* Reproductible Bug *-don't break until you restart

My family has / have 4 fuses and 20 clip + I'm not kidding, we've used them for years, they break I buy new.

I would like the clip to the back of the clip + was stronger I which breaks all the time...

OK the bug reproducible for as long as I can remember on the clip + and the "rocket".

Starting with the breakers is asleep or off

1. press the power button

2. press the key play during the startup process, but before being fully booted up

3. tap the immiatedly devices begins to play from start to finish, but the play/pause button has no effect.  The play break alternate icon on screen, but keeps it the device playing without worrying.

I've known about this since a few years and it was always annoying, because it requires a restart of the device to fix.

It is a problem that is known for some time. It is likely to not ever fixed via firmware update. Just wait that the player is completely started (a few seconds) before starting to push buttons.

  • Windows 7 problems with gel applications, programs stop working until you restart

Windows 7 is a stupid IDEA! . Since then, I have installed windows 7 64-bit on my 64-bit machine. I had problems. Programs to decide that they will not open until I restart. IE and Firefox both freeze when all Web sites are trying to load a video. Also other programs will just stop working and turn off while they don't reopen until I restart again. I installed 7 as an upgrade not a clean install, I'm not sure how to go about backup up files for that. I'm also extremely ready to roll back to Vista, I have not had ANY problems with him. I am also about to throw my laptop through a wall with windows 7 and microsoft. Thank you for another piece of trash! (and headaches). With all that money, you would think they can actually DO SOMETHING RIGHT!. I have now lost $120 on garbage, might as well use windows 7 CD as a Brawler of ice this winter.

    PS everyone has ideas?

Rants are part of the dealing with technology. As long as they are against the technical and personal equipment no technical, I think we've all been there. Ironically, two days after my message praising Win7, I had a spontaneous reboot that seems to be associated with a known issue with the sensitivity of kernel-power. I was able to reproduce twice, so I think I have a work around until the bug is addressed.

OK, back on topic. If you have a version to the retail/TMC, you should be able to perform a clean installation with the option to format the drive; then, the fun of reloading everything from scratch and to restore from a backup. I'm not promoting a particular site, but this one

There are also other tools available to start from a CD or a DVD and then format the drive in NTFS, reinstall it from scratch. But you must have a DVD very convenient for loading eligible upgrade then Win 7.

  • Satellite M60-132 - USB stops working until you restart

    My problem looks like this:

All USB ports die after a few minutes (time may vary, but is shortened recently) after the start. They give no error - the USB mouse stops responding, the USB drive gives stops giving "delayed write failure" or sth like that. They are all visible and OK in device (Windows XP) Manager, no problem not being reported here. They have just stop working. I tried to reinstall Windows. It is not dependent on the OS actually. For example, I can boot from a live CD of SuSe Linux and ports will also die after a few minutes - they do on any OS tested.

Now, I have discovered (GOOGLE usb ports stops working until the reboot) that several Satellite M60 users report this problem with their old cell phones. Exactly the same thing - ports die after a certain time of start and remain that way until you restart. In one case the user writes that he bought a cardbus PCMCIA USB controller and the problem continues - the ports of the controller when dying as well as embedded.

My idea is to try even when the PCMCIA - maybe it will work in my case (another chip etc - you have never know). And anothr one must try to connect a USB hub to the Firewire port available. There are USB to Firewire Converter cards - could work like that?

Anyone know any solution to my problem or have an opinion on my ideas? I am looking to buy a new laptop, which I can't really afford right now...

    Hello

To be honest I've ever read on these problems on the Satellite M60, but it can happen from time to time, because it of also a fairly old laptop.

My friend also uses a PCMCIA card that has USB ports on his old notebook. He is quite satisfied with this solution because it don t need to each time the USB ports. Just sometimes if he's copying files on USB.
These cards are cheap, you can get it for a few s Euro and you can buy this card where you want, for example Amazon.co.uk.

I never heard firewire to USB ports, which is new to me and I n t have experience with this.

  • iOS 10 video playback stops working until you restart

I have an iPad Mini retina, and since the upgrade to iOS 10.0.01, a short period of use causes videos to stop working.

Videos in Safari, Chrome, YouTube etc. appear in the cache (saturated with progress on the top bar), but no response to play. The first image of a video appears, but only in the form of static image. I am able to change the static image displayed by rubbing them at any point in the video, but playback will not occur.

The only thing that allows video playback is again restart the device (apps force closing, locking and unlocking etc. doesn't help).

    Hello, Sunkai!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I understand from your post that you're having trouble playing videos on your iPad mini; the video will start but will be stuck as a single image, as if the buffering and never take back (at least until you restart). I mainly use my iPad for watching videos, so I know it's important that they play in fact; I'm happy to help you!

