REGZA TV died after 2.5 years of use

I bought a TV LCD of Toshiba Regza 42RV500E 07/03/09 with a 2 year warranty.
I paid 4000 Ringgit for this product. Now, after only 2 years and 6 months that the TV is pleased to work.
I am totally dissatisfied in this respect and I am a very dissatisfied customer!
When a customer pays for a product 4000RM, it is supposed to last longer than 18 months!
I have of course no warranty left on the product, but it seems very strange that TV breakdown so soon after the 2-year warranty, it's almost normal!
I now write about how bad Toshiba TV are on my blog, Facebook, web forums I'm member and will spend more time for the rest of my life telling friends and family NOT to buy Toshiba.
I will NEVER buy Toshiba again!

I have a 4 years of Toshiba LCD and it s still works correctly.
One of my friends had a LCD TV of another manufacturing and this TV worked for 1.5 years only
But the guarantee has brought on this topic because it was still valid. This is a 2 year warranty.

So as you can see, a material can always start to malfunction, and in most cases it s not great difference which manufacturer it is.

By the way; I bought an extended warranty in addition to my Toshiba TV in case that something would go wrong

    As far as I know, this unit uses a Phoenix BIOS so you must press the F2 key immediately after switching on. Press the "F2" key several times to make sure that the option has been enabled.
