Reinstalled Windows - can not find Bluetooth

Heya,

I want 7200 dv6t Quad Edition laptop and I recently installed Windows 8.1.

I can't find how to turn on bluetooth. Some things I can reduce to:

(1) I'm sure that this model comes with bluetooth (I think I remember using before, but not 100% sure).

I can't get the page of the form of this product, but I bought it directly from the HP site so if anyone finds the plug page would be great.

(2) I downloaded and installed the Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth driver and Ralink software Bluetooth driver I found on the HP website Support & downloads.

(3) I have not any mention of bluetooth in my device (generic or otherwise) Manager. Since the first appearance it seems I don't have bluetooth on my laptop, but again, I'm sure I have.

(4) I tried following this subject and this subject also

Attached screenshots that might help.

You are the very welcome.

The Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn 1 x 1 Wi - Fi adapter is not a card without wireless/bluetooth combination, so your specific build does not have built in bluetooth.

If you want to change the card to one that has bluetooth wireless, you can get one of these...

670290 001 Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230
690019 001 Atheros AR9565 1 x 1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 802.11b/g/n adapter combination
690020 001 RALink RT3290LE 1 x 1 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 adapter combination

  • «Windows can not find a driver...» »

I have a Brother HL-2140 connected to my Windows Vista-32 business PC via USB.  Big prints... it is shared.  I have a second PC under Windows Vista-32 business and installed the shared printer and it prints fine.  I have a laptop with Windows 7-64 Home Premium and I am trying to install the shared printer.  I downloaded all of the current drivers through the Brother's Web site and used two disks supplied with the printer (all operating systems on a disk) and Windows 7 as a disk separated.  I tried to install all versions of drivers to be sure.  I plugged the printer directly on the laptop and the printer prints very well.

When you try to install the shared printer, I physically point the right laptop *. INF file, but it always says that "Windows can't find a driver...". »

Just as a side note... Brother says on its website that the HL-2140 is compatible Windows 7.

I've seen a lot of posts that contains 7 and XP issues... but I have not found any post for 7-64, Vista-32 sharing.

    Thanks for any help!

It is possible there is a problem with your user account, you can try realizes another one with the admin rights to see if you receive the same error:

First try a System Restore and see if that helps your situation.  If you get to windows to do a system restore when you start start pressing F8 until you get the Windows startup options.  Then try "Last known good configuration" see if that helps and let us know.

  • Windows 7 can not find bluetooth, windows 10 can devices.

Then, I had this problem for several years now. I tried all possible solutions on the internet, but I can't do it. Bluetooth does not work on my Windows 7 64 bit. It's not fair. I have attached my bluetooth dongle. Windows installs the driver so that he (CSR Bluetooth Chip) and this is where my story ends. I never got beyond that point. It seems that I should be able to detect bluetooth devices now, but no, it isn't. There is no bluetooth on the PC option either. The only thing I can find is the driver in Device Manager. I can see that it is listed under Bluetooth radios. I see the dongle in devices and printers. When I right click on it, there is an option for Bluetooth settings. In these circles is a visibility option (this PC can be detected by other devices), but every time I check the box and click on apply, it gives me an error. I thought that was the problem, or it was something to do with the dongle.

BUT, then, I installed the Windows 10 Technical Preview. I saw the Bluetooth option. I thought I should try. I clicked on the button and immediately, I found all the bluetooth devices. It has never been easier.

I wonder, why does Windows 7 find my devices? As much as I have now, there is no button Bluetooth click on Windows 7. Yes, there's an add an option of the device, but it is not specific Bluetooth.

So, what occupies me here? I begin to suspect that somethings wrong with my Windows 7. There is no bluetooth option integrated at all? Please, I want to solve this problem, after all this time. Thank you in advance.

For the Bluetooth dongle, have you tried install any driver that was provided?

Windows 7 is a pretty old OS compared with Windows 10. In each version of Windows, Microsoft adds device drivers for various devices, as provided by the manufacturers, called the OEM. Windows 7 has some Bluetooth drivers and the generic drivers. Therefore, the device is getting detected as Bluetooth, but all features may not be used. So you see the dongle Bluetooth works in Windows 10, but not in Windows 7. The only solution is the installation of the drivers. If you do not have a driver disc, download the drivers from the manufacturer's website. Installation of the drivers, the problem will be solved.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before this problem?

This problem occurs if you install a non-Plug-and-Play device driver, but Windows cannot find the device. Here are some things you can try to solve this problem.
Step 1: Run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check.

If the Troubleshooting Wizard does not resolve the problem, do one of the following:

Step 2: If the device was removed, uninstall the driver, connect the device, and then click on Search the hardware changes to reinstall the driver in Device Manager.

Step 3: If the material was not removed, the driver files may be obsolete. In this case, update the driver in Device Manager. In the device properties dialog box, click the driver tab, and then click put to update driver to start the Upgrade Wizard to update the material. Follow the instructions to update the driver.
