cDAQ works correctly with Labview 2013?

I have already upgraded to the LV805 for Labview 2013 in an existing system that has the cDaq-9172, NI9205, NI9263, and NI 9403.

When executing NI MAX, it detects that cDAQ 9172 (chassis), but none of the cDAQ modules are detected.

When I open my application, the paths of the cDAQ doesn't appear in entry options, so when it works, and the error message.

I have SP1 2013 LV f2 and NEITHER-DAQmx 9.8

This is a known issue, or I have a configuration problem?

Help, please

Now, I have another problem.

When I turn on my PC cDAQ does not start automatically.

I have to go to services Windows and manually start OR Setup manager. Same startup is set to Automatic

Once I run it, cDAQ works correctly.

My company uses McAffe antivirus

Mine also.  (McAffe)

It turns out than if you change the startup type to "Automatic (delayed services start)" service OR McAffe plays more enjoyable.

I found that InKeySetFilter works correctly with filter that does not implement IndexAwareFilter.

    for example:

Yes, there seems to be a bug, if m_filter isn't an IndexAwareFilter, applyIndex returns null instead of return m_filter.

  • Software FPGA with LabVIEW 2013

I have a system with a rotating computer "development" under Windows 7 and an NI PXI-1036 chassis with a PXI-8101 controller as well as a card FPGA PXI-7853R. Recently, I upgraded to LabVIEW 2011-2013 of LabVIEW. I kept LabVIEW 2011 installed just to make sure everything is still working on the new LabVIEW.

Now, when I open my project in LabVIEW 2013 Project Explorer, my FPGA comes with a warning triangle yellow next to him (see attached photo). The warning says:

"Software support for this target FPGA is not installed on the computer. You can view and copy elements into the project, but you can not compile any screw under the FPGA target, until you install support for the target. Refer to the documentation of specific material for more information on the proper drivers and for more information about the installation and configuration of the target FPGA ".

Regarding the installed software, I have LabVIEW SP1 of 2013, 2013 of LabVIEW FPGA Module SP1, SP1 of Module 2013 LabVIEW Real-time, and Xilinx Compilation tools 14.4. On the chassis of the TARGET (with the PXI-8101 controller), I have attached a list of installed software.

Interestingly, when I open the project in LabView 2011, no errors or warnings are present with the FPGA card. It is only under LabVIEW 2013 I see the warning. Did anyone see a glaring omission of software that could be the cause of LabVIEW raise this error? Thank you for your help.

Best guess is that're missing you the driver for your FPGA device. Try to install the latest version of NOR-RIO (or at least the version supplied on your 2013 SP1 install disks). Have you installed device drivers at the time that you have installed SP1 2013 LabVIEW?

  • Table does not work correctly between LabView and TestStand

I'm doing a TestStand program that reads data from a LabView VI.

If I run the VI in LabView, it works perfectly well and generates a table with 18 points in length, the first 3 are numbers between 0 and 10 and the rest being-1 as I intended. Re-run the VI causes the re - initialize correctly and I get a new table that also meets my specifications.

When I run the VI of TestStand, it works fine once, producing a table with 18 points, the first 3 are numbers between 0 and 10, and the rest is-1.

If I run the VI in TestStand once again it increases the length of array in 18 each time. In so doing, it fails to write the new 3 numbers and just add - 1 in table 18 times. If I restart TestStand will work fine once more, he repeats the error if I re - run the VI. I don't understand why this is happening.

I have re-product the error in a separate VI and the order, and I have attached an example in this post. The VI contains all the necessary information (if not, please say so and I will correct it), and TestStand sequence is configured to put all results, I would find useful in the report (as additional results).

Your problem is your VI.   Specifically the comment nodes.  They initialize on the first call.  TestStand retains the VI in memory.  So when the VI is called again, the comments always nodes have their last value.  You will get the same results if you have VI your ArrayBuild.vi twice appealed.

The way you use the feedback nodes, they really replace with Shift Registers.  I like your comment nodes, but since you pass the value of the node in the loop, the SHIFT registers are much more appropriate.  Just make sure you initialize your Shift Registers.

  • Configure the cDAQ by programming with LabVIEW

I have a chassis cDAQ with two modules. I want to (for reasons peculiar, too complicated to enter in ) to be wheat to programmatically configure the MAX configuration for it. And I mean everything.

