Render time extremely Long

Hello.  I am very new to the aftermath and I try to make a slideshow template, that I bought at FluxVfx called 100 photos slideshow.  I talked to their support and they said it should take about 1 to 2 hours to make the project.  However, on my first try, I waited 7 hours and only got 1-minute slide show 2 1/2 minutes of it to QuickTime.

I am running after effects 2015

on one 4G macbook air with 1.7 Ghz Intel Core i5 and 120,11 GB free memory.

I initially deleted the cache by going to Preferences > media & disk > clear disk cache.

Render settings: best settings; QuickTime (video codec H.264 @ 75% quality)

I reached out to society, I bought the template from and they told me to clear the cache by going to edit > purge > all the cache memory and hard drive.  When I did this, my estimated rendering time is spent 24 hours to 117 hours.  I suspect that there is a wrong setting somewhere in the program or on the computer, but I am new to this program and not familiar with what it would be.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  I do this for a Saturday wedding and I really need to figure this out soon!

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I'm glad that you guessed it work!

Rendering of a sequence of images would help in this situation because you wouldn't need to merge anything. As soon as it crashes, you start just made of the frameworks you don't have to go. It is very convenient for long makes it like that.

And, Yes, 4 GB is the minimum recommended and the bare minimum to run same æ is 8, so could very well be your problem. RAM is cheap these days so if you have another project in the future, consider adding little RAM of your machine.

I use a cRIO-9073 to develop a data acquisition system.

Currently, I use that a single analog input of a module 9205 in my loop FPGA.

Y at - it an explanation for that?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Paul,

    Thanks for your reply.

I finally found the problem: the size of FIFO, I requested in the properties of the FIFO was too large to 32K items (for the type of data the FIFO U32) 4 times. He was filling the FPGA, 128 KB of RAM completely, leaving no room for manoeuvre for the compiler for the remaining logic. So bad, there was no warning for that!

By reducing the size of my FIFO at 4K, the compile time came in 5-10 minutes instead of hours!

All users affected by time of long term on a backup basis?

Solved; I did not disable my A / V for the base backup.  For incremental backups, I leave a / v on. My incremental backups run 15 minutes.

My HARD drive was like 2 pic wood saw outside.  (even my dog was barking at the disk). I woke this am to backup base of 6.5 hours. I run A / v monthly complete sweep, so I was comfortable to shoot A / v off the power when the base backup.  He is represented, this am, with a / v power off. Great watering duration. Newest RNR is therefore not a problem.

  • take an hour for 4 seconds to render time

    3.04 GHz Quad core

    12 GB of ram

I'm new on this and want to start exporting more video for a project, but I can't do it with this render time.

    Brandon

If your 3d text was created with the ray-traced rendering engine in After Effects (and you do not have an NVIDIA GPU, which meet certain criteria), then it will take a lot of time. If you find yourself doing a lot of this kind of work, I highly recommend the 3d element. It is a pretty cheap third-party plugin that makes 3d things very quickly. Zaxwerks 3d Invigorator is another popular choice.

  • Need a help. Please, I beg you. the project long render times.

    Hi there everyone!

If im new in the world of Adobe AE. I need help. Watched a 100 videos and searched, but... I did an audio visualization for my youtube channel and want to restore the mix of 50 min. My PC config is 8 GB ddr4, skylake quad intel. GTX 960 m. Then, when I try to make it take so long! 24 seconds to display a preview is about 5-7 min. and for 50 minutes, it would be around 7hours! my laptop from heating even after 7 min of render. How can I speed up the rendering, and I have to do with the size of the video? I made in adobe encode. h.264 - 8 mb full HD - advice read on youtube too for the best settings. People please help

Have a great day and tons of positive emotions!

