  It will depend of each plugin. Many must be completely installed through their own setup program, while some are just a matter of copy the .8bf or similar to the right folder/sub-dossier.

  All with an installer, I would take the time to do it this way. Maybe the registry entries, or even other folders, which are necessary.

  In the "old days", just copy was about 85% OK, but times have changed.

  There are a lot of different ways, you can see things in the Finder that you might like, but there is also information on how to expand the 'Name' column too. The following article, well written for El Capitan still provides a basic concepts that apply to the Mavericks as well:

  If you are only interested to expand the column enough to know the names of files, here is what you will do.

  Resizing of columns: column and Cover Flow in the list view, drag the line between column headers.

  To develop a column to display the names of files in their entirety, double-click the column separator.

• I have problems with Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Windows 7 32-bit Professiol.

  This could be attributed to several factors such as conflicts between device drivers, applications, settings of operating system, hardware, and corrupt elements in specific files.

  Basic troubleshooting
  
  1. make sure that the computer meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop.
  2. install all Windows updates. .
  3 re-create the Photoshop preferences file.

  Re-create the Photoshop preferences file to eliminate problems that may cause a damaged Preferences file.

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files:

  1. quit Photoshop.
