REMOVE UNNECESSARY CONTROL PANEL FILES

It there a few time I installed some software but due to some problems, I uninstalled the thses are always present in the list of program control panel installed. How can I remove them. Can I check my system all the unwanted files and can I delete them from my PC? Day after day the performance of my PC becomes bad and low.
I did it as a result of the actions so far:
1-DISK CLEANUP
2-DEFRAGMENTATION
3 - VERIFIED UPDATES

Something more about updates is that all updates load my system or replace the old files?

-Install Revo Uninstaller - free

You may need to reinstall the bad programs then let Revo uninstall them. Attention to the registry options only remove the LOWER KEYS displays, ususually highlighted. Use the max level during installation to get everything.

Try using this 1 without having to reinstall the errant programs.

Revo - free

  • Windows restarts when I select the option to remove the program from the Control Panel files

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed. System of the down stops and restarts whenever I select the option to remove programs from the control panel. First of all, the problem occurred when I upgraded the version of iTunes. Restoration has solved the problem. Same thing happened when I upgraded my version of PowerDVD. Restored again to solve the problem. Just installed Office 2010 and the problem came back. I don't seem to be able to install software without this problem. Any help gratefully received.

    Hi Rugger,

Welcome to the community Microsoft and thanks for posting the question.

This issue could be happen if system files have been corrupted or any third party application conflicts.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest you perform a SFC Scan and check if it helps.

Steps to perform a scan SFC:

    a. click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, and open the command prompt.

    b. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

[The command sfc /scannow. analysis of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.]

Once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

    Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:

I suggest you perform a clean boot and check if it helps.

Clean boot will check if any third-party application is causing the problem, as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 3: to reset the computer as usual.

Vista Home Basic, 32-bit. Install software (games, etc.) does not not in Control Panel Add/Remove programs or CCleaner RevoUninstaller. They use all to. I don't know what has changed. Nothing new has been installed. How can I remove the software I want to uninstall? Thanks for your help.

    Hi il898,

This can also occur if the installation files are broken or missing for the program which may be reason for the program does not appear in uninstall a program from the list.

I suggest that you run the program to install the program again and check if you get an option to uninstall the program and try to uninstall the program.
If it still does not uninstall the program, and then try to reinstall the program and uninstall afterwards.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to remove the Yahoo? I followed the steps to remove the Control Panel, but the site is still there and in my toolbar.

For weeks I tried to get rid of Yahoo from my computer.  I deleted it - or so I thought - by using the option remove in the Control Panel, but Yahoo icon is still on my toolbar, and when I click on it and now I get redirected to the Yahoo site!  What should I do to get rid of this unwanted program?

    Hello

Which toolbar do you speak? Internet Explore toolbar or some other?

If it is internet explorer, the problem goes away if you run internet explore without modules, probably accessible from Start - (all the) Programs - Accessories - System Tools.

  • How can I remove the Control Panel details at the bottom of windows?

OK 21:00 tonight my keyboard fell from my bed and seems he has done something because it is now showing a panel at the bottom of all the folders on my computer, send me details about the drives, folders and so on, for example if I click on an image file it will tell me the name of the file , size, dimensions but also let me specify an taken date if no date is there, as well as let give me it tags, an author, a title, and the choice of 0 to 5 stars. I don't know what it is called or how to remove it, but for me it wasn't there until I use the classic windows shell btw, so it may be something in this but I have no idea.

This is a picture I took showing what I mean:

    http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/5443/win7thing.jpg

One way is to point your cruiser of mouse on the top line above the pane and drag it to normal size, because it is of size much.

Click on organize in the upper left corner and the layout and uncheck the list in the Details pane
