• Qosmio G35 display shuts off and won't turn back on

  After sitting for some time an hour or more generally the screen shuts off and no button can't seem to get the monitor to turn back.

  The Qosmio G35 still works and every once in a while, the screen turns on, but I don't know why.

  Have you tried to update the display driver and BIOS?

  I read about a similar question in this forum and especially a BIOS update and update the graphics driver helps solve this problem.

  2. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

  3. How have you tried to run the virus and bug checks?

  4. is this the machine is disconnected and re-login in back or just reboot?

  Step 1:

  If the machine is in continuous loop, then try to disable the auto restart in case of system error and let us know the error code.

  a. restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

  b. Select disables automatic system failure reboot when the Windows Advanced Options menu is displayed and press ENTER.

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  I have a 9850 which freezes when I go to App World and try to do anything in the App World. If I click on 'My account' or 'My World', it freezes and says please wait with the Green wheel. I left this appointment for 2 days and no progress.  Even if I click 'Download' for an application. Only way to unlock is to remove the battery.  Very frustrated to say the least.   To make sure that it is not a problem with your version of BlackBerry App World, delete App World, restart your BlackBerry when you are prompted, and then reinstall by going to http://blackberry.com/appworld on your browser of the torch.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BB Torch - deletion of files and multiple records

  I have over 150 photos in the pictures folder on my Blackberry Torch 9800 and after their import to my PC, I want to delete them from my BB to find memory and space... I can delete these photos one by a sequence of instructions in the Guide, but it is not logical to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.

  What I want to do is to remove all the contents of this folder of photos in a single step. I looked on the BB Torch User Guide Ver 6.0 and in help for the BB Desktop Software and that you have not found the instructions on removing entire folders or multiple files in a folder in one step.

  Can someone direct me please some instructions or the Support page on the subject.

  Hi, I just bought a HP Pavilion 15-n253sv and I noticed that when I close the lid its turns off instead of getting in standby mode. Also when I stopped it, and then I close the lid it lights up. Its like the on off button. Is it a hardware problem that I must return the laptop? I checked out the settings and it is said that when the lid is closed it just goes to the standby mode.   If I understand you correctly, your computer shuts down when you close the lid, and if it is turned off and you close the lid it lights.  I think you are right to think it's a hardware problem. • Help! Lenovo B570 random Shut off and Start Up problems

  My Lenovo laptop B570 has had problems lately. It is only a month, but has frequent problems.

  My first question is that it stops randomly no matter what I do. I will be checking my email or anything else online then the screen is black and the power light is off. Happened almost every day, and I'm going to College soon so I don't want to cut when I anymore.

  My second problem is that sometimes when I start the laptop, either normally or after the random shut off, it will not connect properly. Sometimes I use the fingerprint reader or type in the password. It will say 'Welcome', then it will say "Please wait", but it will not disappear no matter how long I wait, and I left for 20 minutes like that before.

  My third and final question is whether the laptop freezes sometimes or all programs cease to operate and remain unusable. When I am able to boot successfully and connect, I open any program, and it will open, then immediately, it will say "not responding". When this happens, and I click anywhere else, everything becomes unusable, even the start menu.

  My solution to all these problems was to hold down the power button until the laptop turns off, start it in Mode without failure, then restart. I installed McAfee antivirus and Malwarebyte anti-malware software and scanned the whole laptop, but there has been no detection with either. If anyone has had similar problems, or has a solution to my problem, I want to say thank you in advance.

  Is it possible to use internet in WiFi without data on services? I'm on a good prepaid and data mobile internet is not exactly good markets, so I would only use WiFi for data.   It's a good solution, but I would say a battery pull prior to an update of the OS.  With your phone, remove the battery, then replace.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
