  This offer is not available in my country so I can't say with certainty how it works, but in General, recovery image contains trial version of an antivirus application preinstalled.
  If you don't want to use it just out of the system.

  What you can do is contact McAffe support and ask for help. You can also try is to download Mcafee Antivirus plus 2013 and check all the settings. I think there must be option for activation of the product.

  It turns out than if you change the startup type to "Automatic (delayed services start)" service OR McAffe plays more enjoyable.

So simply kept up to date OS X in most cases will run without problem for years. I HIGHLY recommend that you uninstall Norton by following instructions to uninstall Norton!

  That's what I'll try:
  Determine the folder of your profile through the troubleshooting information.
