• Replace the existing files - error

  I see this question came up a few times, but after reading the answers it seems that I still have a problem.  can someone clarify if I make a mistake my workflow please?

  1. Take images to the XXX folder and expand them
  2. Export these images in a new folder YYY.  Add to the catalogue not checked
     
  3. Syncronise YYY and bring new images.  Apply a develop preset to these images to import
  4. Export images of YYY with preset applied to JPEG to YYY for external use.  Select "replace without warning".
  5. Error comes up saying that it cannot be run because would replace exisitng photo

  I understand others threads is that this eror should occur only if you try to replace an original, but it was designed for exactly my purpose when you're operation on the copies.  I'm just owndering how LR is supposed to know that the imported copy is not genuine.  What attribute would say that as the import by means of synchronization is the same process.  If I used the "add to ngociant' in step 2. This leaves LR know it's a copy?  If so I could add my preset manually?

  The bug which allowed the overwriting of files present in the catalogue has been resolved for a long time. LR has no idea of this "original" are, it just won't let you no more write files present in its catalogue and a good thing! Write the function is to write on exported images, I use it all the time and it works very well. So if I want a set of images for one purpose I export to a folder, if I need then in a different size or I just use the same folder and write the files previously exported. No need to import these files in LR as I have the "original" and can always make virtual copies if I need different versions in LR

  My HP Dv4-2145dx said to replace the internal battery (error code 601)-j' did.  Is she still displays the error and stops automatically, if not plugged into the wall.  Everything which the ideas going on here?  The external battery is fully charged.

  This problem can occur if the media rights (DRM) a folder is corrupted. We need to reset Windows Media DRM in delete/rename all the files in the Windows Media DRM folder. Note that the Windows Media DRM folder is a hidden system folder.

  The problem seems to be related to the use of an event inside a timed loop structure.

  Call loops are designed to be run in certain time intervals, while program alsways waits on the structure of the event inside the loop until an event occurs. These two behaviors are strictly opposed to each other, which could cause problems in this particular case.

• Keep the build order when replacing image?

  Hi guys this problem has plagued me for a while.

  I create a video model in Keynote. The intro slide has a video file (locked) followed by an (unlocked) image and finally another video file (locked). The three of them follow a specific build order with delays, which in turn creates the complete animation.

  I want that the user don't just replace this the Middle image on the slide with one of their choice.

  The problem is, once replace it user order image, positioning of the image and delay in construction are lost. Unfortunately I don't think users are sophisticated enough to follow instructions on how to set the build order, then replace the timing delay, the image needs.

  Is there anyway someone (with a limited understanding of Keynote) can replace the Middle image without compromising the build order?

  Use an image placeholder:

  • Add a picture to the slide in the format (vertical or horizontal)
  • position and size according to the needs
  • Add a formatting required (picture frame, shadow, etc.)
  • Select the image then: Inspector > Format > advanced > define as media placeholder

  Given that the CD does not work in Windows XP computer also, there seems to be a problem with the drive itself.

  Clean the CD or the DVD. To do this, use a disc cleaning kit. Or gently wipe the silver part of the disc with a soft and Lint cotton cloth.

  You may not have the correct permissions or own the medium on which you try to perform the backup.  Here are some instructions on how to give you the right permissions and Take Ownership (if necessary).

  To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder/drive, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.   You can click right in the grid of thumbnails and choose to display it as a list. You can then sort the columns by clicking on them.

  I don't know of a way to get to another level by default.
