    Hello!

First of all, you should check the user manual. There you can find all the details on how to recover a Toshiba laptop.

In any case, if your laptop came without recovery disk you can create one using the Toshiba recovery disc creator. That's why you need one or two DVDs and then you have factory on a DVD.
If you created the recovery disk, you can boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. Windows will be reinstalled, and you get back to factory settings.

But you can also recovery a Toshiba laptop without recovery disk. So go to the F8 advanced boot menu and choose fix my computer. Now, you can choose the Toshiba Recovery option and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you have any other questions, you can search a bit in the forum. You will find a sufficient number of threads on the recovery procedure.
In addition, you must check this document:

  • Win7 recovery without recovery disks

Being a little crazy I ignored the guests to "make the backup disks.

Ive deleted the original installation of windows 7 for windows 8, but after finding problems with some games of win8 I wish I could put win7 on it

My hard drive still has the recovery partition, but by pressing f11 at the bios screen does nothing

is there anyway to recover my pc to the original without recovery disks configuration?

    Hello:

If you are not willing or able to purchase recovery discs, you can reinstall windows 7 using this method, as long as you can read your 25-character windows product key 7:

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • How to uninstall Windows 7 from the recovery disk?

By mistake, I installed Windows 7 on the recovery disk. I have only windows 7 installed on my Dell Inspiron. However, it is now a multi-boot, as Windows 7 is stored on the operating system and the recovery drive. How delete/uninstall Windows 7 from the recovery drive (more free space on it is exhausted). I already tried to 'Format' and 'Remove the Volume' in the disk management page, but the options are grayed out and I can't access it.

It's probably that you managed to install on the Dell recovery disk victory because it would be too small.

Open the recovery partition in Explorer to view the files.

Use msconfig to remove incorrect boot entry

  • Install Windows Vista from the recovery disk

I think the upgrade to windows 7, the official version. However, before I do that, I know that if I can downgrade to windows vista, as soon as I upgrade to Windows 7. I'm not sure that you will be able to go back to windows vista. Currently I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I also have the recovery disk. Can I install windows Vista on a recovery disk? I saw this article where they made a cd to the recovery partition and installed windows vista. Following the link to the article: http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/window-on-windows/?p=622. If you can help me with this, that would be grateful.

There is no decommissioning as such; Installing a clean place to go back to Vista.

You can reinstall Vista recovery disk/s that you made, or with those of the manufacturer of the computer.

And if it was / is a hard youtr recovery partition, do you the recovery disks FRO it. Mick Murphy - Microsoft partner

  • How to recover the Satellite A100 without recovery disk

    Hi all

I'm trying to restore my laptop A100 settings * without * a restore CD via pressing a sequence of buttons during startup (which must launch the recovery on the hard drive partition).

It is really unfortunate, I know it can be done as I did before butI for the life of me forgotten what was this key sequence I can't find the article I stumbled initially on!

I've scoured the web looking for this key sequence and all the proposed solutions, I fell on do not seem to work.

    Unsuccessful attempts so far:
    -Press and hold 0 power
    -various suggest 'F' keys: F1, F8, F10
    -now the delete key

Note: I guess it may be worth mentioning that pressing F8 actually take me on-screen "start options advanced windows" but I don't have any recovery options.

Yeh Yes, I'd * extremely * grateful if someone could point me in the right direction here because it makes me crazy... the fact that I've done this before, it that much worse!

As I know the A100 series has not been fitted with the recovery of HARD drive partition!
And so I doubt that any combination of keys will start the partition recovery!

So you only chance to recover the laptop is to take the recovery disk, then boot from it.
You can also try to install the disk Microsoft Windows operating system and then could install the drivers of Toshiba on the pilot site of Toshiba!

  • How to install Vista on Satellite A300 without recovery disk?

    Please, I desperately need help.

My brother bought a new Toshiba A300-23F in Saudi Arabia. He has little knowledge of computers.
    It's on the screen threre.

He sent it to my father in Pakistan but quickly noticed it was full of viruses and it installed fresh Windows xp SP2 after formatting hard drive.

He gave me to fix the problem. Because it is designed for windows vista. I want to install windows vista, but I do not have the disk recovery or operating any drive.

How am I suppose to install windows vista?
Someone told me that I have download the vista track and enter the key that is on the back of my laptop.

    Anyone with an idea. Please

    > He sent it to my father in Pakistan but quickly noticed it was full of viruses and it installed fresh Windows xp SP2 after formatting hard drive.

It was a big mistake buddy
The recovery disk is not shipped with the laptop because he had a tool preinstalled called creator Toshiba Recovery disk that allows you to create a clean recovery disc.
But this is not possible because the HARD disk has been formatted and all files have been deleted.

Now, you would not be able to recover the camera even using HARD drive recovery because the files are not available on the HARD disk.

You need a recovery disk, and you can order it here:

    Hey

If you don't have a recovery disk, you must have a vista recovery partition

with an acer try to press Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process

If she then asks a password the default is 5 or 6 zeros

The factory restore disk was finally created.

Dell is now a person pays create a backup system and the user must download a update to do so.

Microsoft has a tool to create a system image and make a recovery / restore disc which is free.
