reload photos after fresh reload windows

Hello

I just had to do a fresh install of Windows 10.

I reloaded Elements 9, but the pictures are not in the Organizer.  Restoration of the last back up (actually just before reinstalling windows) or search my computer?

If I restore the back upward, it copies all the photos on my computer?

Thanks for the help.

You format the hard drive?  Is the case then you have wiped all of your machine and your photos will not be on the machine.

Your best approach is to copy all your images from your backups to its usual location.  Windows 10 it is normally folders of photos, but there is no rule of cast on this subject.

Then you must import your catalog by launching PSe Organizer and then go to:

File > restore the catalog.

I hope this helps.

  • Try to connect to the wireless computer after freshly installed Windows says I am connected to the router, but I have no internet access

    Original title: connection problem

Hello! I recently did a clean installation of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and I use a wireless USB adapter. Windows says I am connected to the router, but I have no internet access, and I have this yellow on trinagle. Work of all my other Windows 7 PCs, but this one. Could someone help me? Thank you!

    Hello

Welcome to the community forums of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue. I see that you are unable to connect to the wireless network after you perform a new installation.

I suggest you to consult the steps described in the article:

    Method 1:

You can try the steps in the link and check.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

You can update the driver of windows 7 on the manufacturer's Web site.

    Method 2:

You can remove and re-create the wireless network connection, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl , and then press on Enter.
    b. right click on your wireless network connection and then click Properties.
    c. click the wireless networks tab.
    d. under preferred networks, click your Wireless
network and then click on remove. e. click on view Wireless networks.
    f. under management of the network, click refresh the network list.
    g. under Choose a wireless network, click the wireless network to which you want to connect, and then click Connect.

    Method 3:

If the steps above don't you can uninstall and reinstall the NIC drivers and check with the question.

    a. click on Start menu, in the Search tab type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

    b. right click on network adapters and click Uninstall and restart the computer.

    c. after rebooting, install network cards and check with the question.

    Method 4:

You can temporarily disable the antivirus and firewall on the computer and see if it helps:
    Enable or disable Windows Firewall
NOTE: Turn off Windows Firewall might make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.
You can see the following link to disable the Antivirus installed on your computer software.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks

Please follow these recommended steps and post if you still experience the problem. I'd be happy to help you further.

First, you must decide whether to buy Windows 7 as an upgrade CD or a full commercial license holder.  A full retail version costs more than a version upgrade.  However, if you buy Windows 7 with full commercial license, you will avoid potential problems, as there is certainly no need to re - install Win XP.

A clean install is always preferable to an upgrade, and in all cases, it is not possible to upgrade directly from Windows XP to Windows 7.  Even if you use a CD 'upgrade', you will need to perform a "Custom" or new installation of Windows 7.  A custom installation replaces not only Windows XP. It also replaces everything on the hard drive.

In the past, you can use a CD to upgrade - to perform a new installation of a newer operating system.  For example, if you inserted a CD with version upgrade of Windows XP, the process could find a precedent (and real installation of Windows 98).  If this search detected Windows 98, the CD would be upgrading Windows 98 to Windows XP.

If the search has not detected a previous installation of Windows 98 (on a new hard drive or recently formatted), it could prompt the user to insert his old CD of Windows 98.  After checking the validity of the Windows 98 CD, the CD 'upgrade' would continue the installation of Windows XP - as a new installation.

According to the Microsoft website, all editions of Windows XP are eligible for an upgrade to Windows 7 - so if you use Win XP on your PC, Microsoft recommends that you buy a package labeled "Upgrade".  However, I don't know if the previous procedure will allow you to perform a new installation of Windows 7 on a new hard drive.  If this isn't the case, you might need to reinstall and validate Windows XP first, simply to confirm your eligibility for the upgrade version.

  • Wipe the hard drive and reload Windows Vista

I want to wipe my hard drive and then reload Windows vista business 32-bit my original cd/dvd, what is the best way to do it and what does it save before I commit to such an action. I had a series of problems with my computer and the last correction process was the Iolo System Mechanic (that should come with warnings) which managed to destroy my windows installer. should record different programs of files, etc.

    Hello

To reinstall Vista using the recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

To reinstall from a Vista DVD from Microsoft, you change the Boot order and follow this information:

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html

As it was explained to you, you need to reinstall 3rd party programs from the original media (from CD, DVD, etc.)

And this method back up to an external hard drive your files, photos, music, documents, etc.:

  • How to: reload Windows Vista OP on my Toshiba LT!

I have a Toshiba Satellite P305 S8820. Last night after a reboot, it didn't start Windows (Vista).

