Repaint problems with 4.0.2.15

Hello

After the passage of 3.2.20.09 to 4.0.2.15, I have a problem with the window repaint: at some point (in this case ramdomly) when I change to another application (IE internet Explorer) and then I go back to sql ADNxtc appears that shponkah results. The worksheet is gone, the login window has disappeared, the menu went etc...

If I move the mouse on the screen, when I go to the menu then it appers, so it seems even some repaint problem (not sure about that).

In any case, is difficult to work like that because I have to select the text on the sheet or mouse over all the sqldeveloper window to see again all the things. Finally, I have to close and reopen the sql developer...

I tried with different jdk and various customer Oracle (due to some advice read the net).

Can you help me?

Windows 7 64 pro.

8 GB RAM

sqldeveloper (64 bit version)

JDK 1.7.0_55 (64 bit version)

Oracle customer 12.1.0.1 (64 bit version)

PD: Sorry for my English por...

So, it seems that all is well with the memory and the JVM.  Strange that in your previous posts the problem manifests only after hours, but now quickly fires.

From scratch, after having eliminated the memory as the culprit, the standard advice when the user interface behaves badly are to try to rename or to delete the following folders, and then restart SQL Developer, jumping on the stage of migration of user settings...

1 %APPDATA%\SQL Developer\system4.0.2.15.21

2 %APPDATA%\sqldeveloper

If this does not help, then you can check on other environmental as factors...

1. is your site updated to the latest version available video device driver?

2 have you installed third-party extensions that could be the cause?

In addition, you can also try to collect debugging information as stated in the blog of Jeff:

Best wishes

  • Problem with window painted and scrollbars when editing (LabVIEW 8.0.1)

    I'm under LabVIEW 8.0.1 in Windows XP SP3.  For my main VI, I came across a strange problem about 5 months ago.  The front window - both in edit mode and run mode - arrested repaint itself on the right side which is no longer visible when you scroll from top to bottom, but also visible overlapping Windows.  Coinciding with the repaint problem, both bars scroll search disabled grey arrows and no boxes in the bars that you can click and drag to scroll the window.  The scroll bars work still partially if you pass the mouse over it and roll the mouse wheel but does not work by clicking and dragging.

    The façade has a lot of controls and indicators, including containers of tab control and is greater in the horizontal directions and vertical so the two scroll bars must be active.  But I deleted everything in the Panel before and everything in the schema and the problem persists.  If the problem is not directly related to a control/led display.

    I saved the simple VI to this problem (using a line of large text and a high box rounded to test), and then created a new VI and copied the two elements at the new VI.  This new VI didn't paint it and the problem of the scroll bar.  The two screws are slightly different in the memory usage and the revision number (bad is review 1785 and the good is revision 3), but otherwise the two screws are identical.  I have attached two screws at this announcement.  When you first open the bad VI, you will see the scroll bars disabled while the good VI has active scroll bars.  To replicate the repaint problem, scroll the window up and down with your mouse wheel.  If it's good when you first open the VI, click on another window, then click on the window of VI and try again the mouse wheel.  This by clicking sur-loin-and-return always causes the problem of repaint for me.  I tried the screw on two different computers, both running Windows XP SP3 and LabVIEW 8.0.1 with identical results.

    Here's what I discovered simple troubleshooting with the screws:

    always off scroll bars

    * repaint the problem in the main window for larger then 680 pixels of window widths

    * repaint the problem in the menu bar of the main window for widths of more than 646 pixels

    * entire window becomes disabled than 1348 pixels window width

    * can paint window minimize and restore, but only repaints only once

    * scrollbar boxes sometimes flicker in the display, but then disappear

    * Scroll left and right hovering mouse over the bar and horizontal scroll by using the mouse wheel

    I found something similar on this forum (thread: problem with refresh of façade)-it could be linked to the CAR on the Panel being offset internally.  I don't have access to LabVIEW 8.5 or later and do not plan to upgrade - I have not tried the trial version, as this user has done.  I could try to copy and paste my set of the block for a new VI diagram but the VI is so important I'm afraid something would break, plus I don't want to do it again in a few months.  The problem seemed to occur after a certain number of stops (or revision number).  I save copies of backup often and when the problem first happened, I was able to go to a previous version, make the missing changes and save it without any problem, but this only delayed the problem and he came later.  It is therefore perhaps the revision number.  It seems not related to a change or a particular addition in the front panel and the graph.

    The attached picture shows the repaint problems and scroll bar in bad VI.

