  Number of questions:

  How to transfer your files, photos and catalog to the new computer? I suppose that use you the recommended backup / restore process:

  Displacement of Adobe elements Organizer catalog by using the backup and restore | Photoshop and first Elements 6 or later version

  You see 85000 files count in the organizer or in your browser (explore / finder)?

  I also assume that your modified photos appear in 'version sets' in the Organizer?

  If so, there is a faster way to keep only the edited version.

  You can transfer data from one computer to another, but you can't transfer programs. Unless it's portable and requires no installation.

  I suggest you to install the game in the new computer and copy the game files (including save game files) from your old computer and save it in the same place in your new computer.

  Backup set files will be in the folder where the game is installed or in my documents.

  I have Dreamweaver CS3 and Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator CS5. I bought a new computer and was able to disable CS5 CS3 although not there nothing on deactivate the account. I assumed that online or somewhere else, so I reformatted the old computer and it distributed to the members of the family. But now after installing Dreamweaver CS3 and inputing my serial numbers, I get the error "maximum number of allowed activations. Any help on this?   You don't need to install CS3 at all - unless you really want to. All that is needed is CS6 installing. It will ask you a serial qualification in the upgrade process. If you offer your activations, then call support, otherwise there is no requirement for this.

  Lightroom does not currently use our activation technology, it is not necessary to disable it on your old computer.

  You can simply uninstall the older machine software.

  It depends on the license.  If you have purchased a copy of Windows XP retail, then you should be able to transfer it to another machine.  If you have an OEM license, however, your license is married to your machine and it dies when your machine dies.  If you bought a brand such as Dell, HP or Toshiba computer, and it came with Windows XP installed, then it is likely an OEM license.

  Note that the same install a retail version of Windows XP on a modern machine can not be easy.  The installation CD does not recognize a SATA hard drive, and to install a driver so that he will see the player will require that you have a floppy drive.  The alternative is to integrate driver into your installation disk.

  I just got a new computer which has Windows 7 as operating system, previously using Win XP.  I have the original installation disc, but when I try to install my HP Photosmart 3210xi printer, it tells me that it is incompatible with my operating system.  How do I overcome this?  BTW, I can just plug in the printer and it will work, but of course I want to install it so I can use the scanner program and others.  I am not a novice, but I'm not a computer programmer that so keep that in mind!