I have some troubleshooting I can offer to you. Before you begin, create a backup of your iPad using iCloud or iTunes, following the instructions here: How to back up your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

Once you have your backup, try the following steps, in order. A video test after each step and will stop when the problem is resolved.

    1. Make sure your iOS software is up-to-date. In the last week, iOS 10.0.2 came out. Use the following article to get help update: update the iOS on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software
    2. If this happens on a Wi - Fi connection, try restarting the network you are using from the router or the modem (if possible). If it is a private (for example, your home network) WiFi network, try to remove all the devices on the network, then by simply adding your iPad in return.
    3. Try a different network.
    4. Reset the network settings on your iPad under settings > general > reset > reset network settings. This will affect all personal data (like your photos, contacts, calendar of events, etc.) but it will remove saved passwords, and Wi - Fi networks one previously used settings APN or VPN and all paired Bluetooth device.
    5. Restore your iPad settings, following the steps described here: use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to factory settings

Once the restore is complete, configure the iPad as a new device (i.e. without using the backup that you created earlier, at least temporarily). You can sign in iCloud, iTunes and App Store, iMessage and FaceTime with your Apple ID test then a video.

If the problem is resolved, you can restore your backup by the information here: restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

  • Edge 13 and earn 8.1. : Wirless functional until you restart, then off.

    Dear Lenovo-community,

I experience the strange behaviour of my 13 edge with Windows 8.1. I did a clean install of the operating system and that no other drivers are available, installed the WiFi Driver Win7 version. I restarted the computer and WiFi works as before. However, once I restart the WiFi adapter disappears from the network and sharing options and my Device Manager always tells me that the "device could not start. Reinstall the driver get Wirless, until I restart again.

I guess this might have something to do with physics deactivaction. Only that my wireless button (on the edge it is F9) doesn't seem to work on Win 8.1.

    Any help is very appreciated.

  • Satellite Pro L300 WiFi continues to drop and doesn't reconnect until you restart

Hi, I have a Satellite Pro L300, number of model PSLB9E - 00G007EN running windows Vista professional.

Recently I started trying to connect to my wifi at home instead of using the ethernet cable.

Research shows my home network and then I connect with the password, everything all right at this stage, sometimes an hour, sometimes for 10 minutes and then the connection disappears. When I try and re-connect it does not find any wifi network, but I have not moved from where I was when I was connected. I have I-phones, etc. and another laptop running windows 8 connected wireless, and there is no problem with any other machine, just my toshiba!

Sometimes if I turn off the wifi using the switch at the front and then put it again which solves it, but once again only for another 10/20 or 30 minutes. Sometimes even that does not work and I have to restart the machine to find the network! It works, but once again for a limited period until he gave up the connection and it disappears again, back to square one.

I even tried to take this work and connect to the wi - fi, but still exactly the same thing happens, so I think I can rule out problems with my home network / router.

I'm not very good with computers, but have managed to check if the driver is up-to-date, etc., and all appear here... Help, please!

Yes, you are right, the laptop seems to be equipped with the Realtek RTL8187B WLan card.
This wireless network card supports 802.11 B and G standard.

    First update the WLan driver.
Here you can find the latest WLan drivers available on the Realtek page:
    [Driver Realtek RTL8187 WLan: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=40&Level= 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = EU tr]

This driver is for Win XP / Vista / Win 7

In the event that the issue will not be resolved, go to the Device Manager.
Choose the WLan card-> properties and go to the Advanced tab
Here, choose either the 802 standard. 11 B or G. This setting depends on the settings of your router. If your router supports 802. 11 G, you must choose G

  • OpenManage 7.4.0 do not pick up disk failure or removal until you restart

    Hello
I've been rebuild a Dell T310 customers with new 4 x 450 GB SAS Raid 10, using his H200 raid card and that you have installed Windows HyperV 2012R2.

All software packages, drivers, and software have been installed and updated, and I began to test my OMSA DellAlert.ps1 script for notification by e-mail.

I decided to get one of the 4 drives to test the notification, but OMSA has not detected any withdrawal from disk! Very disturbing! I left that he unplugged for 9 hours and always OMSA showed 4 discs online. Even refreshing the OMSA browser, or closing and reopening the browser has not changed anything. Only when I reboot the server it then shows a disc had been removed and my script notified E-mail me this.

I pushed the disc in and again 3 hours later OMSA has yet to show that nothing has changed. Discs 3 and 4 activity watch as they rebuild but if OMSA is not displayed any changes how I'm destined to receive alerts to show when a disk has failed and raid has deteriorated.

I can't put this server back in my client until this issue is resolved. Has anyone seen or had this problem before? Any help would be grateful. I guess my next step will be decommissioning OMSA and firmware etc or reconstitution with 2012 HyperV server test.

