Reinstallation of applications

So, I accidentally (don't ask how) uninstalled an application preinstalled (AVG Antivirus pro). Is there a way to get it back? Other than to restore the phone to factory of course. AVG antivirus pro fresh $15,99, so I'd rather not spend the money given was already on the Z3 at first.

    You can change the installation location through the desktop Adobe CC application.

    Click the gear on the top icon right > select Preferences > section under the creative cloud, you can set the installation location.

    Try the following.

    Hold down the Windows key and press R

    In the run box, type regedit and press enter

    In the registry editor, navigate to the following

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

    Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

    If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

    Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

    Close the registry editor.

    Make the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now kept after a reboot.

  • How to reinstall the applications Photos and music

    Long story.  I have two problems that seem to be related.  The second is the reason for this post.  For background, Christmas day, several Windows updates have been downloaded and installed, but 2 failed.  The device is a R/T Area2.

    Now, my reason for being here.  Since that time many, but not all, Metro/modern apps will not work.  It comes to Mail, calendar, Contacts, more of MSN with Photos and OneDrive applications. The start screen appears and then goes away.  After spending a lot of time with the Support of Microsoft, the only solution seems to be to reinstall these applications.  It worked for the most part for example Mail and MSN applications, but for Photos and OneDrive I have a problem I can not uninstall, this isn't an option.

    I hope that someone here has a solution.  Is there a way to force the reinstallation of applications such as these?

    I came to the conclusion that an update was my best option.  It took a long time to clear enough space on my drive but, finally, managed to do run.

    Now, it seems that OneDrive is the only app that crashes.  Not too bad.

    Please reset the Bridge preferences and then check if that helps.

    Measures

    Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

    Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

    Soniablanco please try to remove the following directories from users / Library/Application Support/Adobe

    • AAMUpdater
    • OOBE

    Please make sure that you are in the library folder of the user rather than the main folder of the library.  Remove these files in/Library/Application Support / Adobe / will require a reinstallation of applications to recover the files.

    It appears at the end of the installation, but when my login screen is displayed, it shows only one account, administrator and request a password. I have not configured any accounts when I did the installation and you do not have a password. I tried to enter without password, using admin as password and check-in safe mode did not help - it still asked for a password.

    I don't know if the two problems are related or not.

    Please, review the vminst.log file located in % TEMP and see if we could see related errors.  Otherwise follow the troubleshooting steps below;

    1. check that the guest operating system that you want to install VMware Tools is fully certified.

    2. check that the correct guest operating system is selected

    3. check that the good ISO image is loaded. For more information, see ensuring good ISO image VMware tools is loaded (1003910).

    4. check that the VMware Tools ISO image has not been damaged. For more information, see determine if your VMware Tools ISO image is damaged on a host ESX/ESXi (1004820).

Checked the date and version of the DLL runtime on the target PC, I found that they differ runtime DLLS that have been installed with my application using the distribution kit. After the reinstallation of the application, there was more no new error event log entries, so this solves the problem :-)

    Only, I wonder where these DLLs from...
