Remove the SIM Tray Dev Alpha A

Hello

I bought a SIM card to check the data on my Dev Alpha A. I'm trying to remove the tray now. I have lost the small tool somewhere. How to remove the SIM tray?

Figured it out. Just use a paperclip.

At the present time, that the rear is masked by a stick on the cover, which will be difficult to remove, the phone should be repaired and I need to remove the sim card.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 e-All-in: how to remove the output tray on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 e-all-in-one printer

I can't remove the output tray.  I do some print double-sided (one in color, the other b & w).  It's time to remove the main input tray to place paper for side 2.  It would be much easier to take the 1 side printed just as it ended, and then set it just fine on top of the blank sheets in the main input tray to print page 2.

I can't remove the output tray.  The store clerk said that it should be easy to remove and re - install, but that it can be kept in place by a piece of tape.

I'm prone to breaking things, I am working on that.  I don't want to break my 4 month old printer!

    Any ideas?  Thank you.

The main part of the output tray is not removable.  There are a few alternatives: the tray can be removed partially opened and printed pages, loaded in it - it should not be necessary to remove the tray completely.

The other possibility would be to simply print using the auto duplexer.  If you are printing on plain paper or paper index, it should work, it would not be suitable for printing on the back of the photo paper.

  • BlackBerry Passport insert/remove the sim card

Should I turn off my passport before to insert/remove the Sim Card or not? is it dangerous to do when the device is already on?

    Yes and the deletion.

Let me add, I would recommend power first, but there is no obligation in this regard.

The SIM card and the media are hot-swappable.

  • Insert/remove the sim card

    Hello guys,.

I was wondering if it's ok to insert or remove the micro sim card when the phone is turned on, or when it is off but load?

It will damage the phone or is it OK to do?

    Thank you

    Hello

If the phone is off you can insert and remove the micro sim card card whenever you want.

There should be no promlem it when the phone is turned on either. I made it myself with different phones and watched others making and have found no problems so far. Although I noticed that in this case, it was more difficult for the phone sometimes to connect to the carrier and I had to do it manually.

Anyway, you better refer to the manual of your phone and check if she says nothing about it.

    Hey @Merlot856,

Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I understand that you are looking to remove the tray paper from your printer Officejet 6100. The tray is not removable on this printer. I suggest a larger box or be extremely careful when moving the printer so that the tray is not broken.

I hope this helps and I hope you have a great week!

  • the Proportions in Dev Alpha bbUI.js

Yesterday I received my Dev Alpha in the Sao Paulo BlackBerry Jam and like everyone I play with it today, mainly to carry my apps for it. I tried to compile my app bbUI.js/WebWorks using 10 BB and PlayBook SDK but I couldn't get my app is displayed correctly on my Dev Alpha, it is absolutely out of proportion.

Here is a picture of the problem:

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

PS: This works perfectly on the PlayBook and the ripple.

I looked at the example app source code bbUI.js (which correctly displayed on the Alpha of Dev) and I noticed that the viewport meta tag is a little different than my. My was like this:

I noticed that the bbUI.js there a device-density setting. I added it and the app is now display correctly. Here is the right one for your applications:

    Hello

I use the Dev Alpha Simulator to test my apps of Cascades, and I need to type text in the fields in my application. I can just click and type the keyboard of my Mac, but capitalization does not work. So, how can I get the BlackBerry keyboard to display on the simulator - so that it looks like a real device?

    Thank you.

    Hello
You can click on the lower right corner, and the keyboard will be visible.

    Kind regards

    720 x 720 for models with a physical keyboard.

  • Change orientation distorts the content of the screen on Dev Alpha (10.0.6.545)

I use the Beta 2 SDK and my Alpha Dev is updated to 10.0.6.545.

I want my application to support the changes in orientation from portrait to landscape and back. To implement, I followed the tutorial at:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Cascades/documentation/dev/orientation/index.html

When I flip the Alpha of Dev to change the orientation of the fashion portrait to landscape mode, it works. But when I flip it back to leave for the portrait, the content of my app's screen gets distorted / destroyed somehow so that more or less garbage appears. It is not just a question that all of my components are not moved or something (I understand I must handle this) but the screen content is garbled. When I go again in landscape mode it seems ok again. But when I go to the portrait of the screen is still once deformed. Here is a screenshot:

I've found that I can reproduce this behavior also with examples of applications like weatherguesser and also with costs projects created from the project templates as examples NavigationPane or TabbedPane when I just turn on self-orientation in their bar - descriptor.xml file and just add an onCreationCompleted handler in their main.qml:

    onCreationCompleted: {
        OrientationSupport.supportedDisplayOrientation = SupportedDisplayOrientation.All;
    }

Since the orientation change works very well for the operating system itself and the browser pre-installed too, and only my apps are affected, I think that I'm doing something wrong. Any tips?

Is the source code for the tutorial above available as an archive available for download somewhere? I want to check it out.

Or is it is a known issue in Beta 2? (I did not implement the change in orientation of support before Beta 2).

(I have not found anything on this issue in the issue tracker.)

    Thanks in advance

I've updated to Beta 3 SDK and the Dev Alpha 10.0.9.388 and this bug seems to be fixed.

  • BlackBerry smartphones remove the Sim Card from storm

How do you 'delete' the SIM of the storm? I know that the battery has been removed. I tried to delete it, but seems to be stuck? I looked into the Blackberry site, but it does specify that on installation there. The SIM is uder a metal clip, I can "move". No problem with the phone or the sim card, but maybe later, that perhaps I need to remove it. Thank you.

Maybe I have use a small screwdriver and try to lift the clamp metal, to see if that helps, too. Thank you.
