• LVUTF-> RequirementID shows only not in the ATML report

  I use requriements gateway and I wanted to use the ATML report out the UnitTest framework in my project.

  The issue I'm facing is when I run the UnitTest framework on my draft report is ATML does not contain the elements of RequirementID.

  I belieave I configured it straight and I don't understand why it doesn't work.

  Gateway requirements comes with an example of using the ATML UTF report. When I run the test in the sample project, RequirementID tags appear.

  I have enclosed a snapshot of one of my 8 unit tests in my module: to show that I have set the RequirementID field in UTF configuration.

  However... I have no chance, and the report does not have the RequirementID.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  If you go in the project preferences, test infrastructure unit, there is an option to select additional details in the tests of success, failure, and error.

  I need to automatically print a report of failure of TestStand. I have implemented an automatically generated file name in TS Report Options and send it to a default directory on the hard drive. The reports are generated correctly, but on a test failure, that I want to find the name of the last file so I can print it. Does anyone know how to do?

• How to exclude tests "Ignored" in the final report? (TestStand, 2013)

  Background

  I have 5 running tests in a loop For. Each iteration of the loop corresponds to a line in the table of my database. These tests use a Pre Expression to set the name of the step.

  For a few iterations of the loop, he is not supposed to make 1 on 5 tests. Here, I use a precondition to the test.

  Problem

  When the condition fails, the Expression of pre does not work. This means that the name of the step remains unchanged since the last iteration, which took the test. Thus, the report shows the wrong name is ignored.

  Possible solutions?

  The ideal solution is to not have ignored tests contained in the report at all. Is there a way to do this?

  If this isn't the case, we can live with the line that says "Ignored" in the report, if the name of the step is updated based on others. Is there a way to do this?

  Or is there any other suggestions?

  There is an option in the report parameters.

  Subspecies include step results--> result filtering Expression:

  You must give this: Result.Status! = "Ignored".

  You will avoid the tests ignored in the report.

  Hi all

  today I installed the patch 2014f1 TestStand and after that, I recognized that TestStand removes my reports of ATML5 by itself after execution of finishing.

  I'm active On-The-Fly Reporting and store reports in different places for each sequence. This place, I determine in the PREUUT callback.

  During execution, I see that the report is generated exactly at the specified location, but if the execution is complete they will be removed immediately. I don't know why?

  Do I have to remove the f1patch? Someone at - it the same problems?

  I will be happy if someone has a suggestion what to do.

  I created a sample file to show the effect (see attachment). I think I found the problem and it's my fault.

  I have seen that it is me who deletes files (SetReportPath.vi). Before you begin the statement I want to erase the reports directory.

  When I work with my custom GUI LabVIEW (uses parts of the SimpleUserGUI-example of TestStand, singlePass-execution) everything works fine. The SetReportPath.vi removes the old reports and after the execution of this new report remains in this directory. PreUUT-reminder, therefore, seems to be executed only once. The same thing happens if I use TestStand SequenceEditor for the execution of the sequences and use there "SinglePass.

  When you use the SequenceEditor TestStand to perform sequences in Mode TestUUT the new report is deleted after that first Test USE ended and I click on stop in the USE Information-dolls. I think the PreUUT callback is called here and SetReportPath.vi deletes my report. This seems logical.

  With this routine I'm working now for two months and I noticed that the "deletion" just after the installation of the Patch TestStand2014f1. So I think that there are some changes by calling PreUUT-reminder, but I'm not sure. Maybe you can check this.

  Can someone help me remove the DVD/CD-RW of this laptop?
  I already folded the bezel on the original disk, which I am trying to remove to replace it with a DVD - RW drive.
  I removed the screw - (reported by F6 on the plastic box - which seems to be the one & only) & the drive didn't budge. It seems a bit at loose in the case of the laptop but do not pull. Is there another screw or a clip that I'm missing?
  I got a scheme by a person I am in contact with, but it's no help. I don't want to just pull hard & break the drive excising & the laptop as well.

• How to remove an instance of "entering a call sequence" according to the report from teststand

  I use TestStand 4.2 and I use a long sequence with several subsequences.  In these subsequences, I get the results of the tests that I want to put in the report of TestStand.  Currently, for this I need to check her option "result Record' in the Options"run"the call of the sequence of properties that displays a 'seizure call sequence' mark on the report.  Is it possible that I can get rid of this marker and always save the void sequence information?

