Repair after Platinum live security virus
Hello
First they gave me my equipment by my local education authority there are a little over 2 years now and even though I have all the software for microsoft office it seems now I had not given the disk OS W7 (everything was wrapped as he was released, and it of not here so can't be anywhere else (, but believe me I looked again).
I was in big name sites on sat August 4 and Platinum security's live Webcam was waiting.< this="" is="" not="" something="" i="" believe="" is="" still="" effecting="" the="" machine;="" malwarebytes,="" hitman="" pro,="" f-secure="" easy="" clean="" (online="" tool),="" f-secure="" anti="" virus="" scan and="" sfc="" scan="" all="" agree="" that="" no="" malware="" is="" on="" the="" system="" at="" the="">
The problem now is that the Windows Firewall, Windows Defender and f-secure anti-virus all contain errors means that they used to run. The firewall and the Defender said that the devices aren't there - including BSE - and f-secure says that there is a network outage, but I have no more information than that. the scan is still running.
Can I get repair the damage the direct security Platinum has done for my defense?
To be more precise, the said Firewall error 0x6D9 code. In SafeMode with network I don't see what the Defender said specifically.
I can advise more information as soon as I know what to look for - I tried a lot of things like sorting on msconfig and things ive seen others told to try, but so far these three problems.

How to remove XP Total Security Virus?
Cannot get rid of Total XP Security Virus - advice please?
Running Onecare security suite.
Unfortunately, criminals who create a rogue security programs like this one use techniques that prevent antivirus programs to detect and remove.
If you don't think that you can follow the removal instructions, I recommend that you get expert assistance in the forum of the Aumha or BleepingComputer.com malware removal, have a competent local computer consultant help you, or visit the Microsoft Solution Center and antivirus security for resources and tools to keep your PC safe and healthy. If you have problems with the installation of the update itself, visit the Microsoft Update Support for resources and tools to keep your PC updated with the latest updates.

I recently had the xp security 2012 the virus on my computer. It gives me the error message "could not start the windows firewall/internet connection (ICS) service... sharing." "How can I fix?
Best thing to do at this point is a clean reinstall of XP. Another thing you can try is to select a "Point of restoration' created 'Before' you when reached by the virus.

If the programs are not removed you can create the shortcut icons on your desktop for required programs.
If the programs have been removed you may have to reinstall.

Is XP Total Security virus?
This seems to be a 'fake' piece of software. He joined himself in the MSFT security software. He is running a routine continuously saying "Virus Infection". It will launch a scanner that lists the malicious software and where it is located. the ONLY solution is to activate total security XP software. When you click on save, it asks your personal information and credit card. I tried to launch IE and Firefox. The XP Total Security software blocks access to internet and requires you to revisit the site for credit card information. It's a resident app memory (I think) Security XP logo appears in the toolbar next to "time". I now use window Malware detection tool, after 2 hours, no results, but it still works. Any other suggestions? This code is sneaky... and seems VERY genuine.
