Replacement of blackBerry Torch 9850 Smartphones?

I feel stupid, but it's like your too far into the forest to see the trees. I am a bell type sound whenever I get a FB message. I can't find where to change the setting ring. I'm sure its under Options, but where?
This model as well as old 9850 has also a parameter on the keyboard of the language. Down below on the left next to the space bar, he said. When you click it, it opens a list of languages, English being questioned to show. How can you get rid of this? I feel it is supposed to be a? Symbol here.

Hey, open your profiles (on the home screen, the upper left speaker icon small touch.)

Press on "change sounds and alerts.

Touch profile management

Touch your profile that you use most, such as 'Normal '.

Touch each other.

Press on Facebook and change the sound to silence or what you prefer.

Do the same for Facebook Messenger or Facebook Chat.

The same for any other profile, you do not want to hear this bell notification (for example, if you use the Loud profile or medium often.)

Is on the keyboard in Portrait or landscape?

Open your list of Options (from the home screen, touch the upper area > scroll down to Options)

Typing and language

Contact language

Make sure that all languages are defined in ENGLISH. Look at the bottom of this screen and all those English too well defined.

    A couple of days my blackberry torch 9850 cut randomly during the day and since then has been so slow to (I timed it) 45 seconds to open an e-mail message. I tried to take out the battery, I have reset several times and I'm working on the reinstallation of the operating system.

    I read a lot of forums and most places say I should do an OS reinstall all the few months because IT IS a FEATURE OF this PHONE! ??? Is there a difficulty standing for this or I have to go back to my android?

    most of the time the OS is stable enough, it may be a few improvements to a new OS with an old app causeing it.

    On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on #Torch. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens.     I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

    If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

    But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

    I have a torch 9800 and updated Os 6.0...  I live in Virginia and use AT & T Wireless.  I love this flashlight and want to stay with her, but I had some problems with an inability to reinstall the programs that I had uninstalled months ago... I would get an error when loading the program after you have reinstalled it.  I had read about it and I decided to not worry about this and passed without these programs.

    Now... Today I have app world?  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  Read many forums and even wiped the phone and reinstalled still no app world.  I you need help, because I had (thorugh installed app world) programs and would like to reinstall them.

    I currently have the Blackberry Torch 9800 3 g, WiFi with the Bundle 6.0 2647 (v6.0.0.600, platform 6.6.0.223)

    Hi, I had a search in the forums and knowledge base and has not been able to find an answer to this problem.

    I have a new Blackberry Torch 9810 on O2 to the United Kingdom. I have Blackberry App World installed and I have App update the icons in the my messages folder. Whenever I try to go to my Apps and install updates in the App World, I get the terms and conditions window if poster, I scroll down, click on 'accept' and the window disappears and nothing happens. I click on my Apps again, same thing, window appears again.

    I uninstalled App World and reinstalled and I still get the same problem, I can not get the Ts & Cs to accept so can't update my apps or install others. If someone else has had this problem and is there a solution?

    OK... try this...

    (1) make sure that you already have the RIM desktop software installed on your PC:

    and have executed at least once with your BB attached (so that it can do it's initial configurations).

    (2) attached via the USB port of your PC (the software didn't need to run)

    (3) launch the browser on your PC and go here:

    Leave the plug in install and 'connect' to your BB ID account (via the browser/PC)

    See if that allows things to configure correctly.

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you may need to provide some clarification... as exactly what is happening. Your subject line you could not open the e-mail setup application, but the body of your message says that you were unable to set up your email address (which could imply that you could open the configuration of the e-mail application, but it cannot configure the email)... subtle, but the details are what help us help you.

    To make sure that it is not a problem with your version of BlackBerry App World, delete App World, restart your BlackBerry when you are prompted, and then reinstall by going to http://blackberry.com/appworld on your browser of the torch.

    9800 is a GSM device that may not work on Verizon. However, 9850 is a CDMA/GSM device and work on Verizon.

    There is sometimes a long delay in the passage of the orientation from portrait mode to landscape - or vice versa.  I can do anything to force it to quickly switch the orientation, or should I just wait.  I tried to switch the phone back, side-, but not always help.

    Start with a battery pull. It should solve this problem, which is more than likely software-related. With your phone, remove the battery, then replace.

    Let us know if that fixes things.

    You did not, so I can't tell if you are a Sprint customer or not... or, more specifically, whether or not the VendorID of your BB is Sprint. But, this OS package comes from one carrier other than the carrier that your BB was built, on your PC, and then remove all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    Now run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    In addition, make sure that you just installed, on your PC, a packet of BB OS... with more than one installed on your PC can sometimes cause problems.

    Alternatively, you can bypass the Desktop software and proceed directly to Loader... from a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

    Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.     I'm syncing my Torch 9800 on my desktop Outlook 2010 calendar and Contacts. I have Office Ultimate one-way comms Manager TO the device from the desktop (at least for now). Whenever I synchronize Organizer, all contacts in 1060 and 70 a few dates in the calendar are deleted from the deivce and replaced by desktop (I have the config set so that the office replaces what is on the device). Is there a way I can have just the new or changed items be sent to the device?

    I was also to have the famous AT & T address book synchronization problem and done a wipe clean the phone, uninstalled the Office Manager and purged the register what anyone saying blackberry or researchinmotion. After all that, if I go to the torch ALL | Contacts | Menu | Options AT & T address book is still listed over TOP of the LISTS of CONTACTS, with a DEFAULT header listed below this header. If I sync, I get the data you want to Outlood the torch, but if I turn the torch OFF then turned back on, it starts looking for the database AT & T. I spoke with AT & T and they have disabled access to the database on my account, but I can not get the torch to forget. I'm under version 6 bundle 2647 because I had trouble with the version 7 and read that I was not alone in this. Any IDE?

    Have the BlackBerry Desktop Software to replace the data on the BlackBerry smartphone, just that he takes everything off the BlackBerry and then changes by what is in Outlook. If you disable this feature, it will just update the data on your device.
