Reset computer

Hello again Xysaerv,

Yes, you can use any disk of Windows 8 as long as it's for the same OS that you are running. If you're running Windows 8 professional you will need a professional disc of Windows 8.

I hope that answers your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

    Hello

    I agree with Akuma
The common Modules must be installed before you attempt the update of the BIOS.
The common Modules is an essential component of Windows systems.
It is required to TOSHIBA's other original programs to work properly, as the update of the BIOS!

  • Reset computer to factory settings, installed SP1 and lost control of the keyboard and the mouse. Had to do system restore just before the installation of SP1.

    Original title: help

OK to reset to factory settings to allow hopefully laptop to read CDs again, then downloaded installed sp1 and lost control of the keyboard and the mouse, and still can not play music not forget hadda restart in safe mode to use the system restore to just installing the sp1 b4

    Hi MartyFenwick,

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will certainly help the question of fixing.

To help you suggest several steps to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the mouse and keyboard?

    3. you receive an error code or message?

    4. is everything works well after running system restore?

    5. what exactly do you mean by "hadda restart in safe mode to use the system restore to just installing the sp1 b4?

    6. what happens when you try to play music CDs?

    7. what program you use to play the CD?

Please follow the methods and mark the question below:

Before you install SP1, follow the method 1 and 2.

    Method 1:

You need to perform a clean boot to prevent any third party conflicting application from interfering with your computer.

To put the computer in a clean boot state, you must follow the steps in the article mentioned below and check with the question.

Note: You must follow step 3 of the article mentioned above to recover your computer to a Normal startup after you complete all the steps.

    Method 2:

I suggest you disable the antivirus for temporarily until the installation of SP 1.

    Disable the antivirus software:

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3:

Follow the steps in the link for problems with the keyboard and the mouse below.

  • Reset computer back to factory settings

    can someone help me

original title: I have a laptop of hi quality and I would like to reset to factory settings it runs on windows vista but I do not have the disk because it is there another way, I can do this__

Most laptops and many OEM desktop computers (HP, Sony, etc.) come with a picture of factory restore on a special partition on the hard drive. The factory restore process is normally called by pressing a key of function (such as F11) to start the computer. There will be a message as to what function key press the screen when you start your computer. You can also consult the manual of your computer or the computer mftr.'s site, or contact technical support to learn how to restore your computer if you plant from each computer mftr. He does it differently - sometimes even between models.

These machines also generally have a utility to create physical recovery disks in case the hard drive needs to be replaced or the factory restore image is somewhat damaged. If you have not created the recovery image recovery physical and/or damaged disks, contact technical support of computer mftr. to order a set of recovery disks. It is normally very expensive, around $20-25. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • How to factory reset computer?

For 25 hours from now, my computer has been upward.

I played a game (Sims 3) and he is cut. So if I tried to load it again a pop error message - up would be saying "failed to start the game. the initialization of the service has no 0x024e424f ". so I tried to delete the game via the control panel and it gave me a different error message saying "an error [-5005: 0 x 80070002] Please make sure that you have finished all together back and closed other applications.» "If the error occurs after the seller: Kusa.
So I removed any personalized content, that I had downloaded and all caches that was in the folder Sims. Then tried uninstalling again, it did not work. I had a loook in the regedit thing and the Electronic Arts folder isn't there. I did not remove it or a folder in the program files folder. I tried to restore the system on the computer, but would not go back to early before the problem started...
    I can't do a factory reset that I don't have a recovery disk.
My computer is a Fujitsu Esprimo P1500.

Any ideas of how I can fix this embarrassing? Also where can I get a recovery for her disc? did search, but couldn't find anything.

    Thank you
    Rhue

You must contact the manufacturer of your computer and ordering a set of discs if you do not have or cannot create from your computer. You may also be able to restore your computer using a special hidden part of the hard drive.  The best way to find out what your options would be to check the documentation for the computer, or the support web site.

  • Update BIOS of 1, 70 - WIN on Satellite Z830-10 t - computer not supported

    Hi all

I am installing the update of the BIOS 1, 70-WIN of 09/12/12, delivered in a folder called "bios-20120907140253', unsuccessfully zip.

Whenever I run the .exe file, I get "this computer is not supported" returned in BIOS Toshiba package Ver.4.2.1 window.

    My laptop is PT22LE-00E004EN.
Software from Toshiba Tempro advised me to install this BIOS update.

Is that what someone else has this problem, and is there a solution?

    Thank you

    Rob

In my opinion, you need not update the BIOS, even if the new BIOS has been updated.
I have a laptop works perfectly with the old BIOS and I don't have day to a newer version, even if the new updated released

However, I found really interesting thread with a solution:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=66787

Here's another thread with the same error message:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//thread.jspa?threadID=68345
The solution-> retrieve the laptop initial configuration by using disk HARD recovery and try again.

PS: do it before this try reinstalling the VAP

    Help?

The computer may have a partition recovery integrated for exactly this.  For Dell, press CTRL + F11 right after turning on the computer.  For HP, press F10.  Or use a CD-ROM to recovery supplied with your computer.

Be sure to back up all your data files on an external support first.

Should I upgrade to Windows 8 pro to use products VMware or Oracle?

Is there anything specifically I need to know or do before doing all this?

I'm not at all knowledgeable about the current Windows OS. XP was the last. I heard enough to tinker.

Thanks for any assistance with this.