Unless your 50-minute video is one-shot with effects applied to the same shooting and there is no cuts nuts is to try to do this in a single computer in AE. According to effects applied to only one made of several minutes, that a framework can be normal and expected. The usual workflow for a project of 50 minutes would be to break into small pieces, if the effects on each segment are complex or very slow return, then you make each room when this is done. If the effects are simple and fast make you can consider using Dynamic Link to each piece in Premiere Pro for final assembly. More than 90% of my comps AE are less than 10 seconds, because most of the shots in the films that I produce are less than 10 seconds. Several times my compositions contain dozens of layers and can take up to four or five minutes a frame to render. Most comps are effectively created composite or motion graphics restitueront at the rate of 3 or 4 frames per second. Nowadays about half of my work is 4K, and I produce masters 4 K that are made to the HD for final delivery using Adobe Media Encoder to create an h.264 MP4.

I'm just guessing that you have very long shots in your comp with a sort of music visualizations. If this is the case, every time that the music changes or there is a break, you break the project down into a separate model and then make this model in a lossless format visually. Because your system is currently taxed I would use the Cue Render to render these masters of the production. When you have all the parts made I would bring them together in the final project in Premiere Pro, which is the only way you'll be able to get an overview of real-time editing. Then use Premiere Pro to make the file available. This will save you time in the long run because rendering Cue and the output module will make faster than Adobe Media Encoder because TEA running AE in the background to do the rendering, it is less effective. The probability that a rendering of 50 minutes will fail repeatedly during rendering is very high, if all this makes your system resources. This will also give you time to check each section to see if you like it before moving on to the next section.

I hope this helps. I would never and have never tried to edit one to animate a sequence in AE who was only a few minutes longer because it is simply too inefficient. I put a whole feature in AE to make color correction, but he is already gone and it is a layer that already went to a master of production. Therefore, unless all your effects are applied to a single video track for 50 minutes together, break the project and make it into pieces.

Sometimes you get a bad connection to Apple servers. Sometimes the backup just hangs.

There is no reason to wait any longer than it does normally. Restart your computer, so iTunes and reset your iDevice, then try again.

Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).

  • Incredibly slow audio render times!

I have been dealing with his for awhile now on this documentary, I've worked on. When I export my script which is just around one hour, it takes almost 2 HOURS just to render the audio previews before it will export! Most of my calendar is a single track with no effect at all. Video makes it faster than the audio! The only unusual thing about my project it is largely composed of sequences of multi-cames long enough - about 30 sequences ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. There appears PP is rendered audio for every bit of my source sequences even if only a few seconds or minutes of each of them is actually being used. I don't know what else could happen.

I thought that since some of the audio was recorded at 44.1 K perhaps it was a problem and some of the sequences had several audio tracks in order to solve this problem, I went through each sequence and made on a stereo mix to 48/16 and deleted the old audio. Which seem to help for a while as with CS6, I was getting a very annoying message "made necessary audio files' every time I touched the game until I made the audio that like I said really takes a lot of time. Also, I can make it but if I finish first and re - open, I have to make it all over again. It does not record audio files. First CC is better about reading without the rendered message, but she still need return to export. I have no idea why it would be necessary to render audio 48/16 source files.

I reported this to Adobe but just thought I'd put it here to see if anyone else has problems. If all rendered audio should never be held in this day and age, it must be extremely fast. This problem is really brought exports to a crawl for this project.

    screenshot2013-07-28at12.24.29pm.png

Adobe CC, OSX 10.8.4 on a 12 core Mac Pro with a GTX 570 32 GB of ram and WB Studio. My RAID is an internal raid in 3 disks with 3 drives 3 TB in RAID 0. The video makes charging properly. The situation would be better if the audio rendering reloaded at least but why he needs to make "Audio previews" for this sound simple is beyond me. And as I mentioned I've lived quite a bit of trouble to make it as easy on the first as possible by replacing all sound 44.1 with 48/16 wavs.

I found this on another forum:

There are MANY other problems that came on this project and so I was put on the Group of pre-release with Adobe, but the cause for the problem described above was due to the speed of audio transmission of the project does not not at the speed of transmission of audio clips. There a resampling them accordingly.