I need, in my LabVIEW application, to be able to tell MAX to wipe its current configuration, detect the chassis with the two modules, rename the chassis and two modules and create a lot of tasks.

I'm pretty sure I can create jobs by program, but I had little luck find info on reconfiguring hardware detected programmatically.

    Can it be done?

    Thoric,

The only way I know to rename the material without using MAX is to import a configuration file with new names for the same hardware.  One version of the configuration file is a. INI file which as you know is very easy to create/edit in LV MAX copy Configuration.vi can move the configuration file in both directions.  I've been playing with it using my cDAQ and it seems to work.

I could see getting started material and leave the OR to detect it.

Config for export. INI and change the names of items, etc.

Import configuration updated the Max and replace the existing configuration

Here's a quick example of how I did the export/import

  • Problem control pumps syringe with LabVIEW 2013

    Hi all

I try to use a program that was sent to me by a coworker to control 2 pumps to KD scientific syringe using LabVIEW.  The pumps are connected to a Windows 7 computer via a telephone line attached to the pump, which is then connected to an RJ11 to D - type RS-232 converter.  A Hawking Technology RS-232 to USB converter cable connects this converter to a USB port on the computer (this is because our computer has only 1 serial port but we have 2 syringe pumps).  It's the same establishment that has been using my collaborator and it worked without any problem.

The problem arises when we try to control pumps syringe with the LabVIEW program.  We have drivers for Hawking and KD scientific syringe pumps cables installed on the computer, but our computer recognizes that the cable is plugged in - it does not recognize the syringe pushes like a 'peripheral '.  We can run the LabVIEW program, but essentially, nothing happens.  When we press "stop"button, we get an error message that says: "error 1073807202 occurred when opening VISA in Science KD 2XX series Initializes vi."  In my view, this means that the computer/LabVIEW is not able to communicate with the pumps, even if we have installed the drivers and in the same folder as the program.

I enclose the program we are trying to run (it's Version 2, it includes the drivers for syringe pumps), the pilot shot of the error message, we installed the cable, as well as a screen.  If anyone knows anything we can try would be much appreciated.  The author of the program has been at a loss because it works wonders on his computer.

    Thank you in advance!

    Laura

Indeed, I am convinced that the pumps are connected to the correct COM ports.  So I just thought of something... I noticed on the website OR that there are drivers for NI-VISA.  I know for a fact that I have not installed on this particular computer.  Does make sense that these missing drivers could be the problem?  That would explain the error to the opened VISA.  I do not have the administrator rights for this computer so I have to wait for an admin to connect and install the drivers.  I'll give you an update with what's happening.  Thank you all!

  • First Pro CC is supposed to work correctly with AVCHD?

I have recurring problems trying to edit with AVCHD. I have a processor 17 imac with 8 GB of ram. I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5. Whenever I try to edit AVCHD, video has frame jumps to the Middle the clips which were divided when recorded. Sometimes an audio of another element is automatically joined with the video clip bad when I drag from the project panel into a timeline.

It's really supposed to be this much trouble? I also clip numbering issues when I get my SD card in first. It will start turns off fine recording with file 000. MTS, but sometimes after obtaining a random number in the sequence of the clip as 004. MTS, it will make a new clip go back to 000. MTS everywhere and I'll absent fottage because it will overwrite the clip that was supposed to 000.mts. None of this happens as the clip after that 004. MTS is 005. MTS in the finder window, but not in the first.

Yes, I did. I hear some people all transcode AVCHD to prores on Mac

Yes, if the project has value I. If it is very simple or non-consecutive, I have not.

Because Adobe can't handle AVCHD with large maturities.

I found that this was the case. You must have a fast computer with a good graphics card and fast storage for your media.

I am currently working on an iMac of 2013 with 3.5 Ghz i7 CPU, Nvidia 780 M with 4 GB of VRAM and 32 GB of memory, connected to the drive via Thunderbolt and not having problems bays.

Also read that the color correction is not as good with AVCHD and AVCHD is rendered every time or an effect is applied it degrades the quality in first.

This is because AVCHD is an acquisition very, very compressed and, to a lesser extent, the codec of the delivery. It is designed mainly for the purpose and is far from the ideal editing codec.