    This raises a question I have - if this problem is a bug has been fixed in 8.5 and later, is it possible to apply bug fixes for older versions?  Or what I need to pay for an update fix these bugs?

    Seems that something got corrupted with this VI. Things to copy on a cool VI and things should be OK.

  • invalidate the problem with 9700 (OS 6.0.0) Simulator

    I work with a PaneManagerView, and I extended in order to call the invalidate() protected method.  When I run my program on a physical device, painted correctly screen each pane that I move from one tab to the tab.

    However on the Simulator both flaps and tabs often not repaint, even if I call invalidate.

    Then I discovered this - with the simulator at a time where the screen is bad, because it does not repaint, I cover the window Simulator with another window (such as Notepad).  Can I move the other window, exposing the Simulator window.  Display of the Simulator is now correct.  In other words, the Act of covering and uncovering it forced to repaint.

    Moreover, I also saw problems with the screen, when you simply browse around the Ribbon.  My code does not for the moment, while the problems are clearly in the Simulator.  When I use the PC keyboard to move to the right (for example) sometimes the ribbon icon does not get the highest point.  Move to the right, once again and now the 2 during the last icon highlighted icon gets the highest point.  Clear the display did not update.

    I saw this problem with the Ribbon in the 9650 and 9800 simulators as well as the 9700 Simulator.

    Is there a work around for this bug in simulators?

  • Possible repaint problem

    Hi all

    I had a problem with my bb app, and another instance of the same question has been raised on another of my screens. The problem is when I delete a line in my objectlistfield screen showing until I have highlighted the area where the problem is and it sorts itself, it can become a little visible/invisible on some lines.

    The same thing just started happening on another of my screens after you add another manager of text boxes, buttonfields, etc.. This time the problem is triggered when I scroll horizontally (and then scroll back the way I came) in a horizontalfieldmanager with scrolling. The screen goes kind of visible/invisible (best way to explain it) until I highlight the affected area.

    I think it's something to do with the painting/repainting but I'm completely new to java/rim api so I really need some suggestions on what to try.

    the objectlistfield is a custom of mine class, it is added to a class of the screen. I use drawlistrow and navigationMovement to allow the highlighting of the line in case of development.

    Concerning

    Brendan

    Finally solved!

    I set up scrollchangelistener and that is the thing

    ' Public Sub scrollChanged (Manager, int newHorizontalScroll, int newVerticalScroll)
    {
    if(Manager == HM)
    {
    Invalidate();
    }
    }

    I know disabled has been mentioned before, but find out where invalidate was my problem. as many events!

    Thanks for your help

  • problems with fixing ScrollPaneLayout

    I use a patch of a former subject of mine (Re: rather confusing behavior get with BorderLayout provided by Walter Laan (thanks!), but I just came across some problems with it.) The code below is almost identical to the solution on the former thread:
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;

    public class TestScrollPaneLayout {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
                public void run() {
                    final JFrame frame = new JFrame("Test");

                    // use BorderLayout if you don't want the borders
                    final JPanel myPanel = new JPanel();
                    myPanel.setBorder(BorderFactory.createLineBorder(Color.pink));
                    myPanel.add(new JLabel(
                    "A nice label, oh wait its too long! (actually its too short, hence why i am adding this)"));

                    final JScrollPane scroll = new JScrollPane(myPanel,
                            JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_NEVER,
                            JScrollPane.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED);
                    scroll.setLayout(new FixScrollPaneLayout());

                    frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE);
                    frame.getContentPane().add(new JLabel("Resize the frame to show/hide the scroll bar"),
                            BorderLayout.PAGE_START);
                    frame.getContentPane().add(scroll,
                            BorderLayout.PAGE_END);
                    frame.pack();
                    frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
                    frame.setVisible(true);
                }
            });
        }

        public static class FixScrollPaneLayout extends ScrollPaneLayout {
            @Override
            public Dimension preferredLayoutSize(Container parent) {
                Component view = getViewport().getView();
                if(!(view instanceof Scrollable)) {
                    // if not Scrollable ViewPortLayout sets an explicit size
                    // which means ScrollPaneLayout ignores the view preferred size
                    // this workaround assume this is only called during layout
                    getViewport().setViewSize(view.getPreferredSize());
                }
                Dimension size = super.preferredLayoutSize(parent);
                if ((hsb != null) && (hsbPolicy != HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_NEVER)) {
                    if (hsbPolicy == HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_ALWAYS) {
                        // size is OK
                    }
                    else {
                        boolean canScroll = true;
                        if (view instanceof Scrollable) {
                            canScroll = !((Scrollable)view).getScrollableTracksViewportWidth();
                        }
                        if (canScroll) {
                            Dimension viewSize = getViewport().getViewSize();
                            Dimension extentSize = getViewport().getPreferredSize();
                            if(viewSize.width > extentSize.width) {
                                // size is OK
                            }
                            else if(view.getPreferredSize().width > getViewport().getWidth()) {
                                // Fix it!
                                size.height += hsb.getPreferredSize().height;
                            }

