Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer

Hi all

I'm having a problem on my server running Windows Server 2008 R2.

I can not can not on the remote server by using remote desktop (mstsc).

Here is the error I get when connecting:

Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer to one of the following reasons:
(1) remote access to the server is not enabled
(2) the remote computer is disabled
(3) the remote computer is not available on the network

Make sure that the remote computer is on and connected to the network, and remote access is enabled.

I tried to restart the services, but nothing helped.

I even restarted the server, which did not help.

Also, I can ping the server without any problem.

Kindly help. !

  • VMware Workstation 7 - comments cannot connect to the host computer

My problem is compounded by the fact that I've upgraded to VMware 7 and added several virtual Win7 64 virtual machines at the same time so I don't know what (or who) is causing the problem.

I have 2 host computers running Windows XP 64 and VMware 7.  Firewall is turned off on all real and virtual computers and antivirus software disabled to facilitate debugging.

I can 'see' host an extra to my network of machines, but I can't connect any virtual machine (Win XP 64 or Windows 7 64) to the drives or folders in a. host Virtual Machines of all the flavors to host B (as can host B himself) can connect to drives and folders in host A or B computers.

I'm really confused, because it is a new problem in a network that worked without problem for a long time.

    Thank you

I was using AVG Anti-virus v8.5.  I uninstalled since then to try to resolve the problem.

AVG should be ok.  Other AV problems even if 'disabled '.

I'll try to disable settings NIC "unloading" next Monday (it's my wifes computer and I'm sure you can guess the rest).

Not to be pedantic, but you mention that it would be temporary disabling.  What happens if this does not resolve the problem, what I won't give in now the settings?

Give you up to a tiny fraction of one percent of time processor, because your host CPU would be checksums compensable package instead of the card NETWORK adapter.  Any difference would be unnoticable on a modern desktop computer.

If a new NETWORK adapter driver becomes available, you can always try which allows once again to see if the new driver fixes it.  Even if a newer version of the workstation out.

    Hello

    OT:

Your computer cannot connect to the remote computer because the remote desktop gateway server address request and the certificate subject name do not match. Contact your network administrator.

I implement the remote desktop session based on Win Server R2 2012.

I create a free sign for certificate certificate and also install the certificate to the client computer.

But when I click on any application it shows me error.

  • Windows cannot connect to the Internet using HTTP, HTTPS or FTP. __This is probably caused by settings of firewall on this computer. __

I recently installed the version of Norton, after that I was unable to use the internet, I thought it was the Norton firewall settings. After having playing with her for 30 minutes, I gave up and uninstalled Norton. I have disabled the firewall, I have reset the default settings. Here is the message I get when I run a diagnostic. A crazy thing is that I can connect to internet when I connected to this same computer as a guess.

    Please help me!

Windows cannot connect to the Internet using HTTP, HTTPS or FTP.
This is probably caused by the settings of firewall on this computer.

Check the settings of firewall for the HTTP port (80), HTTPS port (443) and FTP port (21).

    Hi rhonda9937,

    1. what browser you are using to connect to the internet?

It is not recommended to keep Windows Firewall disabled on the computer.

This would happen if the ports are not open in the Windows Firewall.

I suggest that you open ports in Windows Firewall and check if it works.

    Applicable to Windows 7.

The following steps require administrator credentials.

    • Use the Windows + R or "Run" in the start menu, then type gpedit.msc.
    • Navigate to Computer Configuration > Windows settings > local policies > user rights assignment > consider all policies "prohibit the newspaper on" to check if your guest account is listed. Remove account from the list, and you should be fine to continue using your guest profile.

    ASDM location 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 inside

    don't allow no asdm history

Right now your nat 0 (NAT exemption) follows the access list:

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

Traffic back from your server to 192.168.0.4 in the pool of VPN (192.168.0.20 - 50) not correspond to this access list and thus be NATted. The TCP connection will not develop due to the failure of the Reverse Path Forwarding (RPF) - traffic is asymmetric NATted.

Then try to add an entry to the list of access as:

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0

It's a bit paradoxical but necessary that your VPN pool is cut out in your interior space network. You could also do like André offers below and use a separate network, but you would still have to add an access list entry to exempt outgoing NAT traffic.

  • Unable to share the printer attached to the XP with windows 7, receive error message: windows cannot connect to the printer: operation failed with error 0x000004f1.

Original title: printer HP LaserJet 4050 of PCL6 compatible with Windows 7?

I have a desktop windows xp pro (SP3 5.1.2600) and you have a printer HP LaserJet 4050 PCL6.  The printer works fine connected to the desktop computer with a parallel port.  I'm trying to share the printer on my home network so that Win 7 (6.1.7601 SP1) laptops can use its printing features.  Please help.

First I tried to add it with \\hostname\printername that returned this error: windows cannot connect to the printer: operation failed with error 0x000004f1.
Thanks in advance for any help / support!

    Hello

    1. the two Windows XP, Windows 7 connected in a same workgroup?

    2. can you access files shared XP of Windows 7 computer?

    3. check if the printer is shared or not?

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

HP LaserJet 4050 PCL6 printer is not compatible with Windows 7. Printer drivers are available for Windows XP-based computers only.

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=25475&prodNameId=18322&swEnvOID=228&swLang=8&mode=2&swItem=LJ-4119-3

It is not in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/search.aspx?l=en-us&type=hardware&s=4050%20PCL6

I sugegst you contact HP support for Windows 7 drivers, after you instaall drivers to check with the question.

    Hi Vinayak,

If forms work in the local network, then you can exclude problem in Forms Server or Oracle Application as a whole actually.

The question should be certain access privileges, and you will need to work with the VPN administrator.

    Please note:

Cannot launch the forms in E-Business when you access via VPN: Formslauncher Notinited (Doc ID 471120.1)

    Hope that answers your question.

    Thank you &

    Better compliance

I can't create a new site of Business Catalyst with Dreamweaver CC 2014 (Mac). The error message states that Dreamweaver cannot connect with the server, try again later. In addition, I am also unable to load remote site Business Catalyst created previously as it says that there is something wrong with my user name or password. However when I put my password and press to test the connection, he said that it has connected successfully. What is wrong and how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Thanks for the reply, however it seems to work again after I removed some unused Dreamweaver sites in the section "manage sites" in Dreamweaver.  It may have been a conflict of name or something.

    Concerning
