Remote command fails when cross Foglight, but ok using command line

Try to perform an action simple remote command when a rule triggers the file /sharedScripts of monitoring system.  When the alarm is triggered, an email is sent and action of remote command to find and remove the logs more than 10 days is supposed to work.

The command to run is:

find/sharedScripts/set - name "* .log" \ (-type f-mtime + 10 \)-exec rm {} \;) ""

This command works well from the command line on the server, but when it is run by a remote control action, we get the following exception:

I tried many iterations of escape characters, single/double quotes, etc...

Has anyone else tried something like this?  I understand that I could create a script that has this command in it, but if I can avoid that I would because a similar process will be implemented through a hundred servers with different commands according to the system of files in place. In this regard, I would like to manage everything centrally if I can.

Thanks for the reply.  I got a response back from support today and it turns out that some avoidance that is required to run the command from the command line has been the cause of the problem running like a remote control action.

This command works well on the command line:

find/sharedScripts/set - name "* .log" \ (-type f-mtime + 10 \)-exec rm {} \;) ""

but the avoidance of parentheses problem in Foglight. The following seems to work as a remote command:

find/sharedScripts/set - name "* .log"(-type f-mtime+10)-exec rm {} \; "."

  • Toshiba 40TL938 - remote control inactive when CI + card is in use

    I don't know if anyone of you has what happened, but I have a TV 40TL938 max 30 minutes of CI + card insertion become inactive on the remote control, or it takes 2-3 commands by pressing a key.

    If I remove the card, remove the plug and then turn on the TV works perfectly of course for 30 min max.
    Can I do something to get rid of this problem?

    Probably because you do not pass in the right syntax params and by default, it will use localhost. All orders of vCLI has always the default value - server, username - and - password (or you can let the password off and you will be asked)

    Try this:

    vihostupdate.pl --server 10.4.75.230 -user user -i -b C:\ESXi-4.0.0-update01.zip

    and assuming that the IP is your ESXi host, you will be asked your password

    Note: Also, if you use the vCLI to automate all the tasks, to ensure that you are on an eval edition or duly authorized of ESXi, as you can't use the vCLI with the free version of ESXi else, you will get an error.

    Using Firefox, Aurora and all night on the same machine:

    It is, if Firefox is running and as I click on the icon of the Aurora, another Firefox window opens and not Aurora; for even if I click on the icon for every night, another Firefox window opens and not every night. The paths are clearly separated. The Profile Manager has the correct user name.

    How can I set the three concurrent sessions to be opened on a single machine with their username each? Am I missing something?

    You use the -no-remote command line option to open a second instance of Firefox using another profile and the target application. For example, if "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" p - Ian is open, use this command line to start your profile conducting:

    "C:\Program Files\Nightly\firefox.exe" -p BetaTest -no-remote

    The system message:

    I don't think it's a matter of DameWare since other workstations are accessible.   I think that this could be a Windows problem with a kind of security.  Anyone know?

    If I was wrong, you will get the error for GetAttributes... while building the project. Am I wrong?

    If so, then I think it was due to the long way to have more than 256 characters. Can you please try to save your project in the short path such as C:\ and rebuild the package?

    I think that after doing this, error is not displayed and application is virtualized.

    I set up multiple profiles in Firefox. I want to be able to run multiple profiles at the same time, so I created the shell script to start each profile; example:

    nohup /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox Pei User01 no remote > / dev/null 2 > & 1 &

    When I do that, I get the following pop - up. The endpoint may change, but the section of domain.domainggateway.com that seems to start forwarding appears every time.

    I have narrowed down in determining that this will happen only when I use the option 'no-remote '.

    I suspected that I had malicious programs from a Plugin. So I carefully and completely uninstalled Firefox, twice. Yet both times I kept getting this pop-up when you start by the above command. I have not found a solution.

    I now suspect some lance this code lies in the official download of Firefox, but I don't know how to dig into that one more away. Ideas on how to figure out where it comes from and how to fix?

    'Re missing you the main hyphen before '- no - remote', if Firefox thinks you want to open the remote Web site no.

    You can add - no.-distance to the command line to open another instance of Firefox with its own profile and run multiple instances of Firefox at the same time.

    Note that you can not open external links in a Firefox instance started with the - non-interrupteur remote, usually it is recommended to launch default profile without the - No.-remote switch unless you are never to open external links (by clicking on a link in an email) in Firefox.

    Out of the blue in the middle of the day yesterady, I can't deploy all the apps on my Z30.

    The message (tried both Momentics and command line deploy blackberry) simply says "failure of the authentication of the user.

    I am capable of correctly SSH to the machine after using the blackberry connect command, but cannot download a token to debug or deploy applications.

    I am working on installing a reference ViewPlanner, ViewPlanner 3.5 environment local.

    I created the Office of the GoldenRDSH and the Viewplanner device, without AD.

    I used Windows 7 32 bit under my desk and Office installed (2010..) and all the necessary applications and tools.

    Managed to do the check option, and there is no problems/errors.

    However, when I do the execution phase, it fails on the "Connect-Start-workload.

    It seems that the ViewPlanner agent is installed incorrectly.

    There are two packs zip for Agent of VP (1) for desktop PC (2) to the client.

    It seems that this client package is installed in the office instead of an office. You can install the agent desktop of VP and try again?
