  • Multiple distributions from a single source

Hello world.  I am trying to use a source tree and two applications for the same device but slightly different brand.  I use the preprocessor CAP to change the source-based distribution with ant and Eclipse (with the bb Scion).  Most of the time I work.  The problem is when I'm simulating single app will work because they are fighting for the persistent store. I tried just renaming applications based on their brand, but that is just on the Simulator.

The only solution I see is to use the preprocessor to conditionally to name the package. Is there another way like a magic jad? I must say that the Eclipse plugin is rapidly becoming usless for any real project.

I found it easier to use the c preprocessor ++ but in all cases, you can use the single hashtable persistent with fixed guid and do another

entry for each app. Alternatively, it might be better to simply define a symbol to be used as the guid po. I don't know what

preprocessor Cap racks, but they have uses beyond variants of construction (#if RIM_OS_TGT > 40300) etc and I regularly

Use __LINE__ in lieu of stack trace information and c ++ TIMESTAMP (IIRC, don't remember exactly) for the maintenance of the

    track builds.

  • CF Pages SLOOOOOW (basically never executed)

Returning to CF programming after 5 years of programming entirely, I could write four pages (display and update of records in SQL Server) that worked very well until I put in place an Application.cfm page to allow a login screen. Then they are all on the ground to stop (for example 15 minutes, after which I gave up and cancelled the). This happened with CF 5, so I just installed CF8 (developer version) in the hope of fixing it, but that does not at all and yet, as described in another message I just did (2930 JNDI port for server Coldfusion not active). This probably isn't a conflict with CF5, since I uninstalled before installing CF8.

Yesterday and this morning, when CF5 was still installed, every time the pages hung and I checked the performance in the Task Manager, it is always 100%. The problem must be something in Application.cfm because all I had to do is to rename it to xApplication.cfm and pages worked well as they had done before. I did it on two different computers with the same results - the problem and the "fix" him be rename Application.cfm (if it's important, the computer has 500 MB of RAM; the other had 1 GB; both are running Windows XP Professional).

A very interesting result produced if I entered one page other than the login page in the address bar of the brower, then renamed Application.cfm WHILE THE WAS STILL TRYING TO LOAD the PAGE (which it must not allow me to do, not if Application.cfm was used?). What happened was that the browser was suddenly redirected to the login page, just like Application.cfm asked to do if Session.LoggedIn was false. So it should have worked Application.cfm or how would he know to do this?

Your help with this problem (which would probably happen with CF8, too, is my guess) would be greatly appreciated!

My Application.cfm page (which for the most part, I copied programming ColdFusion by O'Reilly, p. 204), is displayed after the double dashes subscribed line. "Cfoutput" tags were designed to show me how he got, and strangely, the numbers '1' and '2' were working at some point yesterday, then stopped working for some reason; the 'cfouput' of cgi.script_name and Session.LoggedIn have been added later and have never worked. As you can see, some sections of the code, including the tags, "cflock", are currently set comment, but that did not help.

I think you can be in an infinite loop with your checking connection. This is the number 1 reason for symptoms, you see.

    Try changing this part:

BTW, I suggest to use double quotes in your CF tag variables - apostrophes sometimes cause problems or can be ignored sometimes.

  • There is a file or a folder called "c:\Program" which could cause some applications will not work correctly. Rename it to "c:\Program1" would solve this problem

Original title: message 'warning of file name '.

In the last week or so, I get a warning box appears on my desktop (from Windows 8) whenever I start.  He said "there is a file or a folder called"c:\Program"that could cause some applications don't work does not correctly."  Rename it to "c:\Program1" would solve this problem.  You want to rename now? "and there are 2 options:"Rename"or"ignore ".  I have "Binged", and there are a few very old discussions about it (like 5 + years ago) and the consensus seems to be that it is a matter of Windows.  What should I do to get rid of him?

OK, so here is how I SOLVED this problem.

In my case while studying this on a device of clients, I found that a VOIP program caused this problem and the error message popped up, and rename the folder won't work because the program is running.

Then I found the voip program (in the taskbar in this case) and closed. I then found the file that needed change of name, "c:\program" and renamed to 'c:\program1 '.

Then restarted the computer and... Don't pop up.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to rename an application on Windows 8?

    Original title: rename an application

I would like to rename some of the apps on windows8, (a stock app or that I have installed (like another anti-virus program). I can't find a way to do it.

    See http://www.itworld.com/windows/308063/rename-tiles-windows-8

As long as you are talking about "desktop" vs Metro/modern apps, you can rename them in the Start Menu:

    (1) tile right click / Start ads Menu

    (2) location open file

    (3) in the Explorer window that appears, note the path of the file - this is where your Start Menu shortcuts are (so you can rename other programs more easily while you're there)

    (4) change the name of the shortcut

The new name should appear in the Start Menu in a few seconds once it is reindexed your change.

