  If you perform a "clean" of Windows 7 Home Premium installation, you will need to buy Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Someone else using Windows 7 disk is not allowed under the terms of the license Microsoft Softrware.

(Well, I guess, that there is a way if you can determine the MD5 checksum and compare it to the checksum MD5 of the real McCoy.)

  Note that formatting the drive and reinstalling WIndows are a very bad approach to address any problem. What makes you think you need to do this?
