always catch all samples. You can view this as the function will return when the buffer is full, or the timeout is reached. That's why we have provided an exit indicating the number of samples read.

  As a general rule, ask not read like this with DAQmx. I would recommend registering a callback for EveryNSamples (there is an example that's bundled with the CVI on how to do this), or by specifying a longer period than what it will take to gather real that many samples (in your case, 8000 samples at 1 kHz would be > 8 seconds). The main problem with the polling stations with a short time-out is that you should ignore errors that is not recommended.

  I'm busy with the NI 6509 USB device simulation, my goal is to configure 6 ports (48 lines) as input, and the other port 6 as output and display the result on the front panel, as an array of Boolean 1 d of 48 read and write lines, where I can switch the switches to write data is 1 line or port or 48 all lines at once and read the result on the Boolean LEDS or 1 line or port, or all the 48 lines at a time.

  I am aware that I have the USB-6509 physical device to read the entry by connecting the output to the input by using cables or accessories that shipped with, but my only worries were:

  (1) when I ran the simulation I can write values as binary numbers, but in what order are they written to ports or bloodlines, it is first LSB or MSB wrt to the line 0/0 Port device.

  (2) because the outlet may not be connected to the input of thought software, the values written will be the same, or read in the same order (MSB first etc) during a test physically because when I ran the simulation, the entrance was just read (counting in binary values left most bit first of all, from line to line on a per port basis.) Is it by default a counter entry when there is no hardware connected and if that is the case why he should count or read values through three ports (line0_32 etc) IE it relies on all ports of three at a time for example [11111110 11111110 1111110] to 255 decimal. If it should not be [11111110 00000000 00000000] and then rolls over nests port if the first port is full with [11111111].

  (3) is it possible to write or read from 6 ports (48lines) at a time and see the result in a 1 D array (48 LEDS 1row) boolean or otherwise because in the VI/o device, you can select a maximum of 4 ports (lines0_32) at a time and if you have read/write and display more than 32 lines both how you do it.

  Why can't OR add a polymorphic VI of read/write which can read or write up to 96 lines in the case of devices OR-6509.

  Thanks for the idea.

  What I meant by 'Device of e/s VI'; is the physical "DAQmx channel" function on the front panel, where you can select a line or port or the lines_0-32, etc. to be entered or output of a device.

  I was tyring to say you are limited to the fixed option to Select in the drop-down arrow a maximum of 32 lines to write or read at the same time , but it is possible to read/write 32-bit morethan by selecting a line or port in turn to amount to more than 32 lines.

  In other words, there are a no options to select or configure lines_0-48 or 96-lines_0 to perform operations of read/write in a move even if it can be done by selecting each line or port or a maximum of 32 lines at a time.

• Scripting - change existing polymorpic vi - dependencies problem

  I wrote a nice little tool using scripts to make it less time consuming to create polymorphic screws for my libraries and functional global / action of the wrappers of engine to make an interface for the object/data features «»  I hated having to click "Change name" for each individual VI selected and hated not being able to add more than one VI both to the list.

  I had this basis create works beautifully, same parameters such as 'Show Polymorhpic VI versus Instance icon' setting works correctly.

  What is my confusion is now trying to add another VI to the list for an already created polymorphic VI.  The reference to the opening Poly is not question, adding to list screws is apparently not a problem - the problem comes when I try to import strings for the VI Edit Menu and the selector strings - the format string is perfectly fine, but when I check the VI he uses not the settings where they are imported from the file String - when I used the Invoke the PolyVI method - get the dependencies of VI and checl paths of dependence - the path returned for the new added Subvi is that previous VI - which seems not to be confused with the settings loaded by the import of channels function.

  It doesn't seem to be a way to change the dependencies of the VI polymorhpic, only the GET is exposed...

  What I do is take a reference to the VI opened and cast on polymorphic, then using the same script 'New object VI' node to add the new VI to the Poly VI - in the same way the original VI is built.  The only difference is that for a new VI, I use the script 'New VI' node to create the Poly VI reference and typecast as polymorphic.  Channels of export and import works perfectly to change the names of Menu and selector in this instance.

  I don't really expect an answer to come because this is the kind of a niche - just thought I'd throw it out there.  I can always use the built in editor VI Polymorhic add new screws to the list.

  But this doesn't:

  

• Problem with end of line in the text file.

  Using LabVIEW 2010 on W7 64 bit in the USA.

  I have an application in which I write in a text file.  I use the function "Write to a text file" to write the text and "Reading a text file" function to read again.  My problem is with the end of line character.  The text that I write is a long chain, not an array of strings.  While building this chain, I insert the constant EOL of the palette of channels function to indicate that a new line is planned.  My tests showed this EOL constant values of consecutive bytes 13 and 10.  After writing all the text in a file, I can open the file with Notepad, or Word, or something else, and it is displayed correctly.  When I read he returned with the function of text file reading, I'm trying to parse the string by searching for the same constant EOL, but it does not work.  A closer examination of the extracted string from the file reveals that the value of end of LIFE has changed for only 10.  The location of the byte to 13 disappeared.  I know there is a note on the writing of the function of text file add/change the EOL characters, which are the default values of the system, but the note specific tables.  I manually put the value in the string.  Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

  The function converts all characters in end of line break characters online platform, dependent unless you right-click the function and remove the check mark next to the menu item Convert EOL .

  Right-click your reading and uncheck the EOL conversion.  I recommend to do the same thing to your writing to text file feature.

• Import the chain programmatically to reentrant VI

  I'm working on a multi-language application that includes a reentrant VI. I managed to import a file of strings not reentrant screw, but seem to have problems with import of channels in a reentrant VI. I'm basically calling the VI environment dynamically in a loop (opened VI ref, import a file string, run VI). The first iteration is error-free, but after that it returns the error code 1000.

  I know that the import of channels function does not run when the VI works and that's why I get this error, but my VI is returning and a set of pre-allocate clone for each instance. This behavior is expected when using the import of channels function while repeatedly calling a reentrant VI? If so, is there a work around this issue?

• 10-bit using in Photoshop CC monitor

  I just bought impressive NEC PA272W monitor and I would use 10 bits/channel function in Photoshop.

  At first, I struggled to take the gradient test. I checked the video card drivers, display port connection, but limit gradient disappeared only when the test colors have been activated in Photoshop. It seems Photoshop version CC active 30-bit output in this regime.

  Should I use colors to test each time to make full use of the possibilities of monitor?

  My files are 16 bit AdobeRGB and monitor has been calibrated for AdobeRGB space, but for some reason any colors to test with AdobeRGB applied profiles causes shifts of color in the images. What is the reason for such behavior? Should I use another profile for test colors?
