  How to remove uninstall ilivid and searchqu
  ilivid is malware (and some consider it to be a virus). If you have installed by mistake, to remove it goes 'regedit' into your computer. Go to edit and find. Type ilivid.exe, and then delete all entries.

  Do the same with "searchqu." But this time remove 'searchqu' and "searchqu toolbar."

  If you are a novice in computer, google 'regedit' to learn more.

  While browsing my extensions, I found Datamngr 1.0, which was obsolete after FF4. If disabled, there is no option 'remove '. I looked for solutions and apparently he was associated with Searchqu, who was accidentally installed (and immediately uninstalled) several months.   It seems to be an add-on, installed next to the other software and I recommend removing it as soon as POSSIBLE.

  Since I've been infected by searchqu and removed (hopefully) so, when I try and click on the + to open a new tab, nothing happens. I also tried clicking on file, scroll to a 'new tab' but yet again, nothing happens. However, if I go to file then "new window", then it will open a new window - but what a nightmare! Please can someone help?

• How can I remove iLivid Web search?

  Unfortunately, I installed iLivid and have had the problem that many others have lived with the irritating searchqu. I followed the many useful threads on using Firefox and through disabling modules, using Add/Remove programs etc, I have manged to pretty much get rid of. One annoying aspect remains. On my Firefox page, next to the usual web address field is another field of research that is pre-filled with "iLivid Web search."

  Does anyone know what specific part of the uninstall will get rid of this?

  It worked for me. There is a magnifying glass with a drop-down arrow on the left side of the box using the ilivid search. Hit him and you will see a list of search engines. Go to "manage search engines" at the bottom, select 'ilivid', then 'delete '. Select the search engine you want to use and if it is not already at the top, select "move up". Mine is now at Google.

  Can someone tell me what the risk is to have searchqu ilivid and bandoo on my computer. I did some research and some say they are bad, and some say that they are not a problem. Some of the research show that searchqu/toolbar will always try to change your search engine and your browser. Also said almost impossible to remove.

  I've updated to itunes version 12.5.1, as well as Windows 10.  If I let my ipod classic finish syncing, everything on the ipod is removed.  So I have to restore the ipod in disk mode so that itunes recognizes the ipod and avoid itunes gel settings.  I found the only way to keep my music is to stop synchronization before it ends or the entire contents of the ipod is removed, and I'll have to go through the process of restoring ipod to factory settings again.  During synchronization, I disable the Windows 10 firewall and anti virus as Apple support told me that it could interfere with itunes.  What is - this with the finishing of sync that removes my ipod?
