  Help! I restored my computer to OSX Maverick, 'after' update to the latest version. To discover my printer did not work with the latest version of mac. With the help of Apple, I went back to the earlier version, Maverick. In doing so, I lost my purchased program Adobe Photoshop CS5. Now, I can't reinstall Adobe Photoshop. I tried all 3 days.

  After having reactivated Photoshop Elements 9, updates not possible not of are: every time on indicates to me that there was a mistake and fur but the itself chose then. Yet before you reinstall my software, I had first disabled and I reactivated it after reinstalling. I reinstalled it on the same PC do I just back up the system after having reformatted the drive hard because I want to give this PC to a member of my family. Help would be siltl. Thank you!

  Photoshop elements 9 cannot e b updated no more, you can just install, activate & work on it. The latest version is PSE 14.

  When I bought my PC, I got Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements pre-installed on it.  Now, hard drive should my PC be replaced and I was wondering if I could reinstall and re - activate Photoshop and first if they have been recorded with my Adobe ID

  You need the original packaging for the product disc. If you downloaded the original serial numbers are normally contained in an e-mail.

  I've recently updated my computer to a new MacBook Pro OS x photo editing 10.10.1. Reinstalled photoshop CS5 and code submitted product. Photoshop will open and run, but some commands, specifically print orders or changes to the print settings causes the program to quit. I have looked on several forums and advice re: reloading photoshop among others, but could not get anything to change.

  Question 1: is there anything in the that updates to CS5 to make it compatible with the latest OS X update?

  Question 2: Why is there not an option on adobes site to submit a question to technical support? All other software manufacturers that I care gives you the opportunity to submit questions to their support staff.

  Any help would be appreciated in get my software to work correctly again.

  Tried to send a reply over redirect, but couldn't find a way to do it. I had some suggestions to try, but in the meantime has noticed that there are updates of OS X and cs5 who had not been there earlier. Once I made the updates, it solved the problem I had. Thank you much for the help... If you want or can post these to the thread, you are welcome to do so.

  I used Photoshop CS2 fr a while with success. However, I received this message. "the Adobe update could not be started. Reistall program. "Can I uninstall CS2 and reinstall without first contacting Adobe? I have my original program CD.

• Reinstallation of Photoshop 6 fails

  My computer crashed and I went to re-intall Photoshop 6.0.1.  In the start screen, I choose install Photoshop and nothing happens.  I get a message that Z:xxx is not available.

  I am running XP with service pack 3.

  Then I copied all installation files in a directory on the hard drive.  The same problem.

  Any ideas?

  In preparation for the FBI announced denial of service (Monday) using System Mechanic I disabled some services I thought were vulnerable.  But first I saved everything to another drive (network).

  The system will not re-start.  If the backup is an internal hard drive, I would have photographed to the boot drive.

  However, it was a network drive, so I reformatted the old drive and proceeded to reload the OS and everything.  There was therefore no drive Z: a mystery.

  However, I copied the contents of the directories backup program folder Photoshop and made a shortcut manually and now it all works.

  I have a new version of CS on my new machine heavy-duty 4 cpu, but this older machine is my horse battle and everything (was) configured so.

  Anyway, fixed a problem and I guess I cleaned stuff because if I didn't ' know what that this either on the backup drive I didn't charge it.

  'Back in the day' when the OS was small as were the apps that I used to have an external hard drive and do a fresh charge every day on the system drive and then disconnect the master drive.  He assured that virus / malware that got on board during a session have been cleaned overnight.  Unfortunately the OS and programs are so great that it would take hours (or more than a day) to make a full load.

  I had to do a reinstall of Photoshop CS4.  All my plugins are missing (OnOne, portrait, light factory, etc..).  What I have to reinstall the plugins or is there a way for Photoshop to recognize what is already installed on my computer (Windows 7).

  It will depend of each plugin. Many must be completely installed through their own setup program, while some are just a matter of copy the .8bf or similar to the right folder/sub-dossier.

  All with an installer, I would take the time to do it this way. Maybe the registry entries, or even other folders, which are necessary.

  In the "old days", just copy was about 85% OK, but times have changed.

  Well, a lot of things I can think of when you say that... But here's what you can try...

  Download windows or verisons them mac the program from here. Or if you have ordered the product from Adobe for download then sign in to your adobe account, and you will still be able to download it.

  Photoshop 2015.5 CC on Windows 10 x 64

  * When I open a pdf in photoshop: "could not apply the workspace because of a disk error."

  * When I want to save a project as a PDF: "cannot save as xxxx bacause of a disk error."

  -> I scanned my disk (SSD): no error

  -> I can record on all other formats without any problem

  -> I cleaned (perhaps too) since the temp folder and the appdata folder

  Maybe I have something removed from the temporary folder used by Photoshop to handle PDF queries, but I can't solve, even with a reinstallation of photoshop.

  I also reinstalled Adobe reader...

  Does anyone have an idea?

  I was looking for a solution to this as well. I found the answer here. The credit goes to Mohit Goyal, I wanted to just give you what I found.

  In recent days, Photoshop CS4 began to send me of dialog boxes "Could not complete your request because of a program error" whenever I try to open a non - PSD file. I can open PSD files very well, but if I try to open a JPG, PNG or GIF file, it gives me this dialog box and it does not open the file.

  • Photoshop CS4 11.0.2

  I tried the things:

  • Reinstallation of Photoshop
  • Remove my preferences folder (~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS4 settings /)
  • Deleting the file plist in Photoshop (~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Photoshop.plist)

  None of these things have worked so far. What else can I try to fix this? Thanks in advance.

  Please open the folder of the Application.

  Then open the Photoshop CS4 folder and right-click (Ctrl + click) on Photoshop CS4.app and select to display the contents of the package.

  Open the contents of the folder, and then MAC OS and then run Photoshop CS4.

  Once the application is open, please try opening the PSD files.

  As seen in the picture above, I have no idea how to solve this problem. I tried to look around, but I get no answer because I don't know what the problem is - I don't know how it's called. I also tried updating the drivers on this computer and re - install the software (Photoshop CC). Any help would be appreciated. This problem has been bothering me for a long time now and it has been that hinder my progress in several other works of art.

  Have you tried setting Mode to basic drawing?  Or if you want to use advanced, try disabling OpenCL (if not grayed out).

  Note: you must restart Photoshop after making the above changes.

  The HD7770 is pretty low-end.  What type of display are originally with her, and shows how?   I would say that the default value of 4 levels of cache would be a better choice for your system.

  What operating system?  I think that Windows 8 is likely a problem with the GPU acceleration.

  See the FAQ of GPU and as well as the steps above, take note of what he says on the sniffer of GPU.

  I can't see anything about resetting preferences in this thread.  You should try that even after reinstallation of Photoshop.  (Preferences > general tab in 2015 CC)
