Reminders to reappear

My operating system is up-to-date, iPhone 6plus.

I had clear my reminders several times a day. For example, I had an appointment yesterday. I put my application of reminder to remind me of him an hour before. The time has come and it reminded me, I erased it as completed.  A few hours later, my reminder app had a red notification and I went it was the same reminder. I had to check that finished at least half a dozen times yesterday. He reappeared today, but as someone who uses the callback for any application, I'm frustrated to have to check these recalls completed so many times. Didn't happen before the last update.

Updates? I'm having the same problem and can not understand. Do you not fantastic? I was wondering if that could be the cause of the problem. Maybe that's a problem with Apple Watch. Any other ideas?

  • My reminders badge stuck at 1 in the sierra of macOS

I have a '1' badge on my reminders on macOS.

I have no outstanding callback and the badge does not appear on any of my devices iOS (iPhone, iPad), or iCloud.com. Unsyncing reminders in my preferences to iCloud deletes the indicator, but as soon as I turn this back on the badge will reappear. I deleted all my filled reminders and spent some time to replace all my regular reminders and still the badge is still there! I can't find a reminders preferences file to remove from the library. Killall Dock has no effect.

There must be a corruption connected to my iCloud account which only affects the reminders under macOS, but how can I fix this problem? It's driving me crazy. Deactivation of the badge a little defeated the purpose.

I have it exactly the same problem. I tried everything I know. I can't understand. I noticed other problems with Sierra beyond that. I'm about to go back to El Capitan.

  • Reminders do not persist beyond the date of end in lightning. Error or design?

Reminders do not reappear after having reached the date of "END". Other programs of the calendar, I used keep reminding until the user manually terminates it.

This is a mistake of lightning or this is normal behavior?

    Currently using:
    TB 31.0b2
    3.3B1
    Vista

You set the repeat appropriately? In lightning, you will need to define an event to repeat to infinity and ending.

It seems quite reasonable to me; I guess it's mostly a matter of terminology.

My calendar is full of repeat events; reminders to change passwords, take out the trash, attend renewals, anniversaries, birthdays etc. So yes, he can do events that recur indefinitely.

Why you run a beta version?

  • Use the calendar and reminders without iCloud

I have the calendar, reminders, and Contacts on my MBP on synchronize with iCloud.  I have now decided I prefer to use independently of iCloud applications, i.e. with data stored locally on my computer and not sent to iCloud.  The problem is when I disable each iCloud in the system preferences application, all my events etc. disappear applications, only to reappear when I check the new box for iCloud syncronisation.  I even tried the backup of the archives before "unsyncing" and then restoring from archives of said, but the archives appear to be blank without any event etc..

Any ideas?  How can I get data from iCloud on my computer and then stop synchronizing my computer with iCloud?

Reminders - in the application of reminders, drag the item in the section on my Mac. To move several items at once, hold down the SHIFT key after selecting the first reminder.

Contacts and calendar - file/export and choose your desktop. Turn off sync iCloud. Then file/import the file appropriate to your computer.

I tried to delete all the entries in the calendar of my "BOLD" and start again, but nothing helped.

    A help much appreciated

    Don

Hi and welcome to the forums!

In the configuration for the Calendar Wizard, you have the possibility to choose the items to synchronize.

You can select the current, all and a date range, make sure that you choose not to save all events.

I clear the calendar from device again and check the configuration options.

  • Reminders do not display or stick to the lock screen in iOS10

IOS10 (10.0.1 and 10.0.2), on an iPhone (I use an iPhone 6), reminders are no longer reliable. I had several cases where the callback doesn't show even on the screen lock and many more times when the recall won't 'glue' to screen lock for more than a short period. Before iOS10, when you said to remind you at a certain time or place, the recall would display on the reliable lock screen until she has been marked as "completed".

It is a major issue for people who depend on the application for the important tasks and calendar. There is a thread of any discussion on this point, for some reason, has been marked as "solved" even if a large number of people continues to post telling him that there is a problem for them too (as the thread located here). I wanted to start this new discussion which we hope will remain open until it is effectively resolved.

Thank you!!! This is a HUGE problem!

Since the update I had to reboot my phone EVERY day.

Is the stick of reminders... or they do not. Lately they don't yet show upward. Then other things stick to the lock screen can't get rid of.

Currently this feature on the phone is USELESS

  • Reminders of proactive screen does not not on iOS10

Hello everyone, have you tried using proactive reminders as you did in iOS9?

For example, when you read a Web page and you tell Siri 'remind me about it later today.

It has been used to create a new reminder with a link to this page, but now this function no longer works.

Please let me know if I'm the only one with this problem.

    Thank you very much

    Hey Alby-M.

Thank you for being a part of the communities of Apple Support.

If Siri is not grateful the command you give when reading a Web site and say "Remind Me about it later today", then I suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps for Siri below.

If Siri is not available, or do not understand or answer questions

Before you try the following steps, make sure that your camera works with Siri. After each step, see if Siri works.

    1. Make sure that your iOS device has an Internet connection via Wi - Fi or cellular data.
    2. On your iOS device, make sure that Siri is enabled in settings > general > Siri.
    3. Restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
    4. On your iOS device, go to settings > general > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn on again.
    5. If you use an iOS device, try to use Siri with headphones. If Siri works if you are using a headset, get help with microphones on your device.
    6. Contact Apple support.

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    Take care.