                    }
                }
                return size;
            }
        }
    }
    However, if I start adding the fixed scroll pane in other places (for example, in a Panel in the footer) instead of just the borderlayout within the framework:
    public void run() {
                    final JFrame frame = new JFrame("Test");

                    // use BorderLayout if you don't want the borders
                    final JPanel myPanel = new JPanel();
                    myPanel.setBorder(BorderFactory.createLineBorder(Color.pink));
                    myPanel.add(new JLabel(
                    "A nice label, oh wait its too long! (actually its too short, hence why i am adding this)"));

                    final JScrollPane scroll = new JScrollPane(myPanel,
                            JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_NEVER,
                            JScrollPane.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED);
                    scroll.setLayout(new FixScrollPaneLayout());

                    JPanel footerPanel = new JPanel();
                    footerPanel.setLayout(new BorderLayout());

                    footerPanel.add( scroll, BorderLayout.PAGE_START);
                    footerPanel.add(new JLabel("footer : made by me!") , BorderLayout.PAGE_END);

                    frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE);
                    frame.getContentPane().add(new JLabel("Resize the frame to show/hide the scroll bar"),
                            BorderLayout.PAGE_START);
                    frame.getContentPane().add(footerPanel,
                            BorderLayout.PAGE_END);
                    frame.pack();
                    frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
                    frame.setVisible(true);
                }
    I get strange when behavior its maximized/minimized. In my program real when I maximize and print the statement:

    If (view.getPreferredSize () .width > parent.getWidth ())

    parent.getWidth () is not just, its allways the unmaximised (if you maximize) size or vice versa and only attaches to a manual resizing or revalidate/repaint, this isn't what happens in the example above, but his strange behavior still display...

    I hope someone can help track down the problem

    Thank you

    Edition - to clarify only upward acts when optimize you a size that has a scroll bar or reduce to this dimension

    You might want to try using revalidate():

    frame.addWindowStateListener(new WindowAdapter() {
      @Override public void windowStateChanged(final WindowEvent e) {
        EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
          @Override public void run() {
            System.out.println("windowStateChanged");
            JFrame f = (JFrame)e.getWindow();
            ((JComponent)f.getContentPane()).revalidate();
          }
        });
      }
    });

  • Problem with the rendering of JProgressBar in JTable

    I have some problems with the rendering of JProgressBar in JTable. In the case of several lines, when a progress bar is updated, and its text is changing, then he painted all the progress bars in this column.

    Here is my code I used to create the table:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    JTable convertTable = new JTable(convertTableModel) {

                public Component prepareRenderer(TableCellRenderer renderer,
                        int rowIndex, int vColIndex) {
                    Component c = null;
                    if (renderer != null) {
                        c = super.prepareRenderer(renderer, rowIndex, vColIndex);

                        if (vColIndex == INDEX_CONVERT_STATUS) {
                            //System.out.println("c = "+c.getClass());
                            if(c instanceof JProgressBar) {
                                //System.out.println("inside = ");
                                c.setBackground(Color.BLUE);
                            }
                        }
                    }
                    return c;
                }

                public boolean isCellEditable(int rowIndex, int mColIndex) {
                    if (mColIndex == INDEX_CONVERT_SELECT) {
                        return true;
                    } else if (mColIndex == INDEX_CONVERT_STATUS) {
                        return false;
                    } else {
                        return false;
                    }
                }

                /*
                 * JTable uses this method to determine the default renderer/
                 * editor for each cell.  If we didn't implement this method,
                 * then the last column would contain text ("true"/"false"),
                 * rather than a check box.
                 */
                public Class getColumnClass(int c) {
                    if (getValueAt(0, c) != null) {
                        return getValueAt(0, c).getClass();
                    }
                    return null;
                }
            };
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Then I applied on this table rendering engine

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    // Applying JProgressBar Renderer for convert table
            TableColumn col = convertTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(INDEX_CONVERT_STATUS);
            ProgressBarRenderer progressBarRenderer = new ProgressBarRenderer();
            col.setCellRenderer(progressBarRenderer);
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Class code ProgressBarRenderer is as follows:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    public class ProgressBarRenderer extends JProgressBar implements TableCellRenderer {

        private Hashtable ht = new Hashtable();

        public ProgressBarRenderer() {
            super(0);
            this.setMinimum(0);
            this.setMaximum(100);
            this.setStringPainted(true);
            this.setBorderPainted(true);