This seems to have solved it for me.  I opened my audio files in another program, re-sampled them and then put them back in first.

EDIT: I can confirm that it worked.

  • WAIT times extreme and vm slow performance

In a cluster of 3 host R710 ESXi 4.1 (3 x 16 logical processors) DRS 18 virtual machines running on a virtual machine performance is really bad.

Glancing once ready nothing strange does not show, but WAIT times seems extremely high (some vm of maxing out at 20000 millisecond for longer periods).

I see that most vm have 2 vCPU and about 6 even 4 vCPU. I guess that the problem could be with the vCPU but do not know (its use and ready once are really low). Which could explain the high WAIT times?

    Concerning

The metric of WAITING % is not relevant because it includes idle time:

    http://www.yellow-bricks.com/2012/07/17/why-is-wait-so-high/

    % OF WAITING
The total percentage of the Resource Pool/world of time in a wait state.  That is, the world awaits a VMKernel resource.  Note that this percentage includes the percentage of time that the Resource Pool/world remained inactive.

If you really think a CPU bottleneck, RDY and CSTP % are the main parameters to be monitored.

Looking at once ready nothing strange shows

So how big are they really? Do not forget to put ready graphic vCenter summation values in proportion to the data collection interval (20 seconds in the graphs in real time).

But since I doubt you really CPU issues with 'only' 48 vCPUs in a cluster of 3 guests with 24 son of carrots/48 total, less than most, if your VMS running at nearly 100 percent CPU usage.

  • Reduce render time

    Hello

New for the Pro and get used to everything he can do however one thing that is causing a problem is made.

A 3 minute clip that has a few small clips added with a bit of tinkering takes 12 minutes to render.

My thought is Pro renders the full size video because it was recorded and I'm changing this size, when I'll be exporting to Vimeo at 1920 x 1080.

May I ask this question because of lack of knowledge but is there a way I can reduce the size now at the stage of work & edit so the video is smaller and so should be faster to render.

Just a question as in my head it sounds logical, but as with many things I guess that maybe this isn't the case

Any thoughts on that would be great.

    Best regards, Pete

    Hi Pete,.

When you say "12 minutes to render", do you mean exporting to Vimeo using Media Encoder or make the Red timeline to the green bar?

I usually do NOT make the timeline, as long as the reading is good enough for me to see the results of my edits and effects. I'll leave the Red segments, like stuff all gets made on export of anyway, so why do it twice? On this subject, if you return the timeline for the Green and in the SOUL, check the box 'use' prΘvisualisation, that could save a bit of time reposting is not the real effects, but still this preview file must be transcoded to the final output format so still "visited" twice. Which begs the question, how good is the 'Preview' codec used and do you really want this extra generation of quality loss? I never use previews and this means that the final export format is made directly from the camera of origin of clips.

Hope it makes sense. As mentioned in another ad, if you can share your system specs, maybe we can find a way for you to speed up the rendering. You use the mercury GPU acceleration? Makes a world of difference in performance. Sometimes just bump the RAM can help a lot too.

    Thank you

  • Powerful Machine - disappointing Render times

Hey guys, I spent thae spent a few days trying to get my head around multiprocessing in AE CC. I have a computer pretty beasty with a lot of power. Its possible I am simply expected too but I want to be sure! Windows

Im running Windows 7 Enterprise 2008

I have 32 hearts altogether (with hyper threading)
    64 GB of Ram
    Quadro 4000

I started a comp pretty basic just to do some bench marking. Its 8 seconds long and is just a text consisting of sand (using Trapcode Form). Need me 3 minutes to 6 seconds ago. Is that what seems reasonable? p

    It's at full resolution 1080 p 30 fps

Also, I noticed that multiprocessing doesn't seem to work for the 50 first officers, or two, then happening right outside to render 1 frame at a time. Any idea why this might be?

    See you soon!

Need me 3 minutes to 6 seconds ago. Is that reasonable?

Yes, it's a short time to render.