I need help to find a solution to reload Windows Vista for my lieutenant an another LT (which I use) has Vista on it, is possible to copy Windows Vista operating systems it load in my LT?
I need the solution as close to free as possible!  I am broke seriously.
The MytechGurus and the number of 1800 said that you guys could send me the steps to take and how to install it.
So far there are no F8, it just goes to the Toshiba Logo where you can access F2 (Bios I think) and F12. Day and night, I tried everything I could think and search on google. Put the CD/DVD drive 1st in boot order (after trying to return to the default settings) with my Toshiba Recovery CD - it was useless. The Guru has said you must have the Windows Op CD, but Toshiba does not understand that! I also tried the 0 and R and C and nothing happens but the screen pretty empty after logo Toshiba (where windows is supposed to load) and then beeps to push the pesky buttons. I also tried Ctrl alt del and just becomes it works for the same process of death after the logo screen. I did the whole thing from the battery and the charger also.
    Basically, Windows does not start.
I'm not surprised, since Vista makes sometimes fragmentary, but its never been THIS bad.
    Please PLEASE please help me!
My life is on the LT model, seriously, and I need it back.

    Hello

You cannot copy files from Vista at the other toshiba to recharge your

If you have problems with the process of recovery of manufacturers, contact the manufacturer

It's their recovery process not microsofts

Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

    ____________________________________________________________

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

    __________________________________________________________

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • reloading windows 7 onrefurbished pc

I bought a pc refurbished about 2 years ago and came w/windows 7 Home premium loaded on it and a cd that shows "intended to be distributed with a pc rebuilt" and "includes service pack 1" and the 32-bit software"thereon. It seems that the hard drive could have gone wrong - could not have started at all. I tried to reboot from the cd to see if I could reinstall windows to see if that would fix the problem, but it asked me for drivers and seems it mightg not be on the cd - I was going to buy a hard drive to see if it is the problem (before spending g more information on a new pc, but I'm concerned ed that I mighrt not be able to reload windows 7 on a new hard drive) , I have not really way to n o to see what's on the cd, and if I can ' t reload the OS and then don't want to lose money.  no way to know if a new hard drive would be achievable as opposed to a new pc? Thank you

If you have a friend who has a DVD of "Retail" (full or upgrade), no matter if it Home Premium. Pro or Ultimate, but its best to use the version that corresponds to (you need not their product key) that your product key.

Then, download the device drivers (see the support site of the manufacture of PC for driver downloads for your serial number and model) and save on a thumb DRIVE or CD.

Assuming you were able to locate the support of device drivers and installation of a friend, and then if you have the money you can buy a new Solid State Drive to replace the old drive.

Now, you can try a free key installation (just 'Skip' part was it asks you to enter a key) and see if the installation is complete.

If you are successful, copy the drivers to your hard drive. After you have installed the device drivers, install the updates of Windows (in small groups of 10 or 20 at a time, save drivers IE11 and .NET Framework for the end).

Then, use your product key to activate Windows.

My computer is running very slowly - i7 (quad) 266 Mhz and Geforce 9800 GTX graphics card.  I had this computer for about a year.  The problems seemed to start about 3 months when I started to play a game - Empire Total war with Steam.  The computer ran more slow and more slowly, gradually.  I tried all the clean disk, speed up programs, he worked once for a few days and then become very slow.  Finally, I backed up my files and reformat the hard drive and reloaded windows 7.  My computer has nothing loaded except windows 7 and is always very slow! • Reloading Windows 7 on a new hard drive.

I recently installed Windows 7 Pro, my hard drive should now be replaced, what is the procedure once I replaced the hard drive, can I just reload windows 7?

Is this a full version or upgrade to Windows 7?

In order to install the Windows 7 upgrade version, you must have a system of eligible operating Windows installed and activated.  You cannot install a version upgrade of Windows 7 on a drive blank.  The installation procedure you do not insert a Windows disk in the drive for verification, eligible operating system must be installed.

If you do not have a qualification system of operating Windows installed with an activated genuine license, then you can not use the version upgrade of Windows 7 - you would need a license of Windows 7 "full version".

    In summary:

    1. a Windows operating system to eligible address must be installed.
    2. the Windows operating system to eligible address must have a genuine license (product key) and it must be enabled.
    3. to upgrade, boot on the eligible Windows desktop, insert the Windows 7 upgrade disc in the DVD player.
    4. when the menu appears, select custom (advanced option) to a clean install procedure.

You should be able to repair the installation, if your installation one fall. I suggest create you a System Image (backup) of your installation of Windows 7 after installation of Windows 7 in order to spare you the trouble if your computer one fall in the future.

You can work around this two ways, I would suggest that you create a System Image (backup) of your installation of Windows 7 after installation of Windows 7 in order to save you the trouble if your computer loses the system failure or instability. Since you are in possession of a valid license of Windows Vista for this computer, you can use the following method to do a clean install with upgrade support:

You can then re-enable by phone:

    Activate Windows 7 manually:
    1. click on start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    2. press enter on your keyboard

    3. Select your country.
    4. Select the telephone activation option and brace yourself for a real person.
