  To work around the problem, rather than create the template within a space (Manage - all settings), create the model as space-agnostic (Administration - resources).

  Also create a SR in Metalink - I fear of spaces-under-spaces are not designed with the concept of inheritance (I had a similar problem with navigation).

• NAT overlapping with remote VPN access

  My client has an ASA 5510 at the main location. We're shooting for their remote access VPN SSL needs. 30 or so remote users.

  The problem is that the main site has a number of network 192.168.1.0/24. The number of Linksys routers bought on shelf at any store of default.

  Obviously, by default, it does not work. When users connect to the VPN from home, it connects but network resources are not available.

  I read about overlapping NAT with tunnels of site to another, but that all remote access? Is it possible as well?

  Any help to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

  the only question is, to access remote vpn clinet IP cannot access inside the host. However able to reach the branch of IP and it uses corprate Internet.

  In SAA from the external interface I am able to ping remote clint IP but not from within the interface. Please help and let me know if additional information is required.

  For the NAT0 configuration, you only need NAT0 instruction for the interface "inside".

  This single command/ACL should allow for 'inside' <-->'vpn-pool' communication.

  NAT0 configurations on the 'external' interface should be necessary only if you make NAT0 between 2 VPN connections. I guess you could do this since you mention traffic crossed?

  I suggest using different 'object-group' to define networks of NAT0 destination for different ' object-group' to the 'outside' to 'outside' and 'inside' users NAT0.

  I also obsessively using beaches too wide network in the statements of NAT0. According to some records, they can cause problems

  For example, this network ' object-network 172.16.0.0 255.240.0.0 "contains the 172.x.x.x.x set private IP address range. And in this case it contains some of your 'inside' networks too?

  How is this a problem of crossed by the way? You say that the problem is between the VPN clients on the 'external' interface and network local hosts behind the 'internal '? Crossed would mean you have connection problem between 'outside' <->'outside' perhaps.

  I don't know if I made any sense. Can be a bit messy. But can not give very specific answers that I don't know the entire configuration.

  Also make sure you have the "inspect icmp" configured under the policy-map of the world, so that the response to ICMP echo messages are automatically allowed through the ASA.

  I don't know how it is implemented, but if WuickVPN wait a form ping my router, it will not happen. I was never able to ping my router ouside of my ISP network.

  QuickVPN try ping on the router via the VPN tunnel to check the connection. It should work without worrying about whether your ISP filters ICMP messages or not. The tunnel is encrypted your ISP won't know what you're doing.

  Please post the corresponding on the RV042 VPN log. That is expected to see how far you get.

  You have a firewall running on the computer? I think that some firewalls have difficulty with the traffic of ESP.

  On the 32-bit machine when I try either options it goes to the "easy connect, not available.  Network Diagnostics has found no problem, but if I try to access the Internet connectivity evaluation tool I can't in the tool.  It says at the bottom "IE6 is required" and nothing happens.   So I don't know if the PK5000 was the Peer Name Resolution Protocol on it or not.  Qwest or Actiontec will not respond to the request.  I guess it's OK if the 64, but the machine would not immediately come with the password to use on the other machine.  The command ipconfig/all look the same on both machines. Furthermore, both systems are (Inspiron 580) and DELL (XPS 420).

  Please give me more advice on this problem.

  Downloaded "Teamviewer.exe www.teamviewer.com.  It is a product of superior quality on remote assistance and is free for non-commercial use and it works great both ways. And it allows control over the other system instead of simply consider.
