Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 will synchronize is more on mobile

Hello

I'm having a problem, try to synchronize the different features of WIndows Mobile with my PC.  I have WMDC 6.1 installed on a WIndows 7 64-bit machine.  When I place a device in its cradle, WMDC returns an error "FAILED.  Windows Mobile device - this device cannot start code 10 ".
On the device, I see a message "Connect to USB - authenticated user" but cannot connect to my PC.

I tried this on a clean install of PC (Windows 7) with no updates of windows and it works fine.  Everyone comes through this?  Any idea what windows update breaks my sync?

Thank you

When it starts, I get a BootMagic screen that allows me to choose the normal Windows operating system or partition DOS6. The next screen is text offering choices such as: Safe Mode, last known good Windows, normal windows, etc. None of the choices do something else that restart the boot process.
I have backups of the C: drive in real Image files and ntbackup. I would like to make a bootable cd or dvd with the files needed to be able to copy the data on another dvd or on the local network to another computer. This computer was made by the gateway. No real installation CD were provided, just a "operating system Disk' which is of no use. The disk has been partitioned as C: D: K: etc. I added a 40 GB IDE drive, which is where half the data is I want back. I can 'see' readers when I boot from an old CD disk to Image, but may not see the LAN or write in the CD burner. Basically, should what files I put on a cd to boot?

Well, almost a month since the gateway computer's dead, and I do not have anything on it. Spent a lot more time for the new computer with Windows 7 to run my most used programs: WordPerfect and Lotus 1-2-3. According to me, that you gave me a choice when I reinstalled Windows 7 to use either 64 or 32-bit. If I had a choice, it is 64. At this point, I wish I had chosen 32, due to all the incompatibilities resulting in 64. I doubt that there are real benefits for me. One thing they point out is his ability to deal with > 4 GB of RAM. This computer has 2.

What I installed was XP HP discs received with a laptop period of 2002. Probably violates some policy Windows, but my rationalization was that bridge should have on giving me the opportunity to re - install the Windows XP Media Center edition. I prefer to get this OS works because it has a smooth operation built in encryption system.
I tried to use the provided gateway recovery cd again, but not long after starting it fails with a 'memory overflow, please insert another disk' message. Gateway support has not been cooperative, so I can try again. I think that they have it for me.

The XP system is running on a 40 GB IDE drive that I had added to the computer. There are too many error messages trying to install an operating system on theoriginal 250 GB SATA drive. Usually the installation of software did not see the SATA drive. He is currently disconnected. It work pretty well in the new computer from HP in the 2nd SATA slot for to retrieve me my data.

  • How to get Windows Mobile Device Center to launch a mobile device is connected to the computer?

Does anyone know how get REALLY WMDC to launch (actually not supposed to) - when a mobile device (MC9090) is connected to the system?

(Or maybe suggest a request for REPLACEMENT for WMDC - preferably one who "works" with a little more frequency)?

So far, I tried (many times):

    • Uninstall/reinstall of Windows Mobile Device Center
    • Uninstalling Windows Mobile remote adapter (when checked ENABLE ADVANCE NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY)
    • Uninstall the USB Sync symbol (when ENABLE ADVANCE NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY not verified)
    • Reinstalling WINDOWS 7
    • Using different USB ports
    • Disconnection/connection of device (MC9090)
    • The device and different cradle

I'm running WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE x 64.  At some point, the WMDC auto-lancé when the device has been connected - until a few days ago.  Since that time - nothing!

I lost a couple of weeks on this issue, and this delayed my mobile application development!

  • Windows Mobile Device Center synchronization problem

I recently developed a problem syncing my phone Windows Mobile 6.1 with Vista 64-bit Home Premium WMDC.  I would appreciate any idea or a reference to help me solve it.  I'll give you only a capsule summary chronological here to keep this short note.

