  To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article.

  Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
  Remove these applications:
  1 Apple Software Update
  2. Apple Mobile Device Support
  3 Hello
  4 iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
  5 iTunes
  6 QuickTime

  Open my computer > C: > Program Files
  Delete this files (if present)
  1 iPod
  2 iTunes
  3 QuickTime

  Empty your temp directory:
  Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

  If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
  Tools > Folder Options > view tab
  Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

  Once this file is empty, restart the computer

  Download & install the Windows Installer Cleanup (see caution above) utility

  You can delete your contacts Hotmail or Outlook of the people app.  If you have connected other accounts such as Google, Facebook or Skype, you'll need to go to this app or Web site to delete these contacts.

  Deleting a contact works only when you have selected a contact. If you are on the screen showing all your contacts, it will not work. You must first select the target contact exactly in the same way you would start a Skype session. When the new window opens, you only deal with one contact. On this screen, you can delete in: 1. click on the three dots in the bottom right of the screen, or 2. just right click anywhere on the screen. Or the other will show the submenu, such as blue bars on the top and the bottom of the screen. Located in the blue bar, on the right are different commands including delete. Most who cannot remove a contact is on the screen... not on indivitual contact. I hope this helps.

  I want to start separating my personal contacts working contacts placing them on two different accounts. But I don't see how to delete existing contacts on the latest version of Skype for Mac. When I right click on the contact it only gives you the message I want to send my work contacts and the option "block contact" which is very aggressive.   You evert were able to get an answer to your question on the removal of the names of your contacts list? I tried to edit my contacts and much drop land line contacts and have no way to do it. Delete Contact is gray and unusable. If you had success on an answer, please let me know. I use a Mac, so don't know if this is the issue or not.
