• Text entry box does not show all the text

  I'm creating a simple exercise where I want the user to copy text from the course, paste into word and report back what the number of words.  I thought that perhaps the text entry box would be the best way to go, since if you click the text (the default), you can copy it.  However after I place the paragraph of the text in the box and resize in the editor, until all of the text shows, it does not show all the text during playback is previewd or published.  It only shows the last words of the last row in the upper part of the box.

  Is there something that I am missing?  Or, is there a more easy/better way to do what I need?

  If it Captivate 4, there may be no need of a widget to do this. I'm guessing that you haven't tried allowing the scroll bar for the text of the entry (TEB) box?

  When I just plop a TEB on a blade, I get this in edit mode:

  But if I change the TEB properties and select the Show scrollbar option:

• Master Page does not work for the text block

  What I am doing wrong?

  I create a master page.

  It's a given size, 6 X 9

  It has a margin.

  It has a text box with a heading for chapter headings.

  So far so good.

  At least I have substitute her in the following pages, it seems fine.

  However.

  I want a footer (for page numbers) so that I place a footer on the bottom.  Let's say it's an inch of height.  Right now it has nothing in it.

  I want a block of text that falls between the header and the footer, so I can run inside without having it encroach on header or footer.

  The header seems protected.  But.

  No matter how much I try and do all that I do, "foot" does not appear on the following pages.  Nor does the text box.  The header area is "taken", but the rest of the page is at stake.  Not "foot".

  Help, please.  It's driving me crazy.

  Thanks, Willi.  I thought about it.  Sometimes I'm so tired of banging my fool head against a wall.  I wanted to have coherent text blocks in my pages.  I didn't think I didn't NEED them.  The footer has appeared in the following pages as soon as I put SOMETHING in the chassis.  A variable.  When it is empty, the space is considered as unoccupied.  Duhhhh.  Time to go to sleep!

• pictures page Firefox does not only show the text and links

  New office (not this one) with windows 8.1 Pro, 29 of Firefox, Norton Internet security. When I go to a lot of these images of pages of Firefox are not displayed, only the text and links. This is true for the addons page of 'get '. I can search for Add-ons, but when I try to install one, the installation fails. Will there be a security setting in windows or NIS blocking facilities as well as images of Firefox? Installing Firefox went well without error. Other sites do not have this problem.

  Another user has reported that this was due to a problem of time system. In particular, the date and time is correct, but day was set a day earlier. You can see that?

  Cannot open the view youtube. The plug-in module did open in simplified display only some images. Why?

• FrameMaker does not show where the text or objects are selected via Extendscript

  I have a few Extendscript who opens a document, locates a chart and selects. The picture is selected, as shown by the image details showing in the properties of the object. Problem is that Framemaker does not scroll the window to see the selection.

  So far, the only way that I could get from Framemaker to jump at the right place is by selecting the text in the chart, then using my keyboard I press the arrow keys to navigate to the location. Then I manually select the chart. It worked for our needs at the beginning, but now for other scripts, I really need to be able to have the image selected and visible on the screen.

  I even tried selecting the text around it, using fcodes to simulate arrow keys of the keyboard and then click on the chart, but Framemaker has not always up to date which part of the document he showed on the screen.

  It's my current function. Any thoughts?

  It should work.

• When I receive an SMS, the digital indicator does not appear on the text message icon. Why?

  Once I receive an SMS, it should be a digital display on the icon of the SMS application that displays the number of messages unread I received. This is not the case. So I am unable to see that I have received a message, I don't have the text application open. No idea why this is?

  Check the settings-> Notifications and see if the badge icon is enabled for this app.

  When the program runs, you expect the word "Hi" is displayed instead of 'Hello.' What actually happens is only the h comes up. I did it with the longer text and especially it doesn't show. Sometimes, to show anything. Sometimes here and there the letters appear.

• My computer does not start. The text on the screen is: Windows didn't start because the following file is missing or corrupted: \WINDOWS\system32\c_437.nls.

  I tried to boot from the system cd, but nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Forum.  The first thing you need to check is that your PC is set to boot from the CD.  The boot order is set in the BIOS and check the PC manufacturer for instructions on how to change it.  Once you are ready to start from the CD drive first, and then boot from the XP CD in Recovery Console.  This link explains how to start the recovery console: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654#3

  Once you start the recovery console, I would say the following two commands (links after the controls give explanations\instruction thereon) running.

  Chkdsk /r http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265 (the instructions explain running cmd on the start menu, you will not need to do this step)

  sfc/scannow http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747

• &. syntax does not step in the direction of page

  I created a branch on my page with the following attributes 98...

  Target = type creates a branch to the page in the application.

  P98_FROM_PAGE & page =.

  Arriving on page 98, I put hidden point P98_FROM_PAGE to & APP_PAGE_ID. (i.e. 62) through an interactive report link icon.  The value is used correctly, as evidenced through the visualization of the session state on page 98.

  When I delete a record on P98 I want to branch back to the calling page can be different depending where I came from.  If I use & P98_FROM_PAGE. then the generated URL has a "null" in the position of the page in the URL and brings me to the homepage?  If I hard code the page number (62) in the attribute of the branch Page then it works very well as expected.

  Is this a bug?  I'm sure that this was possible in older versions of APEX? !

  OK I found the problem.  You can only refer to an ELEMENT of APPLICATION not a page element to store the Id of page when referencing it in a branch.  It's new I'm sure!

• Style does not apply to the text in the preview or publish

  I created a character style to apply to the section headings in my subjects. The style is included in the file .css with the appropriate attributes. On the WYSIWYG component, everything seems perfect, but on the preview and after that I publish, the style has disappeared.

  I checked the file .css on the host server and it is as it should be (to the best of my knowledge). Is there anything else I could check to fix this?

  Hi Frank,.

  It's fading, but a bit faster than the bottom. Try it: do the fading in the longer time and you will see the discoloration on the text. I just checked.

  Alternative with more control: put the text into a legend of transparent text on top of the other button with background and apply an effect (0%) Alpha to 100% on this text.

• Any Composition AE (dynamic links) and a text does not appear in the first (CS4)

  I have an AE comp I did with a few credits a few weeks which was 20 seconds ago. Now, I go back to edit it - done long 52 seconds (Comp changed settings), I increased the length of each text box appears a little longer; then I also copy & paste a text layer and put it between the 2nd to last and the last layer of text.

  Then I go and copy/paste about five more layers that all go behind what I had before - in my AE comp I also put the other. I edited all the layers of copied text and type in all that much good.

  I have a background with text on top of that. The background is precomposed and then all text layers in the final composition.

  When I go to the first I see * some * of the changes immediately.

  When I go to the for first now to watch, all changes are applied until the last layer of text I've had since a few weeks ago - including all changes made to these layers as length, font and size, as well as the text layer, I put between the last and the 2nd to the last layer.

  But that's it - once the last layer before is played, no layers of text appear, but the background is perfectly well yet, everything as it should.

  In AE, it plays well and looks great.

  What I am doing wrong? How can show in AE but not first - if the background shows?

  I went to the AE and has one of the layers of this latter text to see what he would do in the body and he hid the background well, but the text still does not appear in the body but in AE.

• How to make text does not interfere with the rollover effects in the image below

  I have images that zoom slightly when the mouse passes over them, but I need a title text on them. When the mouse is over the text, it prevents the zoom effect doesn't happen.
