remove unnecessary libraries?

Hi guys,.

When I compile my project focused on Momentics stunts, I see a number of libraries that I do not fly by.

for example:

qcc -Vgcc_ntoarmv7le -lang-c++ -Wl,-rpath-link,C:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6/armle-v7/lib -Wl,-rpath-link,C:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6/armle-v7/usr/lib -Wl,-rpath-link,C:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6/armle-v7/usr/lib/qt4/lib -o o.le-v7-g/FindMyThread o.le-v7-g/.obj/MySimpleThread.o o.le-v7-g/.obj/MyWorkManager.o o.le-v7-g/.obj/applicationui.o o.le-v7-g/.obj/main.o o.le-v7-g/.obj/moc_MySimpleThread.o o.le-v7-g/.obj/moc_MyWorkManager.o o.le-v7-g/.obj/moc_applicationui.o    -LC:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6/armle-v7/lib -LC:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6/armle-v7/usr/lib -LC:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6/armle-v7/usr/lib/qt4/lib -LC:/bbndk/target_10_1_0_4828/qnx6//usr/lib/qt4/lib -lbbcascades -lQtDeclarative -lQtScript -lQtSvg -lQtSql -lsqlite3 -lz -lQtXmlPatterns -lQtGui -lQtNetwork -lsocket -lQtCore -lm -lbps

I don't think I need to QtSvg, QtSql, sqlite3, QtXmlPatterns, QtNetwork, socket or bps.

I can't find out where well remove them.  I think it was in the .cproject file, but that seems to have changed in the recent updated Momentics.

I tried to remove them from the Makefile.Debug, but which seems to be generated automatically, so that was not good.

is there a way to remove these unnecessary libraries?

Thank you

J

Just checked, and the libraries are still reported to the same place in the file .cproject in the latest version of Momentics. I have posted about this before, but here's a high-level overview.

Search this text in the .cproject file:

superClass="com.qnx.qcc.option.linker.libraries" valueType="libs"

Libraries are reported on lines after this one. Note that each create profile (usually four, Simulator-Debug/device-Debug/device-profile/device-Release, unless you have defined many of yours) has a copy of the library list, and you need to delete those that you have not need of each of them to make it work.

  • How Saveli remove unnecessary files

I have an old Dell with XP Professional and MS Office 2007 Pro.   There seems to be many downloaded files that may or may not be of use longer.   I don't want to maintain the integrity of the operating system and MS Office, but need to free up hard drive space.  I deleted all temporary files etc and have no malware on this system.

I would say running a free program called Ccleaner, free at cnet.com. He'll find junk files, you don't need and delete them. Don't worry, I have used this program for over a year, never had a problem. It also has the ability to find problems in the registry that need to be addressed and I also use this feature. But, I always save a backup the changes made to the registry on my desk to ensure that there is no problem. After about a month, I remove the back upward because it had no effect on my operating system.

Download from the same web site, Revo Uninstaller. This program will list each program you have on your hard drive, the difference between this program is that it also removes registry leftovers, add/remove programs does not. You must look at all the programs on your hard drive and decide if you use the program or not, otherwise, delete. Do not touch any program that has been installed through Microsoft updates.

  • I need to remove unnecessary files

I need to delete some files of uneeded on my hard drive so I can't defragment due to lack of available disk space. What should I do. ?

There are a number of things you can do to- temporarily - free up disk space.  The only real solution, however, is to get a bigger internal hard drive.   You can move the data to an external drive, but if it's the data that you use frequently, slower access times may annoy you.  Therefore, I do not recommend that you move your My Documents folder in its entirety on an external drive, but you can certainly do this by following the related instructions.

    • You can run Disk Cleanup (start > run > cleanmgr > OK) If you have more than one user, don't forget to run Disk Cleanup in all user profiles.  Also note that Disk Cleanup removes only the files in the temporary directory that have not been consulted in the past seven days, then you may want to manually remove the contents of C:\Documents and Settings\Settings\Temp for each user.  Just make sure you reboot before you delete recent files in the directory temp
    • You can reduce the size allocated for the restoration of the system to about 1 GB (right click on desktop > properties > system restore > settings)
    • You can disable hibernation (if you don't use it) (right click on an empty spot on the desktop > properties > screen saver > power > Hibernate)
    • You can disable the indexing of the drive, which will also speed up your computer a bit (http://lifehacker.com/031440/turn-off-indexing-and-speed-up-windows-xp)
    • You can reduce the size of your Internet browser cache (depending on the browser that you use)
    • You can remove most of the $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx files $ following the directions here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Hotfix_backup.htm (read the warnings in the gray box first)

But none of these answers you will earn really large amounts of space for very long.  The term solution time is a bigger hard drive.

In the meantime, download and run JDiskReport, that will show you graphically what files take up more space and seem to so indicate what files you must delete or move to an external drive.

By all means uninstall applications is more desired or use the option - but do not count on the data in the control panel > Add / Remove programs that an application has been used "rarely" or "last use" date to some time ago.  Make sure that you don't really need an application before you click 'uninstall '.

  • Remove unnecessary files from my drive F to get the free memory.

My computer tells me that I'm running out of disk space on my drive 'F' and I need to delete files safely. I ran the first register the controls of the space, but my computer says that there is nothing to remove.

"There is another option that says 'Other Options', but I don't know what are the files I can delete safely drive"F"

Describe how your hard disk is partitioned. The operating system is on the C: drive usually - but not always-.

For example, list all your partitions, how big they are, what they do, and how much free space is on each. Oh, also, in case you have unallocated space on your hard disk, indicate how many there are.

To get this information, follow these steps:

Make a right click my computer and select manage. Then click on disk management.

Finally, you have access to an external hard drive?

  • Removed unnecessary files

I tried to clean the space and when I go to delete files as a moviemaker and netmeeting they reappear.  they go in the trash, but when I say clearly they reappear in the directory...    I need space on my C drive, and I don't need these files.  I raise intall clean up windows and do not show these programs, they are not on my program to start, so I can't do a uninstall...  Help?  Anyone got any suggestions?

You cannot remove these files in this way. Uninstall Netmeeting like this:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/938223

To uninstall NetMeeting on a Windows XP computer, use the following method:

Click Start , click run , type RunDll32 advpack.dll, LaunchINFSection, C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove, and then click OK .

It seems more difficult to uninstall Movie Maker:

    http://www.Google.com/search?q=uninstall+MovieMaker&ie=UTF-8&OE=UTF-8&AQ=t&RLS=org.Mozilla: en - org.mozilla & client = firefox-a

That said, these are really small programs and their uninstall will do much to help your problem of overcrowding. Use TreeSize free program to see what is too much space.

    Do the maintenance.

Copy data (music, movies, photos) files on an external hard drive and delete then the primary hard drive. Or buy a bigger hard drive and clone the smaller one for her. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    Hi again,

    A few general suggestions first:

-do not give your e-mail address here, unless you want to be spammed for the next few weeks.

-Mark all your previous sons answered if you feel your questions have been answered, it'll help people focus on new questions.

    On your new question:

    How the XML is generated?

When someone asks questions on how to remove nodes from an XML, I always say the best way is to not generate them in the first place.

That's why the SQL/XML functions are most often the best way to generate specific structures using other facilities 'out-of-the-box' such as DBMS_XMLGEN.

DELETEXML is obsolete, and anyway this method is useful for deleting nodes.

XSLT or XQuery is suitable for structural change in this case, although I would look first to get the necessary structure in the first place.