            UIDefaults defaults = UIManager.getDefaults();
            Font font = new Font("Arial", Font.BOLD, 12);
            defaults.put("ProgressBar.font", font);
        }

        public void setRowEnabled(int row, boolean enabled) {
            ht.put(row, enabled);
        }

        public void setForeground(Color c, int row) {
            //System.out.println("setString ht = " + ht.size() + "  row= " + row + "  Selected= " + (Boolean) ht.get(row) + " color= " + c);
            if (ht.isEmpty()) {
                this.setForeground(c);
            } else if (ht.size() == 1) {
                this.setForeground(c);
            } else if ((Boolean) ht.get(row)) {
                this.setForeground(c);
            } else {
                this.setForeground(c);
            }
        }

        public void setString(String s, int row) {

            //System.out.println("setString ht = " + ht.size() + "  row= " + row + " text= " + s);
            if (ht.isEmpty()) {
                this.setString(s);
            } else if (ht.size() == 1) {
                this.setString(s);
            } else if ((Boolean) ht.get(row)) {
                this.setString(s);
            } else {
                this.setString(s);
            }

        }

        @Override
        public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table,
                Object value, boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) {

            //System.out.println("getTableCellRendererComponent = " + table);
            //System.out.println("Renderer ht = " + ht.size() + "  row= " + row + "  Selected= " + (Boolean) ht.get(row));

            if (ht.isEmpty()) {
                return this;
            } else if (ht.size() == 1) {
                return this;
            } else if ((Boolean) ht.get(row)) {
                return this;
            } else {
                return null;
            }
        }
    }
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I add the next line and rendered the progress column is follows:
       convertTableModel.addRow(new Vector());
       ((ProgressBarRenderer) convertTable.getCellRenderer(row, INDEX_CONVERT_STATUS)).setRowEnabled(row, false);
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    When I add the first row, it works fine, but when I add the second row, he painted the entire column.

    Naturally, you will have problems if you set a string or a color of a table cell value when the class of the column is declared as integer. As I have already said, you need to spend some time with the tutorials.

    import java.awt.BorderLayout;
    import java.awt.Component;
    import java.awt.event.ActionEvent;
    import java.awt.event.ActionListener;
    import java.util.Random;

  • Anyone having problems with WiFi connectivity after upgrade to Sierra?

    I was wondering if anyone else knows issues with WiFi connectivity since the upgrade to Sierra 10.12? I have not had any problems with connectivity WiFi previously on El Capitan. Now I have regular randomly loose connectivity. My internet is cable and when it is connected I have a 100% connection. My details of iMac and I have used only 10% of my storage.

    No problem with my iphone 6.

    Hello AspDesigns,

    I understand that, since the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra, your Mac seems to have trouble staying connected to Wi - Fi. Fortunately the diagnosis built-in wireless can help identify the source of so much trouble.

  • Problems with mail after switching to macOS Sierra

    Hey all

    After having recently upgraded to macOS Sierra, I am unable to read my mail.

    I get the following error every time I check on "Get Mail".

    There may be a problem with the mail server or the network. Check the account settings "*" or try again.

    The server returned the error: Mail could not connect to the server 'pop1.tribcsp.com' using SSL on the default ports. Verify that this server supports SSL and that your account settings are correct.

    What does this error message mean and how can I solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Hi Michael,

    I see your message that you get an error in the mail indicating that there is a problem with the mail server or the network.  To help get this problem resolved, I suggest that you follow the steps below:

    If mail refers to a problem with the mail server, or the network

    Mail will say that it is impossible to connect due to a problem with the mail server or the network. For example, the message may refer to a connection that has expired, or too many simultaneous connections:

    If you are connected to the Internet, but the connection has expired, your email provider might be affected by a discontinuance of service. Contact them or see their status Web page to ensure that their e-mail service is online. Examples of status pages:

    If the message indicates the number of simultaneous connections, too many of your devices is check your e-mail account at the same time. Quit Mail on one or more of your other devices.

    If you are still unable to send or receive e-mails

    1. Make sure that you have installed latest version of the Mac software updates, especially if the problem occurred immediately after the installation of a previous update.
    2. In OS X El Capitan or later version, you can see a status icon and the short error message in the upper right of the Mail window, under the search box. The message may indicate 'Network offline' or 'Connection failed', for example. Click the message to see more details on the issue.
    3. Check your connection to the Mail connection doctor. It might be able to say more on the issue.