-There are synchronization three weeks was normal.  No change in system done other that what is described below.
-Signed with the local provider (Comcast) for Exchange and Sharepoint hosting services.  They ran an installation script that changed by the Outlook 2007 adding the exchange server profile and who knows what else.
-Phone sync is no longer with the PC; only with their Exchange Server.  They claim that they did nothing to make (their inventory of skills for Windows Mobile does not exist).  WMDC still sees the phone as a guest.
-Spent the weeks then 2 + talk with Comcast level 3 troubleshooting, manufacturer (HTC) phone and cellular service provider (Sprint).  All to various help desk levels.  I spent a lot of time searching for answers on various blogs and other credible sites for answers.
-Journal of phone calls said that the error is 0x8503001f which says that my profiles are out of sync.
-One of these help professionals tells me its something to do with my user.sdf file.  This file is not present on my PC.
-Sent in notice of cancellation to Comcast, which is still in the queue for processing.
-Sprint technical support abandoned and sent me a replacement phone.
-New phone has the same problem.  The problem is clearly with WMDC, file or a registry problem.  Utilities that I find on the internet for the problem works only with 32-bit operating system.
-J' tried to uninstall and reinstall WMDC and the other fixes I found on TechNet and other Windows Mobile sites.  Nothing works.

I'm not a developer, but I'm a power user who is used to run organizations, so I'll have intelligent conversations with these people.  They are perplexed and so I am.

  • Windows Mobile Device Center doesn't sync windows mobile 2003 SE, with the PC running Windows 7 Ultimate and Outlook 2013

I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 64 bit ultimate i5 machine. I installed Windows Mobile Device Center to synchronize my PDA Axium Dell x50v running Windows Mobile 2003 second edition with Outlook 2013 that runs on the PC.

Previously, I ran Windows Xp Pro with Outlook 2007 and was able to update using ActiveSync 4.5.

Unfortunately WMDC will only allow me to synchronize favorites, and files, as the boxes to check for synchronization of Contacts, calendar, Email, tasks and Notes cannot be verified. When you try to do, I get the message, "Outlook has not been installed.

Outlook is installed and works perfectly!

  • I can't install Windows Mobile Device Center

I had a lot of trouble with my Sprint HTC Mogul synchronization with my computer which is Vista (32).  Windows Mobile Device Center has been not to recognize my phone when I plugged it up (USB work).  He used to work in the past, so I uninstalled WMDC and tried to reinstall it and now I have nothing.  Now, I'm learning (always after I make a mistake) that WMDC is an integral part of Vista.  How can I reinstall vista components?  A secondary issue, I tried to install WMDC directly from the CD that came with my phone and it says I need Adobe Flash 8.0 or higher.  I have Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X(which I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times).  Whenever I connect my phone to the computer what he claims to have correctly installed the driver software, but when I look in programs of this isn't there!

I need to back WMDC on my computer until I can solve the problem of synchronization.  Help!

YOU MUST of FIRST GET YOUR PROVIDER FOR THIS DOWNLOAD ON YOUR PHONE, MY PROVIDER has ROGERS so IT WAS RELATIVELY EASY AND maybe ROGERS IS who I TALKED WITH AND DOWNLOADED BUT YOU FIRST to GET YOUR PROVIDER to DOWNLOAD ALL of THE PLACES that they have DOWNLOAD to YOU AND THEN SOUND JUST INSTALL in SEQUENCE. Good luck!!

  • Not able to install Windows mobile device Center 6.1 in the context of the system

    Hi all

We are not able to install Windows Mobile device Center 6.1 in the context of the system. We have only 2 options to install any application via SCCM. (1) user, 2) system context. In the context of the user, we will not be able to install the application and system installation of context is a failure. Exe installs fine when we run as admin, but we do not have admin context option in SCCM 2012. Please confirm that we have any other new exe or we can not install in the system context.

  • Installation of Windows Mobile Device Center in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I had been Active Sync with my Palm Treo.  I bought a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. So I downloaded and tried to install drvupdate - amd64.exe, the 64-bit version of Windows Mobile Device Center for my AMD Athlon II X 2 2.7 GHz e-machine.  By running the installation program, it seems to make progress and then in the Middle, it seems reverse-the remaining time runs backward, and the installation Bar starts going right to left rather then from left to right.  I get no explanation, no code error and no results.  Windows Mobile Device Center is not in my list of installed programs.  I don't think to close my anti-virus programs.  How can I install Windows Mobile Device Center 64?

Thank you.  Before I had this message, I got the WMDC installed by stopping antivirus, Carbonite and uninsralling law service programs!  I am not sure that I had to do the latter, but I thought that the law! Outlook may have hurt service.  However, I will use the set of instructions that you gave me for a problem with separate installation that I am now known (Office 2003 SP3).