  • Impossible to rename the application

    Hi all
I'm trying to rename the application using the application Manager 6.5 and unable to burst if an error cannot rename the application because it is locked to a user. I tried to find the locks by this user on the application and unable to find anything locked by this user. How can I rename it?

    Hello

What you can do is really easy.
    (1) start Essbase in interactive mode
    (2) to the window of the agent (essbase process), run the DUMP that export the dry file in an ascii file.
    (3) in this file, you will find a section "locked objects."

Then, ESSCMD, you can run the unlockobject command to release the locks.
If Essbase is unable to remove the lock because the file is not present (deleted, etc.), you can create a new file with the same name before 'Retry '.

    Good luck

  • Rename my application for me!

EDIT: We have a winner, but those who did win one suggestion (in time)! Please see my post on page 4 of what you won!

I really need your help. Hi guys so here's the story.

    1 app introduced this morning.

    2. search app world to my application.

    3. I discovered that someone has recently created an application for the torch which has exactly the same name with a "-Live Wallpaper" attached to it.

    4. I guess I need a new name. I don't want to change because I like the name, but I have a.) don't want suied and b.) I'm more concerned about someone thinking that the other application is mine which is just a background gif animated for two specific phones.

5 I need a name yesterday and I can't get to one so now I turn to you guys.

So here is my app. 'S called it Fireworks Finale. It is a Fireworks app to play with. It has an engine of particles quite decent, but for future updates, I can move to a the engine of the free particle that I do not really like working in AS3 and I would rather someone else do the job for me. I have a big update which I will introduce very soon but I wanted to make sure I got to the offer of the playbook. So, here's the link to my app.

    http://appworld.BlackBerry.com/WebStore/content/34302?lang=en

So please give me names. I would have preferred 'Fireworks' being in the name is easier to find, but I suppose I could add a ' - '. Because I have nothing else to offer to all the good names get a Bravo (it seems appropriate that you help me with my app) and the best I mark as the solution.

Here are the ones I already thought. I don't think they are all good, but if they are (and I'm just closing this problem) let me know and I will use them.

    Final Fireworks

    Light fantastic of artifice

    Fireworks

UPDATE: I'm going to stop taking submissions 7 pm CST today March 30

  • How to rename the application completely j

    Hello

I was wondering if someone uses the correspondence Management Solution Accelerator and renamed their request for 'j' to something else.  For example, instead of the url http://< Server >: < port > /j /... it would be http://< Server >: < port > /NomMonProjet /...

I changed the following files which are already reference 'j ':

    FSIApp\CreateCorrespondence\src\lcds-config\flex-config.xml

    FSIApp\ManageTemplates\src\config\dct-config.xml

    FSIApp\Portal\resources\security-config.xml

    FSIApp\Portal\src\com\adobe\icc\bootstrap\AuthorizationBootstrapper.java

    FSIApp\Portal\src\com\adobe\icc\bootstrap\URLRegistryBootstrapper.java

I noticed that in the flexConfig that is loaded into the two CreateCorrespondence and app ManageTemplate that the pscmContext is set to 'j', so this must change as well.  Can someone point me in the right direction to change this?  Also, are there any other files that may be needed to make it happen and does not break the apps?

    See you soon,.

    K.

    Hello, Kristian,.

You should try to change the references to 'j' in the following files:

    [...\SA_SDK_9.5\CorrespondenceManagement]\

    FSIApp\Portal\webapp\ClaimsPortal\pages\CreateCorrespondence.jsp

    FSIApp\Portal\webapp\ClaimsPortal\pages\HomePage.jsp

    FSIApp\ManageTemplates\src\config\dct-config.xml

    FSIApp\CreateCorrespondence\src\lcds-config\flex-config.xml

    FSIApp\Portal\src\com\adobe\icc\bootstrap\URLRegistryBootstrapper.java

    FSIApp\Portal\webapp\WEB-INF\web.xml

    FSIApp\Portal\resources\cm.properties [add property here ' pscmContext = / {context}'.] [For example, pscmContext = NomMonProjet]

    FSIApp\Portal\resources\security-config.xml

However, I would say that it is only partially possible, because there are a couple of components that rely on 'j' as the root of the URL context, and therefore would not work if you change it.

This is the Bootstrapper LCM Plugin (which is used to initiate the WMSC of LCM plugin) and ImportUtility (which allows to import an ACP exported on a target system). But perhaps you can live with that.

    See you soon,.