  • macOS Sierra and reminders badge notification counter stuck

    Hello everyone,

I upgraded my MBP 2015 beginning 13 "retina to macOS Sierra 10.12 a week ago and since then my notification reminders badge icon shows '1', even if I have no obsolete reminder. On my iPhone 6, Pro "(à la fois avec iOS 10.0.2) and iCloud 9.7 iPad are shown no insignia." How can I solve this problem? I looked everywhere on the internet.

    I tried:

    • Disabling the option badge in settings and reset the MBP.
    • typing in a Terminal the command 'killall-Dock KILL' with 'sudo' and without it;
    • disconnect and connect again to my iCloud account;

    no results at all.

    Any other suggestion please?

    Thank you very much

For those who encounter this problem, thanks to a user I finally solved the problem.

    Here's what I did:

Connected to the www.icloud.com went to the settings and restored a previous automatic backup of two days before (even if my problem started earlier). After the recovery is complete, my icon badge disappeared automatically.

At the end of the process, I had again to share my 'Family' calendar and a reminder with my girlfriend (if you have more, you must do for each list of calendar/reminder).

All my subscribed calendars are always synchronized after the process.

    Hope this helps others...

  • Do not get reminders on my iPhone since iOS 10

Since iOS 10, I rarely get my reminders on my iPhone 6 s, even if they are created on my iPhone 6 s.  However, I always get them on my Mac, what do me any good, because I don't always have my Mac with me.  Everything has worked/synchronized

Is there any solution for this?  We do of course need one ASAP!

You should try to disconnect from the iCloud on your iPhone, force restart your device by pressing home and sign and button walk / stop trying to sync everything back again. If this does not work, disconnect again turn off wi - fi and then reconnect back to iCloud.

  • Reminders app - update.quota_exceeded

    Hello

I'm having a problem with apple app reminders

1st in mac app reminders - I tried to move 50 reminders in 1 list-seems to work ok

but does not appear on the iPhone - when I try to move a reminder in 1 list to the other - it syncs on other devices

    SO - I connect to iCloud.com

then try to move a reminder of 1 list to another

    I get error = update.quota_exceeded

    What is going on?

    How can I fix it?

From what I've gleaned in this thread - Why do I get the following message when I try to delete a complete recall, "cannot delete 'reminder 1'. '. Dialog.Error.Text.Reminder.DESTROY.QUOTA_EXCEEDED?, it seems that Apple is aware and is working on the issue.  You might consider joining Apple Support and again bring to their attention.

  • IOS 10 reminders does not work correctly.

When a reminder appears in the lock screen, you used to be able to slide on to recognize.  Now, you must go the extra step to see first. Then he may or may not give you the option recognize, set a reminder. If she can't give you options to recognize, it does not at all.  I can push any button but nothing happens.

And it's all or nothing if the reminder will be displayed on the phone at all!  I see the recall on my mac and my watch but not my phone! Something is not right!

This should be supported for a right to 10 iOS App, but it is not allowing me to select this community! AGH!

I'm having the same problem with reminders that often does not on my iPhone (with iOS 10) at all, even if they were created on my iPhone and find that they do not appear on my Mac!   What a mess!

  • Box missing reminders (main window)

Since the upgrade to Sierra, at the opening of the app of reminders, he has no left navigation side bar. I can't delete reminders or create new share etc. I tried to delete all my accounts and logging their return as suggested on some other forums, but it does not work. Any suggestions?

    MacBook Air end 2012.

  • Badge of reminders stuck to an event

I have this weird problem with reminders app on my Mac OS Sierra (A 16, 323). It shows always 1 number of events missed on the Red badge on the app icon in the dock, but I did not all events there at all. I cleaned up the list. I tried to discover through hidden events, find something with the search box, search backward events, use automator to delete all reminders - nothing seems to work. I have to say that I do not see reminders on my iPhone is and no badge here. It seems that this badge stuck only on my MacBook, even if all my devices are synchronized via iCloud. One more interesting thing. Recently, I did a clean install of Mac OS Sierra, and the badge is still there. So I guess that it is not a cache or are anchored related issue. When I disable iCloud in the accounts of reminders - badge will disappear, but it comes after I have activate the account again.

I had similar problem with my calendar on Mac app. He has been linked with the sharing of the family. We have disabled the family sharing and there was a note on it in the calendar, it was a little hard to find and because of this badge has been featured on the calendar icon in the dock. When I deleted this notification - badge was gone. And I guess, badge on reminders showed up after I disabled the family sharing as well.

Anyone had the same problem? I mean it's not critical, but this badge makes me crazy because I still think I could have missed something in list of reminders. And Googling for what it does not work with effective solutions.

    Hey there, thiaramus.

Thank you for using communities of support from Apple!

I see that the reminders app always shows a missed test badged on the dock, even if you have not all events there at all. I know how it is important to ensure that you do not have reminders showing if there is none. I can help you with this.

You did some great troubleshooting so far. What I would like you to try now is to test this question in a new user account. Please see the following resource to test a problem in an another user account on your Mac: How to test a problem in another account on your Mac user

Once you have connected the new user, please login to iCloud and make sure that reminders is enabled. Then, see if you get the same badge icon.

    See you soon!

  • Reminders will not disappear.

Since the upgrade to Sierra, I've got two callbacks that will not disappear. I have mark complete and they immediately pop up again. They are not yet listed in the application of reminders or calendar, so I have no idea how to get rid of them. Any suggestions? I don't want to disable notifications entirely for reminders that I use frequently.

I had this problem too. Signing on and to iCloud it resolved for me and no more iCloud related issue.

    Good luck!