    If you cannot send or receive e-mail on your Mac.

    Take care.

  • iMac 27 "mid-2011 - Intermittent problem with CPU fan running at full speed and sleep mode.

    Hello!

    My iMac 27 "has an intermittent problem with the CPU fan runs at full speed. Sometimes it happens at the time when I start it, sometimes only in my session, and sometimes only after a certain time. So does seem to be a problem of "heating".

    Second issue is with the mode 'sleep'. It may occur also at any time, at the start of the iMac, session, or after a certain time. But once he starts to go in mode 'sleep', when I wake up, it goes right back in mode after a few seconds and that it will continue indefinitely until I restart the computer.

    What could be?

    I'm having some problems while playing the clash of clans on my 2 mini ipad screen does not seem to meet sometimes as if it was some sort of delay so I have to tap several times in order to use a filter or throw the troops on the battlefield.

    Hi Trinitygr,

    Thanks for posting in the Community Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with your iPad screen while playing a game. I like to play games on my iPad and I don't see how this could be a nuisance. I'm happy to offer assistance.

    Are you only had this problem when using the app clash of Clans, or does it happen in all applications? I recommend to start by following the steps described in this article:

  • Anyone having problems with the new iPhone LTE connection 7 on Verizon?

    I am now on my iPhone second 7 with Verizon. I had four phones for me and my family. I have now had issues where I have no signal in the same areas where my signal allows to be strong. I can't solve the problem with the activation/deactivation of the airplane and then mode again in normal mode. My phone will rest with no signal for 5 minutes, then going to LTE with three bars. I also had the problem where I had only 1 x signal, while my son standing right next to me has LTE. And he had the same questions, where I'm on LTE and it gets no signal. I use to have LTE where I live and work all the time, now it's spotty at best. Apple has replaced me and my sons iPhones but not luck. Still do. Any ideas or an any other suffering?

    (1) go to settings/cell phone/cellular data Options/enable LTE and select ONLY the DATA. This seems to solve the problem (as a temporary solution) for most of the people affected by this problem. The bad part is your request might not be as clear (since they cannot use the highest LTE signals) and you can make calls and data at the same time. But it does not solve the issue.

    (2) there are rumors (but you didn't hear that from me that we only are not supposed to discuss beta software program Apple in this forum) that the new version of Apple Beta for iOS (which also includes an update of the software carrier Verizon to 26.0) seems to solve this problem. So, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Problem with some fonts of symbols after the installation of the Sierra

    Hello

    I have recently upgraded the OS on my iMac late 2012 for Sierra, since doing so, I noticed a problem with several fonts.

    All symbolic symbols Apple to Wingdings fonts not correctly displayed in the font book. Apple symbols looks like a standard wheelbase of san, and other symbolic fonts just show as question marks '?' where the images should be.

    In text editing, that I can't even see the symbolic fonts like Zapf Dingbats and Wingdings in the selector. However, they all work well in Adobe Illustrator (CS5) and Microsoft Word 2011. Apple symbols still looks like a standard font.

    I already tried the following:

    1. check the fonts in font book

    2 fix the duplicates in the font book

    3. using the "Restore Standard fonts" option in the font book

    4 deleting a file in the folder Preferences plist Fonts

    5 deleted the cache of police and the database

    I'm out of ideas. Has anyone else had the same problem found a fix?

    Kind regards

    Greville

    I'm just to add that I used the recovery partition to do a clean install of Sierra on a hard drive external and then booted into it to see if it had the same problem.

    And he does. Wingdings and other photo fonts appear as '?' in boxes where the letters must be in the font book.

    So this seems like a problem with the way Sierra displays these fonts, not with the font files themselves.

  • ios10 problem with non-users of iphone messaging

    After upgrading my iPhone 6 ios10, I had intermittent problems with the messaging of Android users (basically, the conversations no iMessage). In about 60% of the time it is not just to deliver the message no matter what I do (pressing the 'Try Again' don't work do not). He has no problem with the reception of the texts, but I can't answer to Android users (Interestingly, I can message users of Android if they are in a group with iPhone users text). I tried everything was updated to the last verision until reset of ios everything.

    I can't find anything online about this. I'm the only one who what?

    Group Messaging uses the MMS. Normal text messages using SMS. SMS uses the voice channel to transfer messages and is strictly a basic function. If you are experiencing problems sending SMS, contact your carrier.
