Remove a profile

I need to get rid of a profile and all emails of this profile. Can anyone help?

Tools | Options | Account settings

If you do not see this menu, press ALT.

Select the account. In its settings, note the location given under the "Local Directory" - this is the place where is stored the messages from this account and other data.

At the bottom of the window listing the accounts and their setting is a button labeled "account of Actions." Here you will find an option to remove the account, which will result in the account of Thunderbird endangered.

However, this leaves the data in your file system. If you are concerned about this since a perspective of security or confidentiality, access record noted previously in your file manager, that is, Windows Explorer, Finder, Nautilus or anything else and remove this folder.

Original title: user profiles are not deleted

I used delprof in windows xp, in a script, to remove cached user profiles, but it does not work for Vista Ultimate. I tried reprof but the characteristics of certina if Vista prevents the Remprof of work corre4ctly. I also used the GPO setting on the client system Vista. I put the time of deletion for all the two days. Because it requires a reboot I had put Scheduler Restart every two days.  User profiles were still on the system after reboot. • Helps to remove the profile of someone else to my gmail login window.

Someone else uses my computer to connect to their account gmail long ago. Now, whenever I want to access my gmail account, their profile appears. I can not connect to delete, and it's annoying because I always wonder to connect to their e-mail first... rather than mine. I could easily remove the user when I connect using google chrome...

  • AnyConnect on logon remove other profiles of xml.

    Hello

I have a problem with Anyconnect (3.1.14), when I connect with the most recent profile, it deletes the oldest xml profiles.

The xmls are for different devices. Bug?

    Thank you

    PS

The problem occurs only with the AlwaysOn enabled on the profile.

If you enable always - On, it will always remove all other xml desktop profiles.  I've seen this happen and it is also written in one of the documents somewhere.

  • How to remove Palm profile information?

OK, I'm through with Palm Desktop and data transfer using the data transfer Assistant. Whenever I use this software info problems (DTA) My Palm Desktop or Outlook.

I'm migrating to the "cloud" that is Google (yay progess). By transferring all my contacts/calendar from Palm Desktop to Outlook to Google, everything works. (Plus I can now edit calendar/contacts from the internet or my Palm Pre.) I hope that no more synchronization)

So now, that my question is, how do I remove my Palm profile? I know I can 'hide' but I have to remove the old news for good and don't want my info focus or pulling a backups on the 'Cloud Palm profile online'. In addition, the duplicates are boring.

I tried the delete button remote, but who magically restored a backup that I ever created and I even disabled the backup option.

You can't actually delete your profile. You can remove it from the appliance and the new sign in it. But you cannot delete actually it detached from the backup.

  • How to remove or delete profiles redundant network (names) of my office and laptops running Windows 7?

With Verizon DSL modem in bridge and as a router Linksys WRT 160N, my desktop and laptop computers have been in a network.  Laptop computer and printer via wireless and desktop wired.  The name of the network used to be the same for all connected devices.  However, when my Linksys gave the soul about a week ago, I reconnected it via the Verizon Actiontec WRT704G modem/router combination and since I could not print from the laptop, and it takes about 5 minutes to print 2 pages of my office.  The network name on my desktop by default automatically to the network 4, and on the laptop, there '2' after the former name of network.  With different network names, I couldn't set up my home group.  But I have access to the internet on both computers.  The network name (SSID) on the site config the router and the printer is the same: the former name of the network without the '2'.

I need help or advice on how to clear or remove these other network names and have just 1 network name for all connected devices.  I know that in Vista, you can merge or remove network profiles but can't seem to find a way to do this under Windows 7.  Also, my laptop is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and the Office on Home Premiun 64 bit.

  • How to remove the mail profile in windows 7

I am trying to remove a mail profile in my new system windows 7. I know how to do it on Vista (as below), but this does not work in windows 7 and can't find the info anywhere.  Can anyone help please?

How to remove the profile under XP or Vista. (1) open the control panel. 2) click on user accounts, and then click surCourrier. (3) the email configuration dialog box opens and you can delete email profile as you wish.

    Hi vanziggy,

In the Panel, it has a link to "Add or remove user accounts". This is not the place (in Windows 7).

In Control Panel, in category view - a small drop-down menu at the top right, there is a section "user accounts and Family Safety", which is a link.

In the dialog box accounts users and family security, there is a box option, where you can add or remove profiles (e-mail). -Bob

  • Windows 7 Networking Wireless - keeps his back I remove profiles

    Hello

Just, I got my laptop working upgraded to windows 7 and am having major problems with the wireless connection.  So the first thing I want to do is to remove all profiles, but my main, if simple, go in manage wireless networks, click on a link then do a right click on it and say remove connection, then it disappears and comes back 2 seconds later.  The connection is 3000 miles away, so it's not finding it.  Also, when I reorganize, it changes it back.  Also when I reboot wireless is active.  I was competent in XP, but ready to throw computer laptop in the room.

