  N ° it won't rebuild the catalog. Your categories, tags, etc. will remain safe.

  PS If you use PSE on Mac, DO NOT check the option to remove preferences. They remain on the computer, otherwise you must provide the path of the catalog again at the launch of PSE.

  This meant that it was the version associated with the .dng files and others instead of PES 11.

  So now I can use PSE 14 for most of my image editing and retreating to PES 11 for Photomerge panoramas that IMHO it handles better.

  Check your installed programs and so PES 9 is listed, uninstall it by using uninstall.

  Then clean by http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

  This Image capture program is really good. I didn't know I had it. you just go to publicize and search "image capture" on your mac. It has more features that I made.

  including the size of resolution and scan scan. Once the latter is analysed, a window opens with the new file in there. just, you double-click the file and opens right in photoshop elements.

• How to rebuild my PSE catalog on a new hard drive?

  I had my crash of hard disk on me and I'm now trying to reinstall PSE 11 and I cannot understand how to rebuild my catalog? I carbonite, so I have access to all my old files and I thought I could just copy to ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\ ' Catalog' folder, but when I open PSE I get the error that the catalog is corrupted. No idea how I can save my catalog? Thank you!

  OK, I think I figured this out. A new installation of PSE11, open the program and go to manage catalogs. From there select "Custom location" and browse to the location of your old catalog. Then select move to catalogues accessible by all users. That looks like it did the trick (fingers crossed).

• 12 - elements empty auto Analyzer options after reinstall

  My item editor was crashing everytime I open a new file.  So I reinstalled PSE 12.  After the reinstallation, analizer auto options are missing in the dialog box.  See this screen capture.

  Hi, I'm having trouble installing PSE 8 on Mountain Lion. It has worked very well on Lion, then I upgraded to ML, and it does not open. I deleted and tried to reinstall PSE 8 and have not gotten beyond the "Progress" pane with a message that "a required component is not properly install ', with the error:

  I tried a bunch of different things; Run the cleanup tool cs, disable my antivirus, repair disk permissions, restarted my computer and deleting all the files Adobe of these places:

  I looked a little more into the question of fixing, and it turns out I missed the top-level library > Application Support > Adobe folder. Once that was removed, my problem was solved.