Update 1 - if I stop and restart the Server Administrator service and DSM SA Data Manager then the notification comes through and loggin in the OMSA shows the missing disk.
The LCD on the server changes to orange as soon as the disk is pulled so the underlying hardware seems to work ok, it just seems to be the OMSA 7.4.0 2012R2 HyperV software.

Update 2 - I've upgraded OMSA to 7.4.0.1 and nothing has changed. I noticed that the show OMSA Embedded System Management (ESM) logs MAKE a disk has been deleted or inserted, but the section alerts and all other areas of the OMSA show no changes until the services are restarted or rebooted Server!

Fix possible update 3 - I reinstalled a copy eval 2012R2 with a graphical interface to see if that fixed it but it was always the same questions. My only solution seems to be 7.4.0 uninstall and install OMSA 7.3.0. I now put my HyperV 2012R2 system on and confirm that the 7.3.0 works as well for her.

  • Windows 7 slow until you restart - restart does not solve the problem

We have two windows 7 PC, both with Visual Studio development and not much more and both of these PC regularly go slowly - and I mean really slow down - so that VS takes anything up to 10 minutes to load. Other programs loading is too slow (for example, performance monitor take about the same to load). It makes no difference if I restart the PC, but is cured if I turned off and reboot the PC (which means safe mode will work fine, as I have to shut down the PC to do this).

That happened during the last 6 months or so (don't know exactly if cannot go back and see what has been installed or updated) and becomes a pain, especially on the weekend when there no one in the Office for the power of the PC if I remotely close.

The fact that it does not cure the problem, but did a restart and goes on two PC, means that there is a common element on each PC that is not reset by restarting, or that is external to the PCs but is reset when turned off (for example, a physical network connection).

The problem is that I don't know where to begin to fix this - I tried to disable things, but this makes no difference - and some ideas of what it could be, or a way to identify where the problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Neil

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

  • seeing cRIO of State flashes 4 times, but the prog works well until you restart cRIO

I have a cRIO 9073 with a significant program in RT and FPGA, using a front-end for Windows communicating using the network of shared on the cRIO variables.  Great short program if I simply deploy the RT VI main (with of course built FPGA code), or if I deploy the RT version.  However, if I select 'run as starting", works to deploy on the main façade of RT VI opens and I see activity (it works very well), but then I click to restart the cRIO, and the cRIO restarts only to run for a second or two before the status light blinks 4 times (soft error).

I doubt it's a problem of memory as suggested by the manual as if it were the case, I expect the deployed application would fail as well, but it works very well.  I have check the fault log and see nothing useful.  I see also on the deployment of the cRIO dialog box has ~ 12 MB free after the deployment, if I deploy against a target with the "NOR-RIO 3.6.0" software - January 2011, and further if I use a minimum package with additional components, I need (network engine Variable and editor of State system).

It was a project of years which worked beautifully and recently required change.  In the meantime, my development PC has been updated with Windows 7 64 bit.  I am running LabVIEW 2010 SP1 Professional Development System with RT and FPGA packages.  CPU utilization on the cRIO when I run the deployed application (with the cover available for diagnostics) is about 20%.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Erik

I found my problem, and it was mine and not Windows.

I ended up using the Console output for help and saw Exception Code 6 (0 x 00000006) appear on the console, ultimately ending with Safe Mode - software in Max error message unfortunately, I can't find anything looking for this exception code, so I went back and looked at my VI in real-time , and I found my problem: I had added two new network static Variables (NSV) and had not fixed the reference to the Relative target Mode. I have so many DRVS in this VI that I had not also wired their outputs error to an indicator for troubleshooting.  Since I have it, but even that resulting in still mode safe, if I have returned the absolute reference Mode.

I suspect that the VI has run in interactive mode, as the project was the IP address of the cRIO set when the RT build was made and later failed, because the IP address changed when the cRIO was on the network.  Oddly, I had a lot more luck for the cRIO to run in mode interactive (then disconnect from it) if my PC and the cRIO were connected by a crossover cable, and both have been using link-local addressing.  In this way, I could get my project running every time.  When I later tried connecting via the network, it is when same interactive mode would fail most of the time.

Unfortunately, a mini-project, I created to test this situation was not the issue - it could not run (if I built the RT build by setting the IP address of the target to an imaginary device) or ran very well (if I put the address IP target correctly prior to construction), but never caused the cRIO enter Safe Mode.

What I want to know is, can be an option somewhere to make all default DRVS for the target Relative to the reference Mode?  I have not yet used an intentionally used this absolute addressing.  I also recommend to the reference on the NSV Mode indicator something more obvious than a tiny symbol OR in the lower left corner.

    Thank you

    Erik

P.S. I created a support for this request and the console log provided to support engineer if this is useful.