    Help!

    Thank you
    Alison

I also had the same problem as even after the removal of the wifi profile, it kept reconnecting to it.

After reading this thread, I realized that it is not stored by Windows, but by managers of 3rd part wifi (in my case it's the Intel PROSet/Wireless connection utility) that automatically records all the profiles that you have (successfully?) connected to in the past.

No wonder he's been create and put the other profile to use, as soon as my favorite network was temporarily not available. Just went in his management utility and changed profiles here. It works fine now. I think that most new computers come with such utility pre-installed on their computer now when you install the drivers.

Just write here, so I hope that others might get a clue here as well and focus on something in this direction.

  • removal of construction profiles

I created a profile of wicked generation try something that doesn't work. Forgive the new user question, but I couldn't find the answer in the manual and it is not obvious to me in the eclipse plugin or the web interface. How to remove construction profiles? I think to be able to create/edit/import, but not delete.

You can delete the build profile manually by using VMware Studio command-line interface, here is the procedure for the same thing.

    1. log in as root

    2 cd/opt/vmware/var/lib/build/profiles

    3 rm YourBuildProfile.xml

How to remove ICC profiles. I'm working on a file to have printed business cards, the printer requires the removal of ICC profiles, but I have no idea how to do that.

    Thanks in advance!

Edition > assign profile. In the dialog box that appears, choose not to manage the colors.

At any time you can check the color profile or the absence of using this menu. When there is no profile it will say "Untagged."

  • I did a tuneup Firefox, where my profile is stored before the tuneup?

I tried to do a tuneup Firefox because I had problems with freezes and crashes. Once the process is complete, asked me to choose a profile before restarting Firefox. The choice is a list of numbers, so I had no idea who was my current profile. Of course, I chose the one bad because all my favorites, history, etc. is not here, so I guess it must have been in one of the other choices of profile. How to make where I can choose a different profile to open it.

You can change the default Firefox profile using the Firefox profile manager. Try the different profiles on your system to see which, if only the profile you want. You can then specify the Profile Manager to use this default profile.

For more information about using the Profile Manager, please refer to this Mozilla support article:

Is that what you are looking for? Let us know.

Note: The Profile Manager can be used to remove Firefox profiles. However, I do not recommend that you remove all profiles before you locate your desired profile as you can accidentally delete the work profile.

I want to restore (not update) my Firefox and Firefox Profile missing file. Also, I looked in my Time Machine backups, and there are no. FOLDER of FIREFOX in backups of library it.

You have an "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop?

When you refresh/Reset Firefox then created a new profile and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported.
The current profile folder will be moved to "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop.
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone.

You can use one of them to retrieve an existing profile or create a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to make Firefox create a new profile (default)
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
If you have an existing profile, then click on "Choose a folder" in the Profile Manager and navigate to the location of a profile lost to recover this profile
      https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/managing+profiles

You should find the file profiles.ini in this hidden place:

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      * C:\Users\ < user > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/

If the file profiles.ini compensation does not work then also check the location of the cache files.

    • Windows: * C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Mac: ~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/
    • Linux:~/.cache/Mozilla/Firefox/

You can also try to rename/delete the MozillaFirefox folder in the two above mentioned places (main, cache).

I had downloaded a game, and while he was full I tried to open it in order to play. After I opened my laptop hanged just for long time that I am impatient and decided to restart. Since then, I can't use Mozilla firefox because it does not open, but only displays the text "failed to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. ", but since that time, on my desk there was a folder that appeared under the name 'old data firefox' Please help

You must locate the profiles.ini file and delete this file or use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

    See:

This problem may be caused by a problem with the profiles.ini file or with the permissions (owner) of the concerned files.

      * C:\Users\ < user > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\

    • Linux:~/.cache/Mozilla/Firefox/

  • Can I copy my profile of one copy of Firefox to another?

I have Firefox 42 perfectly configured on a computer Windows 10. Installation of others is a mess. It's on another computer Windows 10. My user name and directories are identical on each. I don't want to debug ALL the symptoms I have now. It would be wonderful if I could completely uninstall the wrong installation and reinstall Firefox 42 fresh. So until I run it, copy my profile from the good computer on the profile on the newly installed version.

Will this work? Is that all I need to know to achieve this?

(I know that you think that this guy has just need a bit of hand-holding to clear up its problems normally. Believe me, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox four times in the last five days. Right now my address bar does not appear, my bookmarks bar is empty, my buttons previous and next are grey and don't function and if I ever fix that I will then find all the problems I've lived with since upgrading to 42.)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Copy profile 'good' to a USB "such what."
Then copy the thumb into the profile on the wrong folder.
You can use the Profile Manager to access the 'good' profile.