Your original image from the sensor was shattered tightly in a very tiny package, with 8 (or more) images stuck like a saw jumping puzzle in each box.  Your computer, on the fly, must unpack every box, rebuild management (separating each one from the other) 30 times per second. Compare that to ProRes, resembling a giant shipping cases, each case containing 1 full frame. Your computer has to work much less to display and manipulate images ProRes - but the trade-off is a much larger file size.

Box of ProRes being much larger, when you add graphics, composites, etc. of your sequence, the resulting video image has no need to be smashed down to fit in a small box - the shipping case ProRes adapts easily. If the color correction, compositing, graphic overlays, etc. ' "less pain during editing.

"Degradation" of decompression of the frame of AVCHD, add a graphic and recompression of the frame to AVCHD happen not matter what NLE you use.

Video to ProRes or Cineform benefits far beyond the subsequent use of more disk space and the camera card. That's why many productions use outboard recorders that will record in ProRes, typed cameras that shoot AVCHD natively. They are much better production formats.

  • JavaScript not work correctly with Cox

I use my email on Cox.net. Yesterday I started to have problems with their webmail. When I connect to the page does not appear correctly. In the message preview pane, it overlaps another. So I contacted Cox about the question, and I tried to clear the cache and cookies on my computer, make the high-level security in Java instead of very high, uninstall Firefox and reinstall it, restart Firefox in safe mode, change the advanced settings of Javascript in Firefox, uninstall Java and reinstall, I restarted my computer after installation and clear cache Java. Even in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, it works perfectly fine. Firefox displays correctly on my mother's computer. What I have not done because it seems to only do this on my laptop?

Java and Javascript are completely unrelated, in order to reinstall Java isn't need to touch javascript.

  • Flash and Silverlight don't work at all in beta 34.0, when Internet Explorer is working correctly with these; immediately arrived with Update Beta 34.0.

    Hello!

Immediately after the Update Beta 34.0, Silverlight and Flash, completely stopped working in Firefox. I am running Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2.

They work fine in Internet Explorer.

This happens in any website I want.

For example, I can go on Youtube and the page will display a black box where the video should be, but there is no control of playback, or any way to activate the video. Clicking in the black box has no effect.

On the site of game music, Grooveshark, the site does not recognize Flash installed at all. (If you have not installed Flash, this site displays a message each time. Grooveshark correctly recognizes that Flash has been installed by Internet Explorer.)

I've updated the Flash plugin for the current version, which also has nothing.

I have not reinstalled Firefox, or do a system restore, still.

I just bought a new computer I was going to migrate to and withdraw from this computer, so I wasn't going to make heroic efforts to solve this problem. I reported this more on the order of a bug report.

    Thank you.

    Karl

    Karl,

Do you by chance have Flashblock installed? I had checked before and did turn off but it seems was not enough. Update b 34, 1 break Flashblock who, in turn, breaks Flash and, for me, VLC. I had to disable (in Add-ons) and restart Firefox, and now everything is fine.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it (it's important). Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

  • Keyboard and USB mouse stop working correctly with Windows 7 Professional x 64

I originally had Windows Vista x 64 on my computer (he's 8 months old, CPU intel quad core 2.0 ghz, 6 GB of ram etc.). I installed Windows 7 RC in July (new installation) and used until 2 weeks ago when I installed Windows 7 Professional edition (I reinstalled Vista and then installed the upgrade to Windows 7 by using the clean installation).

In recent days, I had problems with the mouse and keyboard (the two connected USB). Entries to start acting strangely. For example, using scroll in firefox causes the font sizes change in firefox, instead of scrolling and clicking on links opens the link in a new window, not in the same window. Right click stops running. The keyboard input will simultaneously strange - I can type is no longer (for example in firefox search boxes, or WMP), of if I type, it uses another command to open something, etc. I don't understand what is happening! However, after the reboot, the problem disappears and everything works fine, until the next time it happens (has happened 3 x now). I tried my mouse and keyboard in my old laptop and they both seem to work well. I have not received any pilot error / virus messages / dysfunction (Bitdefender 2010) messages of any kind, and as far as I know, all the drivers are up to date.
Anyone know what is happening? Is there something wrong with my motherboard? And if so, why are there no error message? And why things work again after the reboot? Help, please!

    Hello

Update the drivers for the keyboard and mouse should solve the problem.