Sometimes, depending on the effects and other used items, each image can take minutes to return.

    > Also, I noticed multiprocessing doesn't seem to work for the first 50 frames or two, then just out of 1 frame at a time. Any idea why this might be?

You have not kept enough RAM for use by processes other than the background rendering process. When the first plan RAM cache fills up (or when another application on your system wants to RAM), background processes should stop rendering and return the RAM for use by these other processes.

  • Time extremely slow machine

    Hi all

    The case is the following:

I have two MacBook Pro. A 15 inches and 17 inches. The two El Capitan running. I'm saving these two machines on a Synology NAS. 15-inch machines runs smoothly for more than two years now. It's very fast backup regardless of the amount of data to back up. 17-inch machine is troubling me. Every two weeks or so the backup will run very slowly. Sometimes more then three hours to 700kb. I checked and I can say that Mac is configured the same. The speed of my wifi is 300mps. I tried to rebuild the spotlight index, tried to connect to the ip address of the nas instead of examplenas.local I do the backup went corrupt apparently causing a very, very long time to complete. It's really annoying and it does not give me a good idea that my data is well protected.

Is - it has anyone an idea what is happening here and I need to do about it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

    ADri

Check the backup and primary drive.

    See Pondini A5 here http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html

You need to know what is happening... which means either reading the part of TM to the system log or use the widget, also in Pondini A1.

It is not so easy to load in El Capo, but it does not work.

Another thing I would do while he's in the pot... Plug the 17 "ethernet... Wait for the ethernet to support before turning off wireless. See if that solves the problem of speed. Wireless on old laptops with El Capo may have problems. You need to separate these problems TM issues.

  • Envy27: Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600 is originally a response time of long right-click upward to 6 seconds.

After a right-click on the desktop, or somewhere in the window, it takes a very long time, 4 to 10 seconds, it's too slow!

When I disable the Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600 of Device Manager, it will be quickly again, but then I don't have access to my graphics card. There is no update available for her. What should I do?

The computer was normal 20 days ago and the right click was fast. I guess windows has had some updates for windows 8.1 graphics cards is not compatible with it. I don't want to restore my computer, I have a lot of things I do not have the time to reistall them again. I have McAfee antivirus sysmtem mechanical using the software and all updates, but nothing can be detected. How can I solve my problem?

    Hello @biomed-engineer,.

I understand that you experience a delay when you right-click and it worked correctly about 3 weeks ago. Now, you said that you do not want to do a restore, but I think that you involved in RECOVERY and RESTORATION. If you use the HP Support document: use Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8) , it will guide you through a system restore that will preserve your personal data, and the only thing that will be lost is any applications installed after the day you choose or the settings that have been changed since then. If you choose a date means 1 month return you'll only loose applications or settings have been installed or changed during the month, everything will remain the same.

I think that's what you need to do to fix your problem and recommend that you follow the steps in the document I have provided.

I hope this helps. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Since the upgrade limit "Screen time" no longer works.

I understand that with Win 7 hours available per day has never worked.  So let's take that from the equation.

Before the upgrade, I could sign in security for the family of any device to add or remove time.

Since the upgrade, he can sign where he wants, regardless of my standing orders.

I see some nonsense now, I have to refresh, by signing with your family on that. computer, using my connection and click Refresh.

So are saying you that I can change is no longer permit time by logging parental control of another device?

I have to sign into the computer, then connect to Windows security and THEN refresh?

This is a great strength of parental control that I could change time since any device license and ask them to work.

Now I add time, he cannot sign I revoke his time and nothing happens.

Good news, I can (once again) to change the authorized beginning and end of time through parental controls of a device and apply to the other.  So at least I can change the time at will (since I can agree is more blocks of several times a day.)

Use ' Firefox/file > output "(Mac: ' Firefox > quit smoking";) Linux: "file > exit ') to close Firefox if you're doing that by clicking on the X close in the title bar.

Using the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" is a more reliable way to restore the session data.