When I try to format the text, I get weird results as simple words on a line. If I remove the descendant 'P' at the end of each line manually, which solves the problem; everything is as it should be. I tried to use 'Find and replace' but it doesn't work because it removes all invisible characters so that you get a long sentence without a space between the words. I tried to use TextEdit to remove formatting controls unwanted, as found in another link, but that doesn't work anymore. Any suggestions on how to do to remove all "P"? I have a document of 50 pages to reformat, so doing this manually is nuts.

  When you copy text from? I guess that returns were inserted by an application of text at some point editor in the process. If you copy a text editor, you can find an arrangement that will toggle between having and not having returns at the end of each line. If so, set it to "off" before the selection and copy.

  Is it possible to distinguish these additional returns of those legitimate by looking at the characters that immediately precede and follow?

  Back at the end of a paragraph should immediately follow a sign of punctuation; period, question mark, or exclamation point and should be immediately followed by the first character of the next paragraph.

  End of line returns should not follow one of these brands, except when this brand (and the space after it) come too close to the maximum line length to fit the word following on the same line.

  If you're lucky, and the record was produced by someone not wise to (or not to trust of) the ability of the software to add a space after a point, you can see that two consecutive returns have been used (as I have in this post) to create this space.

  End of line returns should not follow one of these brands, except when this brand (and the space after it) come too close to the maximum line length to fit the word following on the same line.

  Knowledge of these patterns can give you a method three passes for the removal of these statements of additional income by using find/replace.

  On the first pass, MARK returns you want to keep.

  -If double returns have been used, use two returns as your search string and two markers as the same string replacement. The markers must be a pair of characters that do not appear or do not appear in pairs, in the document. ' # ' comes to mind.

  -If you need to rely on punctuation, you will need to make a separate pass mark for each sign of punctuation that was used at the end of a paragraph. For each, the Find string will be markreturn and the brand of string replace. #

  This first pass will replace all the feedback that you want to keep with "#" (preceded in the second method of punctuation that should also be kept).

  On the second pass, remove all the statements that have been left in the document. Find the string: return the replacement string: a single space.

  NOTE: This assumes that the end of the return line has replaced the space that normally elapses between the words, at this stage. If you have determined that there is a return of end of line AND a space between the word at the end of a line and beginning of the next line, leave the box replace empty.

  CAREFUL directions: understand the space, then see the fourth passage below.

  On the third pass, reinsert the required return. Search: # replace: return

  Note that if your first pass sought and kept a sign of punctuation, you do NOT want to restore it - there was kept in the first pass.

  Fourth optional phase: one of the things I've taught students when we started using processing in elementary school was never press the space bar twice in a row. You need a space between the words, no space between a Word and punctuation after the word and a space between the mark end of a sentence and the first word of the following sentence in the same paragraph. This pass of find/replace removes extra spaces using find: replace two spaces: a space.

  Repeat this step as many times as necessary (until find/replace reports "none found" or a similar message).

• Update ATML report header with the data collected during the execution of the test?

  I need to add data obtained during the tests to the report header (ATML TR5/6_Horizontal.xsl). I tried to implement all update features I've seen here, nothing done. I can get some added things if I do during the PreUUT, but I do not have these data. Does not work try the same commands (use the Parameters.UUT.AdditionalData container). I have not been able to get either the recall of ModifyReportHeader to do. Help and I saw others examples of support seem to be about half of what I need to this implementation. Any help is appreciated.

  It seems that comparisons of the value (the "-lt" and "-gt") you here are values after they were formatted to units 'friendly' and then processed into strings.  Comparison operations then do not give the results you expect, because comparisons are these strings, instead of the actual numbers.  Illustration:

  Clearly not what you expect if the comparisons are numbers instead of strings.

  Then, you'd better keep the values of size in the form of numbers until it is time to display them (or write HTML code).  That way comparison operations (numbers) will be behave as desired/expected, and your conditional formatting should work.  The key to making comparisons of real numbers, and then use the values of string shaped numbers for the HTML output.  Make sense?
