"Reinstall windows xp home edition__\i386\biosinfo.inf could not be loaded."
OP: reinstall windows xp home edition
I am trying to Setup. I changed the BIOS to read the CD of resettlement (never been used). I pressed F2 when starting and then "press any key to boot from the CD-ROM. I'm sure I did it correctly, as I did a Windows XP reinstall on another computer before with no problems.
Anyway, then I get this message:
File \i386\biosinfo.inf could not be loaded. The error code is 47872. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.
What is the problem and how do I get to the installation?
see if it will let you enter the recovery console, This will tell you how (option 2)
When you get the recovery console, type 'copy c:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\biosinfo.inf c:\WINDOWS\inf' without the qoutes. There should be a space between the copy and the c: and the first destination (at the end of the inf of the first part) and the second (just before the c: of the second) another one, all this should be no space. If that doesn't take care of the problem, then heres how do the installation of repair you asked

Cannot load windows xp because the \i386\ntkrnlmp file could not be loaded. How can I fix it so I can use the computer?
Hi RIVTOM,
· Remember to make changes?
· Can you start in safe mode?
The error you mentioned could be either because of incorrect settings basic input/output system (BIOS) or a faulty memory random access (RAM).
Method 1: Restore the default BIOS settings and see if it helps. Consult the manual or manufacturer to do so.
Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.
Method 2: If you understand and are confident the material processing of the computer, and then remove the two RAM modules, noting that slot is used for the module in which, clean the electrical contacts on the modules.
Replace the first module (if there is more than one) take precautions attempt to restart your machine with just the module of memory installed, see how you go. Do the same with the other module (as applicable).

Upgrading to Windows 7: compatibility of the device data could not be loaded
I tried to upgrade my L300 (and otherwise my P300) from Vista to Win 7 with two DVDs of upgrade provided by Toshiba end 2009. I followed all the instructions, as to recover the system to the State of delivery, deletion of outdated drivers and install new drivers with the DVD driver. But when I insert the Win 7 DVD and start the installation, I soon get the following (originally in German) error message:
"The device compatibility data could not be loaded. Error code 0x1F.*.
German support Toshiba could not answer my question so far, then I wonder what is the problem and how do I get my installation is going. It's kind of frustrating after paying for the upgrade DVD, but the installation does not work.
Thanks in advance for any help on this error. And after a year using it for the first time now, right?

You can clean your system by using the disk cleanup utility (i.e. remove unwanted files from the system). I suggest you return the item mentioned below.

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?
Hi KevinRy,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
Unplug all external devices.
Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.
Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:
1.
Right-click my computerand then click Properties.
2.
Click the Advanced tab.
3.
Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.
4.
Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.
5.
Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.
Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.
Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.
Kind regards
Amal-Microsoft Support.
